• Ozlem (10/5): - The location was very good, the closest station was 10 min walk and Shinjuku station was a 25 min walk. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, everything was clean and tidy. The host was the best, he let us check in early without any extra charge and gave us a lift to the station at the end of our stay with complimentary drinks. I would definitely stay here again. 👍🙂 Nothing

• 建中 (10/5): - 這次在東京住宿了7天，整體體驗非常令人滿意。房東非常親切，從一開始就給人很溫暖的感覺，還貼心提供附近地鐵站的免費接送服務，讓初到東京的我們省去不少找路與搬行李的麻煩。 房間內的設備也相當齊全，空間乾淨舒適。浴室與廁所是獨立分開的設計，使用起來非常方便，而且還有浴缸可以泡澡。每天在外面走了一整天後，回來泡個熱水澡真的非常放鬆，是這趟旅程中很享受的一部分。 此外，住宿還提供可以開伙的廚房設備，基本的廚具都很齊全，如果想自己簡單煮點東西也很方便。房內也有獨立的洗衣機與洗衣工具，對於連住幾天的旅客來說非常實用。 住宿環境也相當安靜，休息品質很好，而且地點也很方便，步行大約10分鐘就能抵達地鐵站，無論是前往市區景點或購物都十分便利。 整體來說，這次7天的住宿體驗非常良好。不僅住得舒適，房東也非常熱心，是一個讓人會想再次回訪的地方。如果下次還有機會再到東京旅遊，這裡一定會是我的住宿首選。 I stayed here for 7 days during my trip to Tokyo, and the overall experience was excellent. The host was extremely kind and welcoming from the very beginning. They even provided free pick-up and drop-off service to the nearby subway station, which was very helpful when we first arrived with our luggage. The room was well-equipped and very comfortable. One thing I especially appreciated was that the bathroom and toilet were separated, making it very convenient to use. There was also a bathtub, which was perfect for relaxing after a long day of walking around the city. The accommodation also included kitchen facilities, allowing guests to cook if they wished. Basic cooking utensils were provided, which made it easy to prepare simple meals. In addition, there was a private washing machine and laundry tools available in the room, which was extremely convenient for a longer stay. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, making it a great place to rest. At the same time, the location was still very convenient, with a subway station about a 10-minute walk away, making it easy to travel around Tokyo. Overall, the 7-day stay was a wonderful experience. The comfortable environment and the host’s hospitality made the trip even more enjoyable. If I have the chance to visit Tokyo again in the future, this place will definitely be my first choice for accommodation.

The location was amazing, a 10 min walk to the train station and only 5 mins to the bus stop. The bed was so comfortable and the apartment is in such a quiet place. As a solo traveller it also felt incredibly safe. Host was also very accommodating and helpful. Nothing. I loved it all.

• María (10/5): Un anfitrión de 10 - Lo mejor del alojamiento: el anfitrión. Es una persona extremadamente servicial que nos hizo la estancia lo más cómoda y agradable posible. Incluso nos llevó las maletas a la estación de metro el día que nos íbamos, y nos regaló unas botellas de agua para el camino. El alojamiento tenía todo lo necesario para que tu estancia sea lo mejor posible, la cama es muy cómoda, probablemente la más cómoda de todo el viaje, y tiene un pequeño patio muy agradable. El anfitrión es muy atento y está disponible para lo que necesites. No le pondría ninguna pega al alojamiento.

• Daniel (10/5): Real Japanese Home Experience - An amazing little Japanese style home with all amenities needed including a washing machine. The owner even drove me to the subway station in the rain which was such a big help... Location is good too! Some random appliance was a bit noisy during the night but may not bother anyone else.

Mr Yang picked us up from the nearest train station and even dropped us off after we checked out (honestly unheard of in tokyo). He also shared with us some personal recommendations and food nearby, which is amazing :) The apartment is fully equipped (kitchen, washer), very clean and even boosted a balcony outside, which is really rare as well for the price and location. It is less than 10 mins walk to shin obuko station which is at the main yamanote JR line, 15mins walk to shinjuku. Nil- really nothing that we didnt like!

We could sleep very peacefully but when we wanted to get to loud bar it was 10 min away by walk. Shinjuku center was 25 min by walk or possible to take subway 1 station only.
• Jakub (10/5): Our honeymoon in Tokyo and Kyoto. - Our honeymoon in Tokyo and Kyoto was FANTASTIC! The host undoubtedly contributed to this. He provided excellent conditions for our stay. He guaranteed cleanliness in the rooms, the availability of essentials for everyday use, and... efficient air conditioning! In temperatures exceeding 35 degrees Celsius, the approximately 25 degrees Celsius provided in the apartment was a godsend. We are also incredibly grateful that the host picked us up from Shin-Okubo Station and offered a ride to the convenient train or subway station for Haneda Airport. What's more, in the morning, before our return trip to Europe, we were treated to cold, good coffee and water for the journey—for us, this kind gesture is something special. Finally, we must also greatly appreciate the host's warmth, kindness, openness, and willingness to help. My wife and I have never experienced such hospitality while traveling together outside our home country. Japan is wonderful!

The apartment was very typically Japanese ie. very compact which we expected but had most everything we could need. It was an easy walk to Ōkubo and Shin-Okubo stations The owner generously offered a ride back to the station on departure but sadly as it was very early could not do so but generously gave us 1000 yen towards a taxi The owner does not speak much English at all so we needed to converse via the app or face to face with him using a translation app. This led to a little misunderstanding initially
• Elise (10/5): Amazing stay, didn't want to leave! - The reviews say a lot about this place. I thought it would be a nice stay, but this place exceeded my expectations. The location is ideal, close to two stations and close to many food places including a Korea Town, but far enough where it is not loud and is a very pleasant residential area. There are also many convenience stores, a supermarket, and some pharmacies nearby. The owner is extremely nice and offers to bring you to and from the station upon arrival and departure. The place is also very clean and well maintained with many amenities including but not limited to combs, toothbrushes, and a washing machine.

About 20 minutes easy walk to central Shinjuku and close to 3 train stations. 10 minutes walk to very good Olympic supermarket. Excellent value for money and much better than a hotel room. Nothing all great.

Super well located for visiting Shinjuku and Shibuya areas - I was able to walk back from Golden Gai in the evening! Flat is very well-equipped, clean and comfy. The owner also gave me a lift down to Shinjuku station when leaving which was very convenient. Nothing comes to mind.

The close access to the subway and train lines allowed easy travel to the whole of Tokyo. It's very well equipped with a kitchenette and a small garden. And while it doesn't have the grandeur of staying in a hotel, the facilities are nice and the bed and layout of the apartment were very comfortable. It felt very suited to a longer stay. Mr Yang himself is an incredible and generous host who will chauffeur to and from JR Okubo Station and help with any issues or questions you have about Tokyo with a smile and his handy translator. I felt safe and supported the entire time as a solo female traveller. I'd one hundred percent choose to stay at Mr. Yang's if I visit Tokyo again. Highly recommended.

• Hsuanchieh (9/5): A cozy hideaway a step from the bustling streets of Okubo - Mr. Yang's apartment is a very cozy one conveniently located in the North Shinjuku Area. It's also very well equipped with a kitchenette and a small garden if you feel like a staycation. Mr. Yang himself is a very friendly host, chauffeuring me from and to the JR Okubo Station. I'd one hundred percent choose to stay at Mr. Yang's if another staycation in Tokyo is happening. Highly recommended.

If to hard do not offer it. - Property as described, location good with plenty of shops nearby, comfortable bed with a nice little outdoor section. Very quiet neighbourhood. Unfortunately we did not get the warm welcome recieved when checking in, instead where greeted by an angry and frustrated host shaking his head in disgust on arrival. Confused and unsure as to why we recieved this unique welcoming after a long overnight flight and severe airport delays, we found out the reason for the above behavior. The host had decided he would make his own pick-up time, sending information that apparently we should had followed giving him the exact time "he" wanted to pick us up at. We had NOT agreed nor supplied a time for this pick-up service and check-in instructions clearly state a time of 14:00 or after. I understand offering a free pick-up/drop-off service is convienant and appreciated by travellars, however leaving guests feeling so uncomfortable is not a great first impression for your business.

• Vella (8/5): Clean, safe and convenient stay with close access to public transport, shops, and wonderfully accommodating hosts that o - It was clean, and felt safe and secure, which was especially important and comforting as a solo female traveller. The apartment, while small, was more than accommodating for the week that I stayed, with the kitchenette, washing machine and separated toilet and shower was extremely handy and convenient. It also came with a double bed, high ceilings and a small outdoor patio which I didn’t use, but definitely made the space feel bigger. Although this was not an issue for me, some first-time Japan travellers may prefer a more scenic location with views of the city. This area is definitely more suburban, but still only a short distance away from public transport and shops.

Highly recommended. - Location was considered very good at Kita-Shinjuku, which is walking distance to 3 train stations Okubo and Shin-Okubo, as well to Higashi-Nakano. The amenities were complete, with bathroom with bathtub that acts as a clothes drying room using the ventilator, washing machine, separate toilet, kitchen (if you plan to cook), aircon, as well as WiFi. Nearby the location, there are countless eateries, convenience stores, supermarket, drug store that you will pass by everyday to and fro the train stations. The owner also picks us up from the train station when checking-in, as well as sending us to Shinjuku station after our stay. Very nice and thoughtful of him. Overall, it is a excellent stay. Although it is near to the 2 stations mentioned, it is still about about a 600m or 900m walk respectively to Okubo and Shin-Okubo. People that don't like to walk a lot may not like it.

Bed mattress was a little worn down. There was a sunking bit in the middle of our mattress. Saying that though, the host had other rooms so the beds in the other room may be better. The kitchen area wasn't the cleanest. The sink strainer and kitchen hood needed a change. Those are the only things I can fault.
• Skye (10/5): Live like a local - Great to experience what it's like to live in a Tokyo apartment. The host is a lovely gentleman who kindly picked us up from the train station and then held our bags after checkout and delivered them to us. Good location on the edge of Shinjuku but Shin-Okubo is an easier station to navigate on the Yamanote loop line for those using JR passes. Plenty of hospitality and retail right around the apartment.

• Samir (10/5): I had such a wonderful stay in Tokyo here - Super nice and cozy small apartment. The owner is incredibly nice and accommodating. Nice location.
• Ruby (10/5): This is the only place i will stay whenever i will visit tokyo. Highly recommended - We had an awesome stay. The house is fully equipped, spacious and very clean. The host is very kind and easily contacted. He also ensures that guests will be comfortable during the entire course of the trip, helps with transporting luggages, to/from the airport.
• Michael (10/5): Comfy location with loads to explore for us nightowls - Great location. Easy access. The owner gave us a lift to Shin-Okubo on the morning of our departure so we could catch a connecting train. He even gave us some snacks and soft drinks for the trip.❤️ 10 minute stroll to Okubo Station. The station is a smaller one making it easier to get around Tokyo without getting super lost at bigger stations. We are night owls, so having alot of late night bars, music and 24 hour places to eat was a 👍
• Noelle (7/5): Good - The location is convenient, the host was overly nice and offered to provide us a lot of services. There was free toothbrushes and shampoo for us when we arrived The room was a bit smaller but it’s big for Tokyo.

When you come Japan or leave, he also can take you to Shinjuku west exit, or take you from Shinjuku west exit to house. If you come to Tokyo, it’s your best choice. no
