Complicated instructions
Rude host and unhelpful, kept telling me to read his email.
Keys collection on another street at laundromat
Poor linen quality, bed linen and pillows didnt smell fresh
Poor quality towels. Didn’t look clean.we used our own towels. Half empty soap bottles
Tea bags thrown uncovered in cutlery draw. We got our own.
Key pad didnt work. We couldnt enter the car park another tenant opened remote gate for us. Remote also didnt work in lift, We were stuck in the lift for 10 mins. Another tenant helped us get out
Host came finally to fix.
Dusty centre table in apartment, i wiped it.it was coveted with old newspapers
Carpark hard to find.
All in all not good value for price charged.
- Andrew (8/5): Great location and a lovely apartment, would stay again - The Apartment was in great location, walking distance to restaurants and super markets. The unit was spacious with comfortable beds Another key would have been great. Allowing everyone to be independent. As you need the key to leave the building
- yongchan (6/5): - Location Tv
- Shruty (10/5): -
- Andrew (9/5): - Great location and facilities. Comfy and spacious. Windows to balcony were quite dirty. No sheets for sofa bed, although doona and pillows were present. SMS code for key drop off was sent very late at night and woke me up.

- Stephen (9/5): Would be very happy to stay there again - Great location, near Dickson shops with supermarkets, cafes and restaurants
Easy to get into Civic by car or light rail.
Excellent host, very helpful
- Matthew (9/5): Superb -
- Deb (4/5): Ok - Half full wine bottle in fridge
- Liane (9/5): Superb - Fabulous location, lovely views, clean, with everything you need. Easy walk to restaurants, bars and shops. Would definitely stay again. Great to have secure parking too. The only glitch was that for some reason we didn't get our checkin email and I had to call. No problems after that though. Nothing I didn't like about the apartment or location.
- Suzanne (8/5): Very good -
- Yvonne (9/5): Excellent stay for our needs. Would recommend and stay there again. Thank you - Property was excellent for our needs. It was very clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable. Couldn’t fault the property . Close to public transport, eateries and supermarket which was handy as I forgot that there would probably not be any tea or coffee. Picking up and dropping off key and car spot was a bit confusing. Host was very helpful. There seemed to be some mixed messaging between Booking.com and the host.
- Kate (8/5): Aside from some communication issues with the host, the apartment and location was very good. - I would have liked clearer instructions on access to the apartment. Perhaps the host could have met us there.
- Ol’ (8/5): Could have been fabulous, but just failed in quite a few apparently small but important ways. small - Good location. Clean. Very modern. Feedback (always better direct than through a website)
1) The parking spot instructions were good but, after such an unnecessarily long list of "Conditions" which are, quite honestly, far too long and whilst may be true , don't need pointing out (as if anyone who is a people smuggler will either read them or take any notice, to be honest!) I hadn't waded through them to navigate to the parking space. Either ditch all the "Do not" instructions or put the parking directions earlier in your writing.
Same with the key collection process. It takes far too long to discover how and where to collect the keys.
2) There were virtually NO paper products in the unit. Hardly any toilet paper and no kitchen paper. Both basic necessities when staying even for a short time.
3) No hand soap in the ensuite bathroom, virtually none in the other. None in the kitchen.
4) When staying in units around the country and the world (I've visited 25 countries this year in 5 months of travel and stayed in well over a hundred such places), it is not unreasonable to expect to have soap or body wash in all showers, as well as shampoo and even conditioner. Not mismatched and frankly third rate, near empty bottles of these items that look like previous travellers have left behind.
5) Decent bedding. Clean is a minimum requirement which your unit certainly meets. However, a doona needs a top sheet. The aircon can be too cool to sleep without a cover and the cover too warm. A top sheet is a convenient halfway option.
6) The pillows were very "basic" and felt cheap. However, a basic OH&S requirement is for all pillows to have pillow protectors, either washable or disposable. For a 4-5 star priced stay, these are mandatory by law.
7) Dishwashing liquid required to be able to wash a few items rather than having to use the dishwasher.
8) Fly screens on the sliding doors. Sleeping with the doors open is a good option instead of aircon on hot nights.
- Brad (8/5): Very good -
- Ronald (9/5): very enjoyable stay - saucepans need replacing - drying rack broken
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lee (10/5): Comfortable accommodation at a great price and excellent location. - Comfortable accommodation close to everything Nothing to dislike. Inside car park was a maze to get through.
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - Modern, clean, comfortable beds, great shower.
- Pravin (4/5): Canberra vacation - The location The double bed was small for a couple. Would recommend Queen or King beds
No coffee, no sugar, no milk facility
- Justine (8/5): Very good - Great location in walking distance from restaurants.
- Jejar (8/5): Very good -
- Ali (7/5): Good -
- Dietrich (6/5): Location excellent, but wouldn't stay again. - The location was excellent. The size of the apartment was as expected. The balcony was good. Parking was included and good. The owner responded well to quetions. We had a problem opening the door to the apartment. It required a good shove. It appeared to be locked and we phoned the owner and he acknowledged that there was a problem. The location of the allocated parking space was an issue. Numbered spaces appeared to be located randomly. The apartment was quite cheaply furnished. There was virtually no soap in the bathroom dispensers. There was quite a lot of hair on the floor of the ensuite bathroom. There was a cupboard near the kitchen that was CHAINED shut. I presume that this contained maintenance products. It struck me as rather 'passive aggresive' and over the top. Almost threatening to guests. The garbage bin was from Ikea and totally unsuited to the configuration of the cupboard. The condtions of rental that were emailed to me were absurd and over the top. They referred to child prostitution and drug use ad nauseum. It was rediculous and insulting. The owner is obviously new to this...but he needs to get up to speed! Potentially a good apartment to rent, but let down by the inexperience of the owner.
- Sean (4/5): Disappointing - The property wasn’t clean when we checked in. Towels and bedding dirty. Crockery still in sink from past guests.
- Mike (6/5): Great location, but didn’t sleep well. - Great location. Walk to restaurants and cafes. Spacious and modern apartment. The beds were not comfortable. Front door was very hard to open.
- Lorenw_64 (9/5): Great location and unit - Clean and spacious..... great location.
Good value for money Only thing I could suggest was to supply dish cloths.
I was wary of using a sponge dish mop in a rental unit.
Much more hygienic to have a chux cloth or similar for each booking.
- Kaj (8/5): Comfortable, but very minimalistic - Location was great-lovely view A bit of attention to creature comfort would’ve been nice.No toilet paper provided-had to contact host.Tea,coffee & milk would be a big plus, particularly for late arriving travellers
- David (9/5): Superb - Very tidy and clean unit
- Steven (7/5): Good -
- Cassy (8/5): Very good - Fantastic location with secure parking. Everything you need within walking distance with a neat little IGA in the building.
- Graeme (8/5): Nice stay, good location and modern apartment - Location was good I thought there may of been some coffee satchels or tea bags to make a cup of tea/coffee - inexpensive cost but is a really good will feel
- George (9/5): Superb - Overall, great location, hosts, comfort and space. There was only one set of keys. In future, please organise two sets of keys for families so that we can have more flexibility. The host offered a solution: the key could be dropped at the local IGA front counter and collected when we entered the apartment. However, this is not a practical solution as we need to park in front of the street (if we get closer parking). Walk to the shop and collect before accessing the parking or building. Definitely not an appropriate solution, though it is workable.
- Katharine (6/5): Great location and a comfortable stay - Great location and comfortable with all that we needed Wifi password wasn't working and clearer instructions on which lift to get would have been helpful.
- George (9/5): Superb - Location, facilities, free parking, supermarket, eateries all nearby and general space of apartment was good. Only 1 set of keys were provided, which meant as a family if we had to have separate plans for coming and going from the place we were asked to drop the keys in the supermarket next door. We found this impractical as the supermarket opens and closes at a certain time. In future please organise for guests to have two sets of keys to the apartment.
- Nirma (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (8/5): Satisfactory and good value. Would stay again. - Host was very helpful; provided detailed instructions which helped navigate what can be a tricky building complex and carpark first time around. Location is close to centre of Canberra. Although the apartment fronts a relatively busy road, the double glazing does a good job keeping the noise at bay. Apartment was neat and clean, and is good value. Would stay again. Getting lost in the carpark.
- Tania (10/5): Will definitely stay again & would highly recommend - Very spacious, self contained, centrally located to shops & public transport and close to CBD.
Very safe & secure location No Hair dryer available
TV remote didn’t work had to turn on & off at Power point.
- Hans (7/5): Good -
- Stuart (7/5): Good -
- Joanne (7/5): Good location, IGA closeby, off street parking, spacious, washing machine - Spacious, off street parking Not as clean as it could be
- Graeme (8/5): Very good -
- Van (6/5): Great location, great facility, disappointing communication with the owner - Location and layout - spacious and good bed/bathroom configuration for two work colleagues travelling together. Very clean. We were accused by the owner of damaging a window blind which we didn’t touch (but my colleague noticed was broken on arrival). Owner kept texting and didn’t believe us and we were asked to pay for damage - this experience soured the whole trip.
- Rowan (9/5): A great stay in a lovely clean apartment. Just the ticket for us. -
- Tracey (9/5): Lovely apartment. Allow extra time to figure out the parking situation if you are on a tight schedule with time. - Lovely Parking location was a bit difficult - but got there in the end.
- Linda (8/5): The beginning of the stay after a long drive was upsetting and confusing- the unit itself was clean and new, once we got - Very comfortable good location The owner really needs to update the check in process as the whole procedure was confusing and complicated. We were sent text messages from an unidentified source and had to pick up the key from a shop.
- Jason (5/5): Passable -
- Carly (8/5): Very good - spacious, clean, comfortable key pick up instructions not straight forward. Told to collect keys from IGA they didn't know anything about it. Had to wait around. Car park was a little bit of a maze.
No coffee or tea.
- Mary (8/5): Would book again. Location is very good. - Very modern unit, comfortable, tidy. Shower good pressure and good to use One toilet was dirty with urine all over the seat.
No paper towels for wiping down kitchen
no cooling in second bedroom, stuffy
The carpark access was a nightmare, very hard to find the allocated spot and exits
You have to pay for extra towels, only one towel and face washer supplied per person.
Need something slipproof in shower recess
- Rebecca (10/5): The best accommodation in Canberra by far! - The property was spacious, clean and quiet even though on Northbourne Ave. Ohhh and affordable! The owner was attentive and friendly, nothing was a problem. I have stayed in many hotels in Canberra, never an apartment and this was the best accommodation by far. It is also really close to a tramway station, the shops and eateries of Dickson. Try Taj Agra if you get the chance. There is an IGA downstairs if you are too lazy to walk a few extra hundred metres to Woolworths or Coles lol. There will be some more eateries on the ground floor soon so everything is close at hand for those gastronomically minded and all the attractions are not too far away. We will 100% stay here again. I can’t thank the owners enough for my best experience yet in Canberra accomodation wise. Do yourself a favour and book this apartment for your next stay in Canberra. Nothing we didn’t like, the property and the owners were great.
- Ma (3/5): Poor - Big room Cleanness, facility inefficient, smell wired
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julieta (10/5): Value for money. Manager was extremely helpful. Would recommend. - Manager was extremely helpful. Value for money. Will highly recommend to friends.
- Lorraine-ann (8/5): Very good -
- Christine (4/5): very poor - The apartment was lovely the owner forgot we were coming and he cleaned the place and made us wait outside and it was late and we had travelled 5 hours ! And he didnt apologise !
- Geoff (3/5): okay, but expensive and hard to get good nights sleep in one bedroom - No ;sheets for the bed. One bedroom was very hot and had no A/C
- Robert (6/5): No - New, clean Had to call to get towel and toilet paper
- Aloysius (8/5): Enjoyable stay in a brand new apartment - Good location with spacious, comfortable well equipped apartment The parking
- Alice (10/5): Exceptional - It was very spicaious and had all the utensils you needed to cook Nothing really
- Ross (8/5): Very enjoyable stay in a comfortable apartment that was well appointed and close to all amenities. - Great location opposite the Dickson Interchange Light Rail station and very handy to 2 supermarkets and a lot of cafes and eating houses.
Very comfortable apartment with a nice balcony and good views from the third floor. The beds needed to be made with a sheet under the doona, the rubbish bin in the main bathroom hadn't been emptied after the previous tenants had stayed there,we couldn't find any washing machine detergent, things like the refrigerator and the sliding doors to the balcony needed to be wiped clean.
You need to follow the map very closely that was texted to us before our arrival as regards the underground parking and make sure you exit the car park via the correct set of elevators otherwise you will end up in the wrong building which was our mistake, but we really appreciated the owner returning and running us through the correct process.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Neil (9/5): Superb -
- Navakiran (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nunn (9/5): We'd gladly return and thoroughly recommend the apartment. - Bright, spacious and modern. Couldn't be a more perfect unit for the price. Very close to the light rail running straight to the city. Better than even the pictures indicate. Parking is very tight and a little tricky to navigate the location. It appears there is wi-fi but we didn't get a password and couldn't find instructions.
- Ann (9/5): Excellent accommodation -
- Glenn (9/5): Superb - Large unit in a great location Hard to find the parking and navigate to the lift
- Linda (10/5): Our stay at your accommodation apartment was fantastic I have only one request, where is the instrus - The service was excellent I got a lot of inatriubut the worker tolerated me and that was great service Didn’t have to wait long
- Gong (10/5): Exceptional -
