Guest Reviews
- Lee (7/5): Good but wish the TV worked better and that the showerhead wasn’t leaking - Great location had everything we needed TV kept dropping in and out and the showerhead was leaking
- Darragh (7/5): -
- Jodie (9/5): -
- TUNG-WEI (9/5): - 有提供大電視以及浴缸 環境也很好交通發達 附近就有許多景點 電視網路速度有點慢跑不動影片
- HsiangYu (10/5): -
- John (8/5): Warm , comfortable ¢ral to our needs - Breakfast was not included
- Metalynn (9/5): Superb - location was great, walking distance from Murray St and a bunch of malls, shops and cafés!
- Samuel (8/5): Very good -
- Priscilla (10/5): We had a lovely stay! It was a small compact apartment which had all the things we needed to make our stay comfortable! - It had all the essentials we needed for a few nights!
- Noémie (5/5): Passable - The apartment itself is very nice and modern. The bed is comfortable (on the soft side) and the kitchen is well-equipped. It is very well located and the central sights of Perth can be reached by foot. There is an amazing Indian restaurant directly in front of it. The hosts react fast to messages and the provided information made check-in and check-out very easy. Unfortunately despite the nice apartment we were disappointed with our stay for several reasons.
First of all, the apartment is very poorly soundproof. We could literally hear what the neighbours were talking about. The closing of the neighbour's door felt like someone was entering in our apartment. In the night we woke up everytime someone came home.
In addition to this we had some particularly loud neighbours. Fighting, shouting at each other, very aggressively - to a point at which we were unsure whether to call the police. I know the hoste can't influence the neighbours, however it made us feel unsafe.
I booked the apartment via the booking platform. The deposit had to be paid via a different website (airbnb). I am not especially keen to sharing my data with other platforms than the trusted booking site.
We did not feel welcomed or comfortable during our stay due to the constant threat and menacing messages of additional fees (don't stain the towels too much, don't loose the keys, don't leave anything behind, don't forget to take out your rubbish, pay the deposit immedialty otherwise booking will be cancelled - I alreay paid the rent but was offline for several days). In the end, we did not cook whatsoever in the apartment out of fear to do something wrong.
Five days after our stay I still did not get my deposit back. Only when I sent a message, they scheduled the transaction. Too late imo.
There are other smaller points, like I would have expected a faster internet for this price or the lockbox for the keys is very hard to open.
In summary, we were disappointed by the stay. It is defenitely not worth the money. I would not recommend staying there expect if you can live with the mentioned points. Too sad - the apartment and the locations itself would have been great.
But in summary we felt not welcome and that the host is only doing this as part of an investment and not for being hostpitable.
- Ahad (10/5): Exceptional - 5 Neighbours are not really good one
- Sophie (9/5): Superb -
- Maria (9/5): Superb -
- Ralph (6/5): Pleasant -
- Josh (9/5): Great stay - Great location. Good value for money The windows did not open, however the AC mostly compensated for this
- Rudolf (7/5): Good - Location. Amenities in the surroundings. Access to interesting places via public transport. I had to remind the property owner to refund out deposit. This was really annoying and unprofessional.
There was no recycling bin for glass, metal or plastic.
- Pierre (7/5): Good - The location is great, very close to the very center, and access to train and buses (and red buses).
Also just on top of a really nice cocktail bar.
The bed is comfy, the aircon works really well, and the washing mashine/dryer is really good.
Has all that is needed for a trip of a few days to a week. The door is not great for sound proofing and you hear a lot from the neighbours coming and going.
The pans and pots are a bit old and scratched.
- Nitu (8/5): Very good -
- Mikaela (7/5): Good -
- Christine (8/5): Comfortable and clean studio apartment. - The room was comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable. I was able to cook my breakfast each morning, which was great. The location was close to dining options and only a three-minute walk to my conference venue. I could not make the wifi work so I was unable to watch Netflix or connect my laptop to wifi. The TV stations often had poor reception, interrupting transmission image and sound. This was frustrating. Information about nearby convenience/grocery stores was missing from the folder.
- Philomena (4/5): Desperately in need of an upgrade for the price point - The lock box was difficult to access and returning the keys was a nightmare and if you were height challenged it would be near impossible. the stupid black thing that you had to press down to open box is too stiff and broke my nails :-(
It was only a month before our stay that we realised that there was a $250 surety when we received an email demanding the said sum. Then we received the rules and regulations where we could lose the $250 deposit, my husband commented that a he was quite nostalgic (he felt that the draconian rules were worse than when he was 15 and living at home). We are retired and have travelled the world and have stayed in various accommodation options and have never had to dispose of our own rubbish WT?. Furthermore the reason we chose an apartment with cooking facilities was to self cater but given the rules and regulations we didn't feel comfortable so we ate out :-( Moreover the so called apartment was only the size of a standard hotel room.
The facilities offered were basic and not of a high quality, ie couch was badly stained and instead of cleaning or replacing a throw rug was placed over most of the stain. The crockery was heavy and cheap. The walls were thin and we could hear surrounding guests in their rooms, the lift was noisy and went 24/7. The bed was on casters which didn't lock and kept moving every time we went to sit on it. No plug to wash dishes, No fan in bathroom making the bathroom mirror virtually useless, the shower was over the bath and the screen made it dangerous to access the bath/shower and would not have been suitable for someone with mobility issues. The hot and cold taps in the shower were not clearly marked. And the fuse box near the front door was held together with Blue Tack and a Band-Aid. My occupation was in Quality Control and Compliance and this property would not have passed, it is is desperate need of an upgrade for the price point.
- Amandeep (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kaye (8/5): All in all , we enjoyed our stay. - Its convenience to mist locations. The fact that there was. I parking on site.
- Jonathan (8/5): Very good - Great location. Central to all activities within the Perth CBD. The bed felt a bit old and tired. Time for a new one I think.
- Pietro (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vivian (8/5): Great location - The studio is perfect for a short stay in a great location close to the city. It was clean and tidy. Communication with the host is via email and texting. Unfortunately we could here the toilet flushing and shower from the unit next door at all hours. Not having a window that opens was not great.
- Dayle (10/5): Would stay again! - Perfect place for my partner and I visiting Perth for the weekend. We spend most of our time out, but it was great to come ‘home’ to a comfy bed, decent water pressure in a very well maintained shower and bathroom, air con that works pretty quick and access to a washer/dryer was super handy. It was easy to get in and out of the building with the fob/key and to collect and return it was no fuss.
We loved that it was so close to a number of busses (literally on the next corner) and a 10-15 min walk to Perth main train station.
- Richard (10/5): Very nice stay, totally recommended! - We had a wonderful stay. Very clean apartment, super cozy, we had all we needed as they provide plenty of tableware and kitchen utensils (even salt, pepper, olive oil, sugar) The appliances are all very new and worked perfectly. Comfy bed and sofa, plenty of light. Not being able to open the window, but the ac was working all right and gave us fresh air. Also, although overall it was very quiet, the apartment next door had a code key so we could hear them when they opened the door, sometimes at night.
- Triantafillia (7/5): A jug of cold water in the fridge - a small uht milk so I could have a cup of tea or coffee would have been nice as I do - Location I arrived at midnight after 10 hours of flying - the instructions as to where I would find the key were incorrect
There was no lighting in the box to see the numbers you had to tumble
When I got into the room there was a ‘welcome’ folder but it gave no instructions on where to find a wifi password and the tv didn’t work
I sent a message asking about password and how to work tv
I was answered in the morning - acceptable with only where to find the wifi password so I sent another email about the tv which was not answered but I did get 2 emails on the checkout procedure
At 4.30pm I rang the contact no and someone was sent to fix the tv which would have been helpful if that could have been done after my 2nd email
- Teariki (10/5): Beautiful - Beautiful apartment. Had everything I needed and lots of space. Enjoyed my stay here
Thank you
