Guest Reviews
- Pero (10/5): Excellent! - The hosts were very friendly and helpful, the accommodation is in a great location close to the metro, shops and restaurants. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, and the apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!
- Ioan (9/5): It was very good, although Rome is the city that seemed to me to have the most unruly traffic. - Kind host who waited for us in the apartment. Another apartment was under repair and no one warned us about the noise we experienced.
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful location, great residential neighborhood right near Metro. Apartment felt like home, very friendly and accommodating hosts.
- Jodie (10/5): Exceptional - The Hosts were very friendly and welcoming.
They personally met us at the accomodation and told us where to find everything ie) supermarket, metro, best food places. Sent me metro lines. Ordered our taxi to take us back to hotel. Any question I asked they promptly replied.
We had an amazing stay. Its in a great location. 2 min walk from the metro so very easy to get around everywhere.
I would definitely recommend to anyone
Thank you for having us
- Josiah (10/5): Family trip to Rome - The location is in very close proximity to everything you might want to see and taste in Rome. Metro station is nearby and the surrounding area has a lot of character. Locals were very friendly.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - great location, metro station was 3 minutes walk
- Andrew (8/5): A great location from which to explore Rome, Ostia Antica, Tivoli, Naples and so much more. - A 2 Passi dal Cuore di Roma was a very convenient and comfortable, IKEA style, apartment on the fifth floor with a lift. It is very close to Garbatella on the Metro B lines: the stations Garbatella ~ Piramide ~ Circo Maximo ~ Colloseo ~ Termini give quick and easy access to almost all of the main attractions in Rome. It was simple to change to the A line at Termini for The Vatican. One stop south at Basilica di San Paolo was a transfer to the “Lido” train which took us to Ostia Antica and the sea-side. Both Termini and Roma Ostiense had Regional trains which took us to Fumicino and to Tivoli. Termini provided a fast train (70 mins) to Naples allowing a day out there. Garbatella is an up-and-coming neighbourhood with lots of cafes, restaurants and shops (Carrefour and Todis among others). Paolo and his wife were charming and helpful hosts. Would have liked a washing machine but there were lots of service wash options nearby which were good.
- Timothy (9/5): A great base for a family visiting Rome - This was a spacious apartment with plenty of room for a family. Despite our plane being delayed and arriving after midnight, our hosts stayed to let us in and show us all the facilities. The apartment was a 3 minute walk from the nearest underground station and there were plenty of bars, restaurants and supermarkets near the apartment and a convenient laundromat on the way to the station. The apartment block was clearly the height of fashion when it was built (we guessed in the 60's) with an elevator to our floor and lots of wood paneling. We loved it but if you aren't a fan of 60's decor or are looking for something with clean contemporary lines, this probably isn't going to be your first choice. It's just outside of the normal touristy areas of Rome but we saw that as a plus not a minus.
