Guest Reviews
- Eileen (5/5): Location is great. It's less expensive than a hotel. Just the essentials. Bed, TV, shower. - Location is great. TV worked well.
Had plenty of blankets
Little AC/FAN/HEATER worked well Needs an overall upgrade especially the kitchen, bathroom as well.
No coffee cups. Needs better lighting.
No surface space in bathroom to put anything
- Маша (10/5): It’s my second time here, I was really happy when saw it was available so short notice. The place had everything necessa - Loved the location. Clear instructions. Attentive host. Nothing I can think of.

- Luciano (8/5): Great for less than 2 people to discover Manhattan - Excellent location.
It has a kitchen with all elements to prepare any meal.
Bathroom ok.
Host always attentive to inquiries :) You cannot control the temperature in the room, there is a central heater some nights worked and some didn't.
There is a big external AC from neighbors in front of the room window, could be noisy.
- Maggie (4/5): - comfy, cute, easy to get in very very cold, window that doesn’t close in new york in december and no heavy blankets!! also somewhat dirty bathroom
- Stephanie (8/5): A nice, but typical NYC apartment - It was very quiet. There are lots of places to eat within a block of the location. Bus route on neighboring street. Subway entrance about 5 blocks away. Lots of little extras like water, lotion, etc. The room was cozy & bed was comfortable. The owner worked with me when I had a problem with the door and checked on me during my stay The door! It took 2 hours to figure out the exact way to twist the key and turn the knob to get in. The bathroom was dated, the tub specifically needs to be repaired. No overhead light or stove (not that big of a deal since I wasn't in the room much). Ran out of toilet paper, no extra.
- Маша (10/5): Will be back again! - It’s was very conveniently located. Had everything necessary. I was booking last minute, but the host was very responsive nonetheless. I only later saw other comments from people saying that there was an issue with the water, so I was happy that it was fixed by the time of my stay.
The building was an older one which added that authentic New York charm.

- Carole (5/5): The place is fine if all you are going to do is crash for the night. - Clean with a comfortable bed. The address that was advertised is a lovely building in the Sutton Place area. However, the actual address of the apartment was in the building next door, which holds apartments located above a retail establishment (currently closed down). The advertised address was only the porch address which held the lock box for the keys. Interestingly, the actual address has a porch with railing to which the lock box could have been affixed. The only reason I can think of for putting the lock box at a different address is that the actual building is being readied for renovation, or sale, and no one is supposed to actually be residing there.
When I booked the apartment, I received an email (and chat through the app) giving the lock box pin. At no time was I ever notified that the code given was not the actual code and the actual code would be sent later on, specifically on the day I arrived. This was despite my contacting the host on two separate occasions asking for clarification about the apartment keys.
The apartment itself was clean but extremely worn. The closets were unusable as they were filled with all types of detritus, such as old linens and floor coverings, furniture, shoes, and lots of cleaning supplies. There was one floor lamp which required me to step over the low sofa in order to get to the switch, as the sofa was against the corner of the oversized bed.
- Hope (8/5): Very good -
- Valeriia (10/5): Great place - Great location, clean, safe and cozy
Looks like a classic Manhattan apartment with kitchen
A lot restaurants near location
10 min to 5th ave and Central Park
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional - Good afternoon! In fact, I was wary when I booked the apartment, because of the reviews that it has a listing, but to my great surprise, the apartment turned out to be exactly like in the pictures, clean and cozy, the location is very convenient! I liked everything, the host was very friendly and communicative ! Thank you!
- Ima (2/5): Would not recommend this property to anyone! - Location was ok! Water could not be regulated!
Roaches were visible!
Way overpriced for what it was!
Thankfully we basically just slept there!
- Sanditova (10/5): I stayed one night, checked in at the last minute, but it wasn't a problem. - I liked the apartment, it was clean and warm. Good location
- Alejandra (4/5): Great location but uncomfortable apartment with hot water issues. - Very convenient location The hot water in the shower didn’t work with the faucet. I had to buy a screwdriver to open the hot water in the shower. The bed was uncomfortable, it sucks towards the middle and our feet were much higher than our torso.
