Guest Reviews
- Sheree (8/5): Great value, next to monash hospital. -
- Sue (8/5): Great location close to hospital - Location, comfortable bed and helpful host.
- Elvina (5/5): It is what it is for how much it is. - It was definitely awkward trying to navigate from the driveway to the front door as there wasn’t a actual pathway and the very Iittle parts of the paved pathway that could be stepped on (as opposed to walking on mud/ dirt) was unfortunately blocked off as it was being used to house unsightly rubbish bins.
Guessing the mattress has also seen better days, perhaps time for a new one.
- Vanessa (7/5): Would stay here again if our appointments are near here again - Great location
Good size
Good amount of everything Spit system didn’t give heat
Very cold night would have been nicer if we could have been warmer
There were space heaters available just didn’t give us a comfortable environment but was better than nothing
- Sir anthony (5/5): - Been Waking up by the noise from builders and workmen and machinery at 6:30am in the morning as the properties is opposite building site which wasn’t mentioned
- Tara (7/5): - Location was perfect for our purpose. Spacious enough. Unit was tidy. It was a little dirty. A lot of cobwebs. Lots of finger marks on doors and cupboards. Also reverse cycle does not heat at all.
- Kelly (1/5): Save your money! WAY too expensive for the very poor quality. Disgusting! - The location was okay, was a short walk to train station and right next to Monash hospital The bathroom roof was running consistent water while it was raining from a hole next to light, there was a leak in the laundry also, we had seen a cap from a needle on the ground behind the toilet which we did not clean up ourselves as it’s not our bathroom, the kitchen was oily and dirty. The bath tub looks like it hadn’t been cleaned for years, some sort of rust or blood or something. There wasn’t a lot that was clean about the place. We were so u happy I have spoken to VCAT this morning. Don’t recommend to anyone! Dirty and nasty! Absolute rip off.
- Paulena (10/5): -
- Georgia (3/5): It could be a really decent little unit if it was taken care of properly - The location I don’t think they have ever cleaned the stove top, the microwave wasn’t cleaned. Didn’t trust that the dishes were cleaned properly so didn’t use any.
My sheets weren’t clean.

- bianca (1/5): -
- Angelo (1/5): - I never got to stay he wasn’t ready for new client to book it
- Lesley (3/5): Ultimately the location was perfect, however the unit was filthy! - The location was the only reason we continued our stay at this property. The property was filthy, both the kitchen and bathroom were not cleaned. Grease over kitchen benches, utensils and appliances. The shower had grime and mould, bath tub had bugs and grit as well as stained, dead bugs in bathroom and under and behind appliances confirming that benches hadn’t been wiped, cobwebs throughout the unit, bedding linen and pillows were stained, the biggest issue was the refrigerator did not cool food to a safe temperature (ice creams melted in the freezer) we ended up purchasing a bar fridge to keep our food and medication at a safe food storage temperature as we had an 11 night stay.
- Lizvean (10/5): AHOYS Hospitalities Review - I like that it has all the same features that was here the first time I was visiting a few years back. No Bluetooth connected Speaker only auxiliary but no cord to be able to connect to the Bluetooth and the laser lights are a bit old and damaged not working properly.
- Amanda (5/5): - Location to hospital. Didnt realise it was only double bed. The room only just fitted the bed with no room to walk around bed or for luggage. Tap in bathroom was running continually. Mouldy shower and rust spots on bath.
- Meagan (1/5): -
- Leti (5/5): -
- Sayed (8/5): -
- Lipman (9/5): Was a medical trip. - Close to the children’s hospital very convenient One maintenance needed. Dripping tap in bathroom
- Leny (5/5): -
- Kartik kumar (10/5): -
- Ying (6/5): - Good location The bed is not comfortable
- Tracy Cotterrell (6/5): Great Location, Cleanliness definitely needs addressing - This location was great. It was only minutes from the Monash Children's Hospital. It wasnt very clean
- Debra (8/5): Great location and comfortable place to stay if your looking for a place to stay in Clayton - Location was excellent Wish there was more light in the rooms
- Sara (5/5): it was good enough for what we were there for - The closeness to where we had to go. It was very close to the doctors There was no coffee or UHT Milk, the floors weren't very clean, they were sticky, and the heater was dirty. there was dust everywhere
- Saikat (4/5): Disappointing - Cleanness
- Zack (7/5): Good -
- Andy (5/5): Passable -
- Alan (3/5): Suited my needs as close to hospital. Owner friendly and helpful with advice on local amenities. - Location very close to Monash Hospital and Monash Children's Hospital. Food and basic necessities were available in both Hospitals. Free wifi available and heat pump worked well. Accommodation very dated. Outside front garden housing old moldy and weather damaged lounge suit. Kitchen top covered in old burnt food and towels in bathroom past sell by date. All appliances well used, and the interior fixtures and fittings dated.
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - Big space, helpful owner and
close to hospital location for us
- Sharifah (9/5): Superb -
- Selina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Roz (6/5): The location was perfect - TheMaintainance of the property eg power points not working, traps dripping. Stove filthy and old furniture that needs to be removed it could attract rats and other pests
- Yvens (8/5): It was great for a last minute bookin and very close to the Hospital. - Very close to Monash Hospital.
- Mahdi (1/5): Bad -
- Monica (10/5): Exceptional - Everything it was comfortable I will be coming back
- Christine (5/5): Has potential. - Comfortable beds. Great size. Has potential to be great accommodation if owners give it a good clean. Raised a couple issues with staff and feedback was positive so hope they address them. Very professional responses. Very dirty. Looks like it hasn't had more than a quick wipe down for years. Bedding was very clean though. Noisy all night due to being beside the hospital. Bedrooms a bit hot.
- Troy (7/5): Good -
- Bandboy (5/5): good communication but unit needs work - proximity to suburbs condition of unit and second bedroom. We since paid more to rent the master
- Nicholas (8/5): Over all peaceful and relaxing stay - I liked how quiet and peaceful it was. How abit untidy and not very clean it was
- Wenqian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aaron (5/5): Convenient but disappointing. - Was next to the hospital The bath room bath was dirty and roof was leaking. The bed was uncomfortable and the coffee pod machine didn't work.
- Shane (10/5): Definitely go back - Everything comfortable good beds good shower Nothing
- John (7/5): Pleasant stay, easy access and close to our main destination. - The location was handy. It was quiet yet easy to access. Keys easy to get. Linen was clean and fresh and beds were comfortable. Easy to find. The living area had the smell of cooking fat and kitchen walls and cupboards needed a good clean.
- Olivia (1/5): Bad - Never answered never refunded never respond to text, house was trashed beds filthy bath blood in it. Horrible home and horrible host. Everything was filthy and they stole our money
