Guest Reviews
- Leonie (8/5): Good apartment for a group or family in a great location - Clean apartment in a great location, minutes from the station and lots of shops, restaurants and pubs. Stairs certainly keep you fit, there were a lot, but William made that clear before we arrived. Small issue with facilities that was quickly fixed once reported. Minimal toiletries, would have liked some soap in the bathrooms.
- Bruce (10/5): Great spot/ Great hosts! - Great location! 4 stair climb with luggage would be challenging as there is no lift in building, but it’s not really bad at all😊
- Sudha (8/5): - Fantastic location. Well equipped kitchen. Great to have clothes washer and dishwasher with supplies. Also had full spice rack and a few other essentials in the kitchen. Comfortable beds and pillows. No TV channels, only ott. Bugs in the carpet. No lift. Bed a little small for 2 people. Bathroom needs privacy curtains
- Victoria (8/5): - Good Communication from host and Excellent location. Biscuits and milk left which was a nice touch, if it was the host! Used a bag drop facility at Premier Inn a short walk away which was also very handy and very close to the tube station. Great place to crash for a weekend where you will be out and about a lot. Bed wasn't very comfy and the apartment is a bit tired to say its a fairly new conversion, lacking in luxury for a '5 star'. Guess it is used primarily by people travelling for work.
- Amaia (10/5): Spacious, well-kept apartment in perfect location - The apartment was very spacious (we were 5 people), and well-maintained. We didn’t use the kitchen, but looked also complete. Everything else was great. The location was excellent, right next to the underground. The host was very easy to contact and responded quickly.
- Neil (9/5): great location and flat -enjoyed our stay -
- weider (7/5): We enjoyed our stay - Great location and plenty of space to spread out. There’s no air conditioning and apparently that’s common in London, it’s certainly not in the US. It wasn’t an issue because it was very chilly but if it were hotter it would have been a big problem. The beds are pretty firm which is good for some but just something to consider.
- Christine (9/5): Amazing location with responsive, helpful host. - Amazing location! The flat was just as expected - plenty of room for four people. The bathrooms were updated. We had a small issue when we arrived but the host resolved it quickly. I highly recommend! The pillows were a little hard, but everything else was wonderful.
- Anna (10/5): -
- James (8/5): It was fine. - Everything was fine. Carpet was soiled and needs to be cleaned or replaced. Advertisement needs to state that it is a four-floor walk-up, no elevator.
- Vikas (4/5): Overpriced for the value. Very poor value for money. Booking.com should factor in the price before carrying forward the - The location is great. The host tried to help as much as he could but there are fundamental issues with the property. Poorly maintained.
1. Pictures on the site although correct, do not represent the property well. It is rather small.
2. Poor facilities - small beds that creak even if you breathe, old saggy mattresses with springs poking in your back
3. Old pots and pans, unusable for even boiling water.
4. The host actually had the gall to text me at the end to say we didn’t leave the property as expected by him - not sure if he was expecting us to clean it for him?
- Newell (10/5): We loved London and a big part of that was our accommodation. - We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was so lovely, spacious and light. The apartment was very well equipped, and the location was perfect. There was a nice bottle of wine, fresh milk and orange juice in the fridge and everything was clean and comfortable We loved everything!
- Philip (7/5): We enjoyed our stay, easy walk to interesting restaurants, well appointed apartment, close to tube - Great location, spacious apartment, felt homely, both rooms had ensuite facilities, generous welcome pack 3 floor and no lift, glass door on the bathrooms
- Boring (9/5): A wonderful stay in a fabulous location! - The location is wonderful! Very safe, very quiet; great shops nearby. Our host, William, was exceptional! We had a water heater issue while there and he was quick to respond. The situation was repaired within the day. William went above and beyond to help! The beds could have been a bit more comfortable and a few more bath products and towels would be helpful.
- Varda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Behm (10/5): Exceptional - I used to teach in London and have been dreaming of taking my husband and kids back someday. I searched forever to try and find the perfect flat for us and I succeeded! The location, the comfort, the size, the beautiful street. It was everything I had hoped for! Would recommend this to any traveling family. Yes, there are stairs, but it’s worth it.
- Sio (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bernadette (7/5): Clean and cosy appartment in a great location. - Great location with generous sized rooms. Nice and warm. Liked the inclusion of dish washing tablets and washing machines tablets. The main bed was uncomfortable. The 3 flights of stairs was a surprise, was difficult to get our luggage up and down.
- Merry1313 (7/5): Great! - The location is very good. It is a short walk from Earl's Court Tube. Earl's Court has several lines which makes traveling very convenient around London. It is a direct train from Heathrow Airport. Feels like a touristy area. Many small hotels around.
The neighborhood is vibrant and safe. There are many restaurants and eateries around. The room size is comfortable for our family of 5. The host is very responsive. Replies to my messages quickly. I highlighted about the water heater not sufficiently hot; he sends down a technician on the same day to solve the issue. The apartment looks prettier in photos, than in real life. I didn't check properly that the apartment is situated on the 3rd floor. There are about 5-6 flights of stairs to the apartment and the stairs are narrow, typical of the Victorian Houses. Not recommend this apartment if you have young children with multiple luggage.
- Ngkimyong (8/5): Good location and homey place - Homey, full functioning kitchen No lift and moving luggages was a problem
- Andrew (8/5): Great host, great apartment with all the necessary facilities and great location - The location of the apartment The heat was too much and we could not work out how to turn it down.
- Wittawat (9/5): Superb -
- Lee (10/5): Home away from Home in Earl's Court - Contactless entry was very convenient. Two full bathrooms. Grocery stores and tube station are super convenient. Large, bright kitchen with full size fridge and working dishwasher. Plenty of clothes storage space. Lots of windows for daylight, but with darkening drapes for blocking it. Washing machine (with clothes drying rack out of the way in the living room). The living room is quite private from the kitchen and bedrooms (which are down a hallway). Neighborhood is lovely, quiet, and felt safe to walk around in after dark. There is almost zero train noise despite the station being behind the building. There is convenient rental car location in the nearby mall at Fulham-Broadway. Beds are comfortable with lovely linens, but some might deem them on the hard side. Towels were big, nice and fluffy. A desk if you need to work. Plenty of laundry and dishwasher soap, toilet paper, and paper towels were provided. We had a lovely 10 night stay and would come back again. While there were plenty of plates, glassware, and pans, there was not a single mixing bowl, salad bowl, or anything to make and serve dinner in.
The drains in the showers are slow and we had open the drains and clean them out as they would try to overflow.
The windows are all rigged to not open beyond a half inch, but there are fans in each room.
Coat hooks and a place for rainy stuff just inside the door or kitchen would be a great idea.
- Lewis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): Lovely town - Excellent location to the train station and restaurants. It’s up several flights of stairs so beware if you have a lot of luggage
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional - The flat was in a lovely traditional terraced building. Very close to Earl's Court station, eateries and supermarket. The flat was roomy and tastefully decorated. Everything was perfect but there was no lift. Luckily we were travelling with strong men who were able to carry luggage to 3rd floor
