Frosted glass so couldn't see out window. Bathroom power points didn't work. i needed to be close to a mirror to style my hair with hairdryer. i meant to leave note but forgot. Room wasn't as big as i expected.

- Lynn (9/5): - The apartment was great and good value for money. Spacious for one person and with all the necessary facilities. Airco etc. so the temperature was good. Host was also very friendly. Would definitely stay again.
Next to trainstation and there are also many Lime bikes around (though I have read it's a temporary trial with Melbourne municipality), so it was very easy to move around. A minor thing is that the house is next to a busy road that stays busy overnight (which you hear from the apartment), so I had to sleep with earplugs. (Though, I should say that my sleep was also affected by a jetlag!)

- Stephen (7/5): Stay was ok but location and street noise not ideal - Well equipped rooms Location- on a very busy road and very noisy. Blinds don’t block out the light. The exterior was not inviting and extremely poor signage
- Caitlin (1/5): Not for light sleepers, existing damage I wasn't told about - The beds themselves were comfortable, and the shower was quite large. It was very clean. 1) Location is AWFUL. I was on the top floor and could hear the traffic and see the street lights through the curtain all night. I could not even get through one night's stay there with earplugs in. I left at 3AM to stay at a friends' house.
2) The place was falling apart and they attempted to charge me for damage I did not cause. Several things basically just fell off the wall as soon as I touched them, including a towel rail in the bathroom which was not even screwed in properly. The tile underneath it already had a crack in it but I didn't think anything of it until it dropped on me. I'm sorry your hotel is in bad shape but it's not the responsibility of guests to pay for existing damage, sorry!
3) Pillows were awful, way too soft and no volume to them. It felt like trying to sleep on a deflated balloon.
4) No hand soap or tissues, which seems ridiculous. No wardrobe or anything either.
5) NO ELEVATOR. I had to lug a massive suitcase up and down a flight of stairs.
I was in room 5, which faced the road. Possibly other rooms wouldn't have the traffic noise issue.
I'm sorry this is quite scathing because I appreciate how clean the room was and didn't mind it being small or anything, I thought it was a nice room. But the traffic noise really is unforgivable and the damage notice I came home to was insulting.

The hallway floor is very noisy, and the non-soundproof door doesn't help.
The hallway is visible from the door and vice versa, which is not ideal for a studio apartment.
The curtains do not fit the wall properly, and people on the street can see inside the room.
I do not recommend it for those who need to stay for several days. There is no dining table in the room, only a low coffee table that is not suitable for eating.

There were split systems but difficult to use & kept turning off. So we spent the stay without heating. No instructions on how to use them. Lots of online instructions on how to get keys for car park and entry to building but very complicated for an older person.

- Phillip (10/5): The best complex for a short stay in the area by far, loved our 2 nights at Grosvenor 3121 . - L,ocation was superb, easy walk to Bridge Rd, Swan St and into the Melbourne CBD via Hotham St and the Fitzroy gardens. Apartment #1 on the ground floor was outstanding, incredibly well appointed and if it wasn't for the instruction email going into Junk Mail which was found after we checked out we wouldn't have embarrassed ourselves trying to get access. The Manager on the phone however was incredibly polite and supportive. The amenities were nothing short of outstanding, the Tontine towels along with the complimentary body wash etc was pure gold, the dining chairs so comfortable, the bathroom very well lit and road noise was minimal for a room at the front of the building. This apartment is simply 5 Star. N/A

- Paul (10/5): Grant went over and beyond when the aircon was playing up. We loved the location and we’ll go back there again for a sta - The location is perfect. Close to a train station, lots of cafes and fast food. The aircon was a bit glitchy. Everything else worked just fine!

Grant( the manager / owner ) was really helpful when the internet stopped working and sorted it straight away. The property was very small as was the sofa.
Being as I am only short I found it difficult to reach the China which was in very high cupboards and also the microwave which was above the fridge.
The location wasn’t ideal.
There was no lift in the property which wasn’t ideal when you have heavy luggage and I am 62 years old
So although I am quite fit it was still a struggle.

- Paula (8/5): Great stay, would definitely rebook and ask for a room not near the road. - The property was in a great location, close to trams, trains, buses, restaurants and a great pub around the corner! Clean and good facilities, the owner was very helpful. The room I stayed in was way too noisy as it was near the road, which was busy all the time, besides that nothing else was wrong with the property.

Easy walking distance to restaurants and other shopping options. Quick train trip to the city. Compact space but set out well and loads of natural light which made it very comfortable to stay.
