Guest Reviews
- Stuart (9/5): Convenience with great entertainment options. - Instructions pre-arrival were easy to follow and picking up the key and accessing the parking was simple. Location of the apartment was great with a good range of bar and dining options on the doorstep and easy access to the city centre if needed. The apartment itself was basic but comfortable and had all the amenities for a short stay. Would certainly stay again for another weekender. Nothing to dislike really. Basic amenities and nothing elaborate but it did the job.
- Thi Hoang Hai Tran (10/5): - The owner is kind and patient.
The place is closed to center which have lots of shop, restaurant.
Everything is clean, neat and cute. The owner didn't want to charge us extra money! We wanted to pay him more but he refused to take it!
Im just joking, really appreciated his kindly and support!😂😂😂
- Rachel (7/5): Location was on point - Location was ideal
The room was~mostly~pristine clean~just one problem that really made me feel anxious!!
The mini video tutorial was awesome n kinda fun to watch The collection~seriously it was ALOT~of human nails gathered on the carpet alongside the bed in second bedroom!!!
Vacuuming it made me cringe from the sounds!!! That’s how much was on the floor!! There was no way I could sleep in that room
N it was disappointing because the property had met all my expectations with its brightness n cleanliness….up until bed time!!!
- Sally (8/5): Modern, private, easy care unit in a great location. - Location was excellent. Close to the light rail stop. Light and bright with great views. Uncluttered, cosy and efficient heating/cooling. Proximity to a range of restaurants. The lock box could be challenging at night as it was at ground level.
- Ronnie (6/5): - Location The kitchen had old dish washing cloth and smelt. The hand towels had an oily smell. The AC was struggling to work. Tea bags were left on a bowl in open air. No coffee pods, the salt and sugar came from a bag that had stains. It just needed a container! Towels were left in the dryer. It wasn't hygienic at all. The pillows werent comfortable and 1 single bed, the sheets and pillows had a smell.

- Michael (6/5): Location is everything, if ya like a hard bed this is your place - Location was amazing. The beds are horrible, so rock hard no one slept hardly the whole time and we left very tired and one person had a sore back
- Cory (10/5): Best stay in Canberra - Stayed a few times with this host and will only stay with them into future Canberra stays. They are helpful place is all you need and just the best Nothing it's placed well next to Dickson food hub Coles and Woolies local pool transport and on the corridor to everything
- Wendy (9/5): Good - Locality, spacious, amenities good Couldn’t work out air conditioners and no manuals supplied for appliances
- Sayyam (6/5): - Location Accessibility
- Zac (4/5): - Having a two bed apartment near the Canberra city centre, very secure car parking plenty of room shower dirty kitchen dirty lounge needed replacing no top sheet on the bed, no milk on arrival for tea or coffee

- Erin (10/5): - Great location, spacious and very clean room

- Tam (10/5): -
- Ganqin (8/5): -
- Khairil (10/5): -
- Yudan (8/5): Convenient location ; clean net, new. The only problem is no air conditioning in the 2nd bedroom - Very convenient location There is no air conditioning in the 2nd bedroom. The quilt is too thick, very hot.
- Nobbs (8/5): Great - Clean central, easy to get to, There could have been better instructions on how to get rid of the rubbish - had to find an outside bin.
There could have been more washing up liquid - minor things though
- Nix90 (7/5): -
- Philip (9/5): -
- Beverley (8/5): location/facilities ticked all the boxes for the purpose of our stay - Had trouble downloading instructions to computer/tablet/phone which had instructions of where to park
- kennneth (7/5): Needs to update the beds. - Once we'd figured out the key and to get into the car park. It was fun to find the car parking space, but the location of the car was right next to the lift which was awesome when you got lots of bags to carry. The location was fabulous. We was goid able to meet up with friends from not far away. Plus we managed to do a bit of shopping whilst in Canberra. The coffee machine didn't work. In fact it was smoking. No tea bags. Well nothing at all really where you could just walk in and make a cup of coffee or tea. Yes I did go shopping to fix this .
Plus, if you've got mobility problems, the beds were awful way too low and uncomfortable. Plus the lounge room. There were only three of us. One person had to sit on a dining room chair . I do feel if they fixed these problems with the beds and the lounge room this would be the ideal place to stay, but until then I definitely look elsewhere.
- Tony (6/5): Just Ok. - Location is great, Little restaurants sure close by and lots of cafes and restaurants just a short away.
It is super Basic accomodation but it is ok for 1 or 2 nights stay if nothing else is available.
Great value but don't expect hotel style ammenities. Super basic beds,
Hard to tell if linen is clean.
White linen, Manchester and towels would give a much better customer experience regards cleanliness.
- Rowena (8/5): Great location - Great location, and clear directions for entry. Spacious apartment, and having two bathrooms with two bedrooms made a stay with family a lot easier. N/A
- Chris (9/5): Great apartment just north of the city - Modern and well appointed
- Lorraine (7/5): - The location was good.
Clean and basic The wifi was not great.
There was no food items , not even milk.
- Ian (10/5): Ideally located for our event and the city - Clean and comfortable, centrally located to shops, cafes and restaurants, with a short walk to Canberras Light Rail System Accessing to property was a little confusing initially but worked it out in the end
- Cory (10/5): Dickson Canberra stay - The stay was close to where I needed to be . Amenities well thought out will likely repeat the stay in future Might have been us but we couldn't get the tv to play Netflix but that didn't matter in the end
- Sanjeev (8/5): -
- Konstantinon (6/5): Close to Chinatown, spacious with a nice view - Spacious with a nice view.
Close to shopping and restaurants.
Fully equipped kitchen. Located on a busy and noisy main road which made it difficult to sleep.
On the second day of our stay the Internet wasn’t working and I had no way to restart the modem.
Also on the second day and shower was warm and not hot enough to make the shower comfortable.
Car park is difficult to locate and navigating the car park was not possible without watching the provided video.
Coffee machine provided was nice but there was no tea or milk provided.

- Julie (9/5): This unit had everything supplied & was in a great location close to tram, restaurants & grocery shop - This unit had everything supplied & was in a great location close to tram, restaurants & grocery shops,
On the 5th floor it had a lovely outlook Supplying blankets as an option to doona & better pillows
- David (10/5): - Excellent apartment.
Very clean. All good.
- Clarissa (9/5): Convenient and practical - We brought our breakfast with us The bed was smallish and sagged a bit. A box of tissues would be good if available.
- Dominik (8/5): -
- Greg (8/5): 2B2B Apartment in Dickson - Clean, spacious, great location, good for families, good safe/secure/convenient parking, good access to local shops and food outlets. Host had excellent communication and information to access residance. Unfortunately the provided coffee pods didn't fit the in-house machine and the main bed was not as comfortable as we were hoping for, but ok. In all in we were very happy with our stay.
- Anil (8/5): - Finding parking spot was nightmare
- Paul (9/5): -
- Anissa (9/5): -
- Ricky (10/5): Great location and views. Clean and modern property -
- Stuart (9/5): Superb -
- Dean (3/5): Don’t stay here is you expect a legitimate motel booking or any help from the property. - The room was clean, comfortable enough, and within walking distance to Dickson shops. It’s just a private apartment being rented out via Booking.com. It’s not a motel. There is no reception desk. No office. They never answer their mobile phone number provided for assistance. And they have refused to provide me with a receipt despite numerous requests. Dodgy.
Finding the lockbox with the key was a lot like Geocaching. The lockbox was tiny. If it wasn't for the photo in the instructions provided I would never have found it.
One other thing was that the instructions never mentioned explicitly that the Unit number was No. 52. We got inside the foyer and had no idea where to go. We eventually figured it out by trying the lockbox code.
There were also no instructions about where we could and could not park in the underground parking. We suspect we may have parked in front of some random strangers lockable storage unit in the basement.
- Mohammad (8/5): Very good - Local & facilities Communicate with the owner. A phone number was given but no one bother to reply back or call back for any inquiry.
- Yin (8/5): Very good -
- Quang (9/5): Great stay for family. - Fantastic for our family with 2 kids, roomy; fully equipped kitchen with free parking and wifi. Public transport close by, a few eateries around the building. Very good value. Not much, minor gripe with the water pooling near the drain in the ensuite.
- Patel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Georgina (8/5): A clean and convenient location next to the light rail. - It had two bedrooms and was conveniently located. Parking was complicated but a useful video was provided.
The apartment was very sparse with no decoration. No clutter is great but a plant or picture would be nice.
- Andrew (2/5): A sparsely furnished unit that is self managed by the owner - The unit was a resonable size for 4 persons. There was a lack of furnishings in the unit. The bedrooms contained only beds, no side tables for personal items or lamps. In one of the bedrooms a standard lamp was jambed between the bedhead and the wall. In the Kitchen/lounge area, a two seated sofa seated was provided (there were 4 of us) , two chairs at the kitchen breakfast bar & a very small caffe type table with 4 four chairs to one side. A circular metal coffee table, large enough for 3 glasses, was next to the sofa. The airconditioning unit took about 5 hours to heat up the area. There was no airconditioning in one of the bedrooms. The beds were about 10cm up from the floor (so people with asthma should be warned). The curtins were very thin (not any good for keeping out the cold) and seemed to have plastic attached to the back of the curtin. The WIFI didnt work as the code (which was written on piece of paper stuck to a cupboard) was indecipherable. The towels etc provided were very thin & old & there were not towels in the kitchen & no bath mat in the Ensuite. The only bed covers were doonas. It appeared that other bed coverings were chained up in a linen cupboard. To find the unit allocated car parking area required mobile phone video link. When we arrived at 4.00pm, after a long drive to Canberra, the unit had not been serviced - rubbish was everywhere, the bed sheets had been well used and there were no towels etc. I contacted the owner who asked me to vacate the unit for 2 hours for cleaning purposes (no other replacement unit was available). The owner promised $25 each so we could wander around and have a drink (it was minus 2 degrees outside). We returned to the unit at 7.00pm. The refund has NOT yet been received.
- Inocentes (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (9/5): Superb -
- Tarnia (9/5): Superb - It was clean, spacious, everything was as described
- Jerry (9/5): Superb - location is convenient: close to restaurants, supermarkets and tram and buses are right outside the building. easy to Check-in & Check-out. rooms were clean and tidy. car park is safe. car park space is very narrow and a bit detour to find it.
- Oguz (8/5): Very good -
- Russell (9/5): Comfortable stay - It is a generously sized 2 bed apartment with 2 good sized bathrooms. The bathrooms were both supplied with shampoo and body wash. Plenty of room in the showers. There is also a laundry with washer and dryer plus washing detergent supplies. There is an IGA store at the base of the building along with a number of eateries and coffee outlets. There is also Coles and Woolworths nearby with numerous other eateries. The beds are comfortable. With the light rail out front it is an easy ride into the CBD. Being adjacent to a main road it was quite noisy. Needed to close all windows and exterior doors at night before going to bed. Everything thing was generally provided in the kitchen except that there was only some green tea bags and no milk not even a small container of long life milk. We did not have a car so the entry was remote and located centrally on the building adjacent to the main road. Not obvious when approaching from the rear of the building where the key lock was located.
- Richard (9/5): Good location with light rail at the door so easy to move around - n/a n/a
- Khan (10/5): Exceptional - location and cleanliness staff was uncontactable on phone
- Richard (9/5): Superb -
- Kumudu (8/5): Very good - Only problem was getting to the property, as the access code and video was sent on the previous day - there was no time to watch the video - it was very hard to get it to the property and find the particular parking spot, actually I was stuck in the lift for appro 20 mints and had to called the body corperate to send the lift technicain at mid nignt .That was painfull .
- Du (5/5): Passable -
- Hiroshi (9/5): Superb -
- Janice (10/5): Exceptional - Apartment was very clean. Best location and safe. Really worth for money. I really enjoyed.
- Nikki (10/5): Very comfortable stay - Spacious modern apartment, plenty of room for our family. Great location, easy accessibility. The host gave fantastic instructions for check-in, best I've seen thus far. Communication was great. Not a big issue but a bigger bed in the master would help for taller guests.
- Gavan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ming (9/5): Superb -
- Kathryn (9/5): Very Comfortable Exiting the carpark was a nightmare - N/A The exit from the car park was very challenging due to no signs showing the way our
- Cathie (8/5): Good place but more attention needed on cleanliness. - Convenient location with Tram and restaurants right close by. Not a very thorough cleaning.
The kitchen counter and sink were not properly cleaned. Shelves in the walk-in closet were covered in dust. Ensuite bathroom sink spout was not cleaned, toothpaste spit on the tap, was gross.
- Tao (10/5): Exceptional -
- Letitia (8/5): Very good - Location was great. Parking secure. Communication with host regarding key location etc was great too Unfortunately there was no hot water for showers on the last morning.... we left super early so didn't bother alerting the host at the time. A few extra pillows to pick from would've been nice too. Overall great value for money and location was great.
- Pasindu (9/5): Overall the stay was very good - Excellent location in the heart of Canberra. Comfortable rooms. Beautiful views of the city with the balcony. Guidelines to enter the property were not in order
- Phil (8/5): Very good -
- Miles (8/5): Very good - Clean and convenient, well appointed. Double bed too small for a couple
- Mcintosh (9/5): Superb - Excellent location. Well equipped
- Worner (7/5): Good - Cleanliness
Spacious
Quiet Only green tea bags
Coffee was ordinary
Bed too low
- Daniel (8/5): Good stay - Everything, except the WiFi. The internet that wasn’t working at all, even though I sent an sms and a message to the host on Booking.com they never got back to me. That was a disappointment and the only reason I don’t rate this place higher.
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Xueqin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jill (9/5): Great location and clean. - Location was great, close to Dickson shops and the light rail train was at the front of the building. Wonderful view over the suburbs towards Black Mountain. There are loads od restaurants in Dickson and two
Big supermarkets also within walking distance. IGA in on the ground level of the building. Parking was easy, and right by the elevator, which was great as we had a wheelchair user with us. Blackout Curtains would be better to keep the heat out. It was really hot while we were there, and one bedroom
Didn’t have air conditioning, so we had to keep the one in The lounge room on top n the hope it would cool the bedroom. A larger sofa, or extra sofa is needed. The sofa seats 2-3, but we were 4 people which meant some
People had to sit at the dining table.
- Gary (8/5): Once we got in every thing was fine. - N/A The lock box. We found a Lock Box on the fence and put the code in and the box was empty. We rang the number and after a long time a lady turned up and found the key in a different box. This took nearly an hour after arriving. I told the person on the phone that I was not happy and he said that they would give me a 10% discount for our inconvenience. So far I have not seen any refund.
