• Jansson (10/5): Mysigt boende på ön Giudecca - Fräsch lägenhet med alla förnödenheter. Lagom stort och möjlighet för barnen att få avskildhet vid behov. Nära till hållplats för båtbuss till centrum men också bra utbud med restauranger, mataffär mm i närområdet. Lite synd att man behövde ta båtbuss för att komma till centrum. Vi hade missat att man kan köpa familjepass på båtbussarna så det blev extra dyrt för oss som behövde åka tur och retur med 4 personer i flera dagar, men annars var allt bra.
• Mike (9/5): Great Place that Needs Improvements - The location was great. The apartment was aesthetically pleasing to the eye and in a good location. Very comfortable with everything you need to make meals if you like. There was a persistent humming through the night, possibly from the apartment below or from a system in the building but it kept us from getting a good night sleep every night as it woke us up several times through the night. A better shower would have been nice too.

• Agctin (10/5): Great accommodation - We had a very pleasant experience. The host provided us with clear instructions on how to reach the accommodation and arranged for a contact person who met us there and guided us throughout our stay. On the day we arrived, there was dense fog, which made public transportation somewhat unreliable. However, we were contacted in advance by Ms. Elena, who guided us on how to reach the accommodation without any issues. Everything was perfect—the accommodation was clean, we had all the necessary facilities, and the vaporetto stop was very close by. We were given helpful guidance and told we could contact her anytime if needed. There were four of us staying, and we were all very satisfied with this experience. We highly recommend it. Nothing to complain.
• John (10/5): An excellent apartment in the very best place to stay in Venice. - Giudecca Palanca is by far the best place to stay in Venice. We are sure this is true after 20 years of visiting. It is away from the hustle and bustle and yet the fondamente has 8-10 bars and restaurants and an excellent greengrocers and a co-op supermarket nearby. It feels more like an Italian village than a tourist resort. And, on the vaporetti, you can get to Zattere in 5 minutes, to Accademia in 10 minutes, to San Giorgio in 10 minutes, to Marco Polo in 15 minutes. The apartment was modern, smart, clean, spacious - for Venice - and is ideally placed to enjoy Palanca. It's 20 yards from the Giudecca canal and looks out over a big garden. Nothing. Of course, a view of the Giudecca canal would be nice but you can't have it all.

• Mary (8/5): Mosquito-free, well appointed, airconditioned, very comfortable apartment - A lovely air-conditioned accommodation in a quiet part of Venice. Beds were comfortable and kitchen well appointed. Manager bent over backwards and waited until our late arrival in the evening It was difficult to organize ferry tickets in order to get across the canal when late in the evening when tired & exhausted from travelling all day. Shower head needs a revamp but worked with a slight adjustment

• Saskia (10/5): Best place to stay in Venice! - Such a great apartment, had everything we needed, was super clean and everything was easy. The location was absolutely perfect for us. You could easily get there by the water bus and could escape the hustle of main Venice when needed! Fruit and veg shops and fish market looked great if you wanted to cook but with the fantastic restaurants a few minutes walk away you really don’t need to! Loved every moment!

• Sergei (1/5): Bad - everything was terrible, ruined vacation Apartments with terrible conditions!!! These are very old apartments with the worst owner. There is no hot water in the apartment, the lights were turned off several times, the dishwasher is broken, the overhead shower is broken, there is a strong smell of cigarettes from the hallway, terrible audibility - it is impossible to sleep. The owner does not react to these problems in any way - he only offers to make a small discount, for a review of 10. Therefore, I do not advise anyone to rent them, reviews with a good rating are false, written by people for a discount. There was no hot water in the apartment, because of a broken boiler. The owner did not inform us about this upon arrival. At first, we spent several hours clarifying this situation, then there was a promise to fix the boiler, as a result, the owner began to ignore us. For three days we had to take an ice-cold shower and wash dishes with cold water. There are very noisy neighbors below the apartment, it was impossible to sleep. Every morning there was a terrible smell of cigarettes in the apartment, since the neighbors below smoke all night in the entrance and all this draws into the apartment. All correspondence with the lying owner was sent to booking.
• Jurate (1/5): Very poor vacation stay experience with fraudulent claims from hosts - Location The heating pot was broken and not hot water in the appartment; the dish-washer revealed not working as well, so last days we were living in the stinking environment, because of dirty dishes from fresh-fish-home-made dinner, no hot water to wash it by hand During the stay, the manager has promissed to adjust the price, so that it is closer to actual qualities. The manager has sent people to the appartment and recognised the situation. Now for several days I am dealing with the manager regarding this reimbursement. The manager started claiming that I am a lier and that everything was working. I have a correspondence with him, as well as evidence to indicate the true state of everything that I have encountered.
• Samantha (7/5): Great location but a few things I should have been aware of before booking. - Great location, property very spacious and very clean. Well appointed. Beautiful views out the window over gardens. Absolutely love Giudecca and this is the best location to stay in Venice. Charged €40 for late check in at 9pm, shower is very uncomfortable, doesn’t stay on wall. Property smelled strongly like smoke (but appreciate this may be from neighbours and out of the control of the hosts). No bin bags provided.
