• Emma (9/5): Loistava näkymä ja sijainti! - Sijainti oli täydellinen: ei kaikista vilkkaimmalla kadulla ja ihanat kanaalinäkymät olohuoneen ja makuuhuoneen ikkunoista. Asunto oli siisti ja hyvin varusteltu. Henkilökuntaa emme nähneet kertaakaan, mutta palvelu sujui hyvin viestien välityksellä ja saimme hyvin neuvoja, esim. miten saapua lentokentältä helpoiten. Meitä oli 4, mutta pyyhkeitä oli vain kahdelle. Huomasimme tämän vasta illalla ja meille tarjouduttiin tuomaan pyyhkeet aamulla, mutta olimme silloin lähdössä, joten pärjäsimme ilman. Talossa ei ole hissiä, mikä saattaa joillekin olla ongelma.

• Huber (9/5): Perfect place to stay for great value! - It was a small quaint little apartment that had everything we needed. Our host Laura let us check in early so we didn’t have to check our bags somewhere. It was clean and had everything we needed! It was close enough to San Marco that it was an easy walk but far enough away that you didn’t have to deal with the noise of the crowds. Overall I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Italy! It could get a little warm at night but she had a fan along with AC to help cool down.

• Katharina (7/5): Tolle Lage mit schöner Aussicht - Tolle Lage mitten an einem kleinen Kanal mit schöner Aussicht aus dem Fenster. Achtung - kein Aufzug! Leider war das Geschirr nicht so sauber und wir haben alle Gläser neu gespült vor der Nutzung.
• Nat Zabel (9/5): - Tolle Lage: außerhalb der Touristenströme, aber doch noch mittendrin (Supermarkt und gute Restaurants um die Ecke) und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in 10 min fußläufig zu erreichen. Die neue, moderne Einrichtung ist auch super. Für große Menschen ist das Apartment Nr. 2 im Dachgeschoss aufgrund der Schrägen und niedrigen Deckenbalken weniger geeignet.

• Amanda (10/5): Relaxing stay in a great location. - First of all, the host was great! Very communicative and informative and generous. She even offered to store our luggage after we checked out before I could ask! The apartment is in a great location. 10 min to Doge’s palace, 10 min to the Rialto bridge and just steps away from restaurants. It’s an easy 10 min walk between 2 water taxi stops too. It faces a church and a canal, but since it’s a little on the outskirts it wasn’t loud and busy. We were given clear instructions on how to get into the apartment. It was clean and very comfortable. We were only in San Marco for 1 night but I wish it were longer just so I could enjoy the space longer. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! Only thing to take note is there is no elevator, it didn’t bother me and my party but just something to note for any with mobility issues.

The host, Laura, was very welcoming and helpful too. Would definitely book again and recommend to friends and family. There was nothing not to like.

• Guest (10/5): Great location, spacious & clean. - Wonderful apartment in a great location with view over canal. Things we loved (everything!) - generous room sizes, air conditioned, modern bathroom with big shower, comfortable bed, very clean, super quiet with windows closed, easy communication, great hosts, restaurants and supermarket close by, 5-10minute walk from St Mark Square. Castello District is a lovely retreat from busy areas close by. We felt very safe and at homfe. -

The host welcomed us on arrival which was a great personal touch and advised on the local area. Water & Prosecco was a lovely welcoming gesture 😊🥂. Great location, close to all the main attractions and not too noisy. Would definitely love to return. 🥰

It’s very well equipped and had a beautiful interior. The location is perfect for visiting the Biennale, everything is within walking distance. The host was very kind and helpful. Super owner! - Great location to explore Venice. 10 min walk from water bus stop near the hospital which was closest arrival point from the airport using Alilaguna Blue Line. 10 min walk in other direction to Arsenale vaporetto stop. Owner Laura was lovely and met us after we arrived and saw us off with a bottle of water on our departure day which was so thoughtful . Had been communicating with her before we arrived and she was so helpful. Fridge stocked with water and prosecco and coffee machine with pods. Spotlessly clean -Two good sized bedrooms. Firm beds and quality linen. Great bathroom with toiletries. Safe to keep valuables in - easy to programme. Handy luggage lockers on ground floor so you could leave cases there to make the most of any last minute sightseeing if your departure time was later in the day. Close to restaurants and little supermarket or small shops which stayed open very late. Quiet apartment. Felt very safe. Photo shows view from apt window. Only fan in second bedroom when air conditioning really was needed as hot - mid June - would be even hotter later in the summer. Typical of Italian properties, limited soft furnishings- one sofa in living area .

• Lindsey (10/5): Venetian bliss - Wow. What a beautiful apartment. The photos, despite being accurate, somehow do not do it justice. It’s huge, well furnished and well equipped, and situated on a gorgeous canal. The location is PERFECT: just busy enough to feel you’re part of the action, whilst being quiet enough to escape the crowds (and to be able to sleep at night!) It’s less than 10 minutes’ walk to San Marco, and there is a good supermarket and a good restaurant each within 2 minutes.

• Irina (9/5): A very nice apartment with a very nice host, I would stay there again. - Great location, walking distance to main attractions. Very nice apartment with big bedrooms, and very quiet. Living room and one of the bedrooms face the canal, overall a very beautiful view. Kitchen and bathroom are very well equipped with all essential stuff. It would be nice to have a coffee table or a side table by the couch in the living room. One bedroom does not have an air conditioner but it was not needed, it was not very hot at the end of May. Bed in one of the bedrooms is a little bit hard, an extra blanket would help (I put the blanket under the sheet and the bed became much more comfortable).

In a great location, right on a canal but a quieter area with restaurants very close by and about 10 minutes walk to St Marks Square. Gave us some free coffee and wine There are free kitchen utensils than we used for our breakfast . The glass that cover when you take a shower is small so when you take shower waters are coming out and the outside floors were getting so wet.

• Jonathan (3/5): EXTREMELY uncomfortable. - Nice location in a residential area away from the crowds. Newly renovated, ours was the smallest apartment on the second floor (no elevator) with two beds up a steep, narrow staircase in the attic. The only views were of roofs. The kitchen had a microwave and dishwasher, but no washing machine. Seating consisted of four hard barstools and a single old, sagging bean bag. Nothing more. We took it in turns to sit in the bean bag which, although uncomfortable, was far more comfortable than being perched on a hard barstool. In the bedrooms the total amount of storage was 8 coat hangers on two bare rails. It was necessary to keep the bathroom light on all night to avoid falling through the unguarded void and down the steep stairs. Genuinely dangerous for small children. This was undoubtedly the MOST UNCOMFORTABLE apartment I have ever stayed in!

Lots of restaurants close by. A small supermarket 2 minutes walk. The apartment is modern, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The host met us and was very friendly and helpful. Nothing to dislike.
• Caroline (7/5): A good 3-days stay in Venice. - Location was good, just 10 minutes walk to everything. Very quiet area at night. The host was friendly and easy to communicate with. Missing smoke detector, fire extinguisher and fire ladder/fire rope. In case of fire in the halllway/appartment, there was no escape ways from 3rd and 4th floor which is the location of the appartment.

The only small issue was the strong smell of cats that occasionally came from outside, which was a bit noticeable. If there’s anything that could be done about that, it would make the stay even more perfect. Otherwise, everything was fantastic, and we truly enjoyed our time here. Check-in was easy and they have a fantastic system where you can leave your bags in the entrance area to pick up later in the day when you check out. Venice is pricey, but this place seemed more or less in line with PQR.
