Guest Reviews
- Helen (6/5): Wonderful except for shower over bath with no grabrails - The shower over the bath was dangerous no rails to hold on to
Am in my 70 x felt it was not good for me, everything else was great .
Perhaps the seating in lounge area could be better bigger , a bit squashed!! As above
- Sarah (8/5): -
- Jason (10/5): - Very charming place right in the centre of town It was rather expensive for the three nights
- Ellie (8/5): A cosy stay very close to the CBD - Perfect amount of room for us and the kids + there were some kids toys available in the loungeroom which came in handy. There were also split system A/C and heaters in each room which was super handy as it still got quite cool overnight for the kids.
- Aleece Vella (9/5): We would stay here again - Host Glenda had thought of everything, air freshener for the toilet, body lotion etc.
Bathurst is a cold place, this cottage had plenty of heating so that helped as we have an asthmatic family member. The Gardener came in whilst we were in the property but the host messaged early to advise and apologise (I didn't see this message till later though).
The couch would be the only negative as it is very uncomfortable.
Suggestion of a 'grab handle' on the wall of the shower to help get in and out for those with lower muscle tone or older people.
- Samantha (9/5): Great location and very helpful host, lovely cottage with lots of character - Great location, very close to town with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants. The cottage has lots of character and was comfortable and clean. I was worried we might be cold given our stay was in August, however, we found it was very cosy and there were air conditioners in each room as well as electric blankets on the beds. Our host was very helpful and responsive. Side gate was difficult to open and close.
- Allison (10/5): It was lovely. - Great airconditioning. Slight bad smell throughout property.
- Sophie (10/5): Cosy living, warm and modern. Had an excellent stay and the host was lovely! - Everything!
- Andrew (8/5): Very good -
- Jillian (7/5): Good - Comfortable bed
Safe car parking inside backyard Gap along fence line couldn’t contain small dog.
- Sophia (8/5): Very good -
- Ella (10/5): 100/10 would recommend & stay a million times again - EVERYTHING!!! NOTHING!!!!

- Andrew (10/5): Amazing beautiful house - This place is stunning, and the host is amazing although there cleaner let my dogs out on main road and denied it. Beds were very uncomfortable and sag in. Apart from this though it is a really lovely place to stay. The bed mattresses, also very cold to go to the toilet put back cold room.
- Sarah (9/5): Cosy cottage close to town! - Was very cosy, spacious and close to town. Had all the amenities you require.
- Belinda (9/5): We loved our stay and really appreciated the attention to detail and coziness of the home. - Perfect location, great Nespresso coffee machine, lovely furniture & bedding. Responsive host. One bathroom
- Julie (8/5): A beautiful rustic style cottage situated in the heart of Bathurst. - The location was very central, we walked to so many restaurants. The cottage was beautifully decorated in a rustic style with so may little extras...enough dishwashing tablets, coffee capsules for a whole week, laundry liquid and fantastic air conditioning in all rooms. Its was ideal for what we wanted for our week long stay in Bathurst. Some fans may be quite useful instead of using the air conditioning when hot. The front gate was difficult to open and shut at times. I felt a little unsafe that that back screen door wasn't able to be locked at night.
- Heather (9/5): Quaint cottage in a good spot and well maintained. - The cottage is very lovely, clean and comfortable.
- Samantha (10/5): We were surprised with this gem! - A cute rustic welcoming cottage with everything you need! Nothing!
- Chantelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- April (9/5): Met our needs perfectly. We have stayed here before and when we need to go back to Bathurst I’ll stay there again, it’s - Excellent location and able to bring our dogs No complaints
- Claudia (8/5): Overall this was a very pleasant stay. Our host was very attentive and quick to assist when required - Location was fabulous. You can walk to bars, cafes and parks. The host was really attentive when we had a small issue with the toilet leaking and had it fixed immediately on a weekend. Beds are very comfortable and the heated blankets made it lovely and toasty. Heaters keep the place very warm as well, which in June was essential. The garden was fenced all around, so our dog was safe. All amenities you could need are provided except for laundry powder, however I did not expect this to be provided. The couches are uncomfortable but not a deal breaker. There is dust under all beds and some extra cleaning is required in the bathroom as there is quite a bit of red mould. This is probably due to the hot/cold weather we have had all over Eastern Australia. I would have loved a couple more toilet rolls as I felt we needed to ration a little.
- Courtney (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mathew (9/5): charming, warm and cosy stay - charm of old cottage, proximity to town centre and cosy feeling, great hot water too nothing in particular
- Angela (9/5): Superb -

- Heidi (7/5): Clean tidy house in as great location . very dear for what you get. - great location. Clean house Very small.
- Monique (8/5): Very good - Goodie basket, bedding and enclosed outdoor area. Would have liked an outdoor bbq.
- Lisa (10/5): Relaxing, Loved it! We will be back! - Beautiful character filled cottage, very comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed. We loved the street and walking distance to town. Beautiful area. Our host was very welcoming. We couldn’t fault it. NA
- Mark (7/5): Great location and very easy access. only downside was the two sofas being ultra uncomfortable -
