Petar (1/5): Total tourist trap, avoid! - This is the worst place we’ve ever stayed at. 1. They asked us to cancel our reservation because we had booked a room on a lower floor, and they claimed they would then “move us” to the 5th floor. We canceled (big mistake) and immediately regretted it. 2. There is absolutely no soundproofing, and the hotel is next to an extremely noisy boulevard. 3. The bed sheets were clearly used and not changed — it was obvious someone had slept on them before us. 4. Not once in 15 days did a cleaner come by. The room was already filthy when we received the key, and there were no cleaning supplies to use ourselves. 5. After you pay, they don’t care about you at all. Before that they act very “helpful” — mainly to get your money and push you to cancel your booking. 6. There were ants all over the apartment. 7. They close the entrance shutter after midnight and you have to call to be let in. They don’t always answer the phone. 8. The furniture is in terrible condition. 9. The location is far from everything. Overall, this feels like a complete scam and it’s absolutely not worth booking under any circumstances. Avoid.

It gave me the opportunity to have access to a seperate living room and kitchen which I have not had during my travels. The location is located about an hour and twenty walk to the old town (road crossing pending), however you can order a grab for cheap. - Building works next door going on in to the early hours of the morning - could hear the traffic and a cockerel throughout the night

Aleksandr (4/5): The worst - The apartment is nice My worst experience 1. Sound isolation is non existent in this apartment. You can hear literally everything outside. The worst thing was that rooster that starts screaming at 5 am. You will never get any sleep. Earplugs won’t help. Trust me 2. Location is bad. There’s a small shop with chips and water, that’s it. You will have to walk at least 15 min to the closest cafe or restaurant. Convenient only if you have car or bike 3. The staff asked me to cancel booking so that they don’t pay fee. Made a small discount 40k dong. Not sure my review will be posted since i canceled it 4. I came late once, at around 23:30. The entrance was blocked and I couldn’t open it. The staff didn’t tell me in advance that this happens in the night. No one was answering my calls for 10 minutes. I only imagine that I would sleep outside (with the rooster) if I’d come later. The apartment is actually nice, quiet clean with all amenities you need. The sound isolation is the worst thing about that place

Branislava (1/5): Avoid this place! - Nothing Location is really bad, right next to the highway so we couldnt sleep because of the noise from the outside. The stuff was terrible! When we arrived they asked us to cancel the booking on the app, even though cancelation wasnt free. And to pay them the same price and they will give us “better” room, which we ofc refused. We stayed there for 14 nights and the cleaning lady came just once, the day after we arrived. Whenever I asked her for a toilet paper, every time she rolled her eyes and was really rude. Every single dish in the kitchen was dirty, not to mention bathroom. We needed to buy cleaning products to clean the bathroom so we can use it. Room doesnt match with the photos on booking, there are no decorations.

Julie (1/5): Don't stay here - The apartment was really lovely clean and tidy The location an absolute nightmare we had no sleep for the 2 nights we stayed here it was in front of a motorway and below us was a so called garden with a cockerel that cock a doodkedood every 5 minutes all night long resulting in no sleep as well as traffic noise horrendous we had no bath towels just 2 manky had towels and there was no rest which it stated there was one and also stated was on a quiet backstreet 😞 wow they did lie about it all we have had no sleep and not very happy at all I will be phoning booking .com to fully complain about this I asked them for a refund or partial refund which they just said don't understand I am really angry and upset and lastly when we checked out he made me go up to the room too check it over before we left I've never had this happen to us before we respect wherever we stay I am 62 years old and will be speaking ti you about this booking .com .we were in room 303 Mrs conroy.

Kristin (3/5): Unsatisfied - Upon checking in, I was informed that the room I booked still had someone in the room and I could only move to that room the next day. The property still made me pay full price even though the room I had to stay in the first night was cheaper than the one I booked. While out enjoying Hanoi the next day, I was rushed back to the hotel the next day to check into the original room I booked then though this was their inconvenience. The hotel is next to a high way that runs 24/7, so I never slept at all the 1st night. There is a rooster next door that starts from 3am. The photos do not match the rooms, all the decorations have been removed so it’s just the apartment with the furniture.

High level of staff discipline and friendliness is evident every time you interact. That is not always easy for a hospitality business to pull off, but they are certainly doing it well.

I did not like that once I paid for the accommodation, I was asked to cancel the booking on the reservation platform. I refused to do so because I would incur a fee. The staff person was very annoyed that I refused to cancel the booking after just having paid for it. I also did not like the location. It is not conveniently located to any sights in Hanoi. The bed was terrible. The pillows were also terrible. The towels were stained. The room was only cleaned once during my stay. The photos listed on the reservation platform were false and did not properly depict the room.

Keith (9/5): Superb - It was a really good bargain and would stay again. Wanted to extend my stay. The road is off the main road so it is quiet There is a thirsty rooster at around 4 am who just is screaming and then around 5 am his dog friend is barking. But that's about it
Rachel (10/5): great value for the money. - I loved how clean and safe and comfy the apartment was. Everything seems new, and worked. Wi-Fi was the good for zoom calls and such and it’s easy enough to get a cheap grab to get anywhere. A great spot for remote workers for long periods of time. It’s on a busy road so there is constant noise even all through the night. Not walking close to tourist stuff. But easy to get to with Grab rides.

Piers (10/5): Perfect place to stay if you want to be away from the tourist areas - High quality rooms. New and pristine. Excellent bed (not hard, not soft). Lovely bathroom with a rain shower and plenty of hot water. Comfortable sofa, good desk and chair. Kitchen has high quality appliances. Perfect air conditioning. Some shops nearby but with limited hours so you may need to walk for 5-10 minutes for a Winmart/Circle K convenience store or get a Grab taxi. Not far from the Lotte mall (about 30,000 VND in a Grab). The roadworks mentioned in orders reviews are not a problem at this point. Grab taxis are fine coming here.
Marcel (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel is well situated, close to the beach and only a 5 minute drive to the main city. The breakfast was great with a large variety of choices for all tastes. All the staff were helpful and friendly with particularly thanks to Tram who booked us in and took care of all bookings and requests for the week. Thank you and hope to be back.

The food was beautiful and superb choice. The rooms were so comfortable with so many lovely touches. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It's one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in.

Shanna (6/5): The amenities were very nice and clean, but would opt to stay somewhere else in Hanoi as a tourist. - PROS: The property manager was helpful in my getting settled in. I appreciated that greatly. The front desk staff was friendly. The apartment was very nice inside, comfortable and clean. CONS: I arrived late due to a delayed flight, unfortunately. To enter the apartment you need to call the number of the front desk staff, which I did but no one answered. So I had to sleep in the airport, which was not ideal. There was also a rooster in the alley behind the apartments, which is also next to a busy highway. So the early morning noise of rooster + honking was not my favorite. It IS a big city, so the honking is to be expected, though the rooster waking me up at 5am was not my favorite! Finally, it is far from the tourists things to do, so I took a Grab every day into the Old Quarter and other parts of Hanoi, which is very affordable BUT you cannot walk anywhere.

Peter (8/5): Great place for short stay, loads of space, clean, bright. A bit out of town easy with "Grab taxi" - Liked the space in the apartments, easy lift access. Staff very helpful. Clean and modern, just the job for getting sorted/organised before returning to the UK. Possible sound proofing improvements, busy road, next rooms tv, barking dog and cockerel. All difficult to improve I know.

Johara (10/5): You won't regret staying here. - Absolutely wonderful place to stay. It is so peaceful and relaxing here. Everything about Lua is great! The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful, especially the receptionists Kim & Vu who are super nice. I stayed here 5 nights and wanted to stay longer...but I certainly will be back again. You won't regret staying here.

Finding the reception desk is a challenge as it doesn't exist; guests must navigate to a closed parking lot and hope for staff to appear miraculously for check-in. Early check-in is available for an additional fee, which can be inconvenient. Communication is difficult; calls often go unanswered, and being tourists, we found it hard to contact the hotel. The road is being repaired right next to the hotel. It is difficult to drive up, everything is dusty, noise from repairs, and at 3-4 in the morning also the crowing of roosters
