• Will (7/5): - Minor things - Entry details were not in the portal as was explained but found them on the WhatsApp conversation. 2 lock box codes were sent so some confusion. Car parking info for the free space would be better worded as 'at the bottom of the steps' as 'opposite' was confusing and space not clearly marked. Major thing - fold out bed was extremely uncomfortable

• Despoina (9/5): Would recommend this apartment, considering the cleanliness, communication, and value for money. - We stayed at City Sparrow Nest – 4C Apartment in London at the end of November 2025, three friends travelling together. At first, we were a bit worried after reading some previous reviews, especially regarding the condition of the rooms and the security deposit, as the payment process was done through an external link and we were unsure if the deposit would be fully refunded. In the end, everything went very smoothly and our concerns were unnecessary. The apartment was very clean, warm, and seemed recently renovated. It was well equipped, and even included a hairdryer, which I had asked about in advance and was happy to find in the room. The location was quite convenient, with frequent bus connections and relatively easy access to central London. Communication with the hosts was excellent throughout our stay. Although we did not meet them in person, they were always polite, responsive via Booking messages, and even checked in during our stay to see if we needed anything. The instructions for key collection via a locker were very detailed and easy to follow. As for the security deposit, it was returned after the room inspection, exactly within the timeframe they had initially mentioned, since no damages occurred. The only minor drawbacks were that the sofa bed, where one of our friends slept, was not very comfortable and felt quite hard. It might be better to provide a proper third bed when triple rooms are booked. Additionally, the building is located in an inner courtyard and the exterior area was quite dark at night due to insufficient lighting, which made us feel a bit uneasy. Adding exterior lights or a spotlight would greatly improve this. We were also slightly concerned about safety, as the main entrance door of the building did not lock properly — this is something that should ideally be fixed. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and a positive experience, and we would recommend this apartment, especially considering the cleanliness, communication, and value for money.

• Rodney (3/5): Breathless - What breakfast?proximity to where I needed to be. The elevator (lift) not working, at 79 years of age with health issues walking up those stairs to the 3rd floor with luggage after a journey was diabolical, even without luggage I struggled, the entrance when I first arrived was confusing thanks to Carol she found me outside. No toaster.

• Ian (5/5): Not as advertised - It was clean and had ample crockery etc Advertised with free parking and cctv which is why we picked it however free parking is none existent and we have now been slapped with £100 fine as we didn’t realise we had to pay until too late. Wi-Fi none existent. Kitchen cupboard door’s didn’t fit properly. Flooring needed replacing. Fire alarm battery needed replacing in the hallway outside our apartment. Beeped continually while we there. Mattress badly in need of replacing. Sofa bed was ok for a child but would have been uncomfortable for an adult
