I know Southfields, which is a lovely neighbourhood with restaurants nearby and a District line tube station. A perfect and enjoyable stay for my needs -- visiting family and meetings in London. Liked it all.

• David (10/5): Excellent homestay - Margaret was so helpful. An excellent host. The room itself was cosy, warm and comfortable. I liked the bottled water. It was good having a small fridge in the room. The breakfasts were great and I enjoyed the chat with Margaret in the morning. Nothing was too much trouble. She is a very friendly person always with a smile on her face. The location is fantastic - easy to get to Wimbledon or to central London. Nothing. You should note that stairs are involved if you have difficulty in walking up stairs. However Margaret's husband and son kindly carried my luggage when I arrived and left.
• Alaa (9/5): Good - This was my first time to stay in a shared house. Margaret is very helpful and she cares about the small details. She sent me the directions for the house in advance which was so helpful. The location is fantastic as there is Tesco, restaurants, pharmacies, and of course the underground, all within 3 minutes walk. I also appreciate the lovely coffee I had in the room and the mini fridge. So handy 😄 I am not used to booking shared properties, so I struggled a little bit to adjust to being in a shared house, but that’s a personal preference. The only thing that could also be better is the kettle in the bedroom was slow. It’s not a big deal. Just thought to mention it.

La casa è occupata da tre persone e Margareth ti fa sentire come se tu fossi parte della famiglia. Pur essendo abitata in casa c'è molta privacy. Ottima la pulizia e nel bagno ci sono tutti i prodotti necessari compreso bidet., phon e adattatori per le prese elettriche. La colazione è ottima e Margaret ti chiede se hai preferenze per i giorni a seguire, noi siamo stati 7 giorni. La mattina avevamo pure caffè italiano con cialde Illy caffè. Metro a 300 metri e zona tranquilla con tutti i servizi a disposizione. Massima disponibilità di Margareth per risolvere qualsiasi problema coordinando pure l'orario della colazione. Padrona di casa top e da provare sicuramente. Noi la riproveremo alla nostra prossima visita a Londra. . Niente

Margaret gave me so many tips and suggested sights I wouldn't have visited without her knowledge, and she's so lovely. Only 2-minutes walk to Southfields Station, a nice quiet area at night but very vibrant during the day, with plenty of restaurants and cafes. Lovely room, very spacious and comfortable. Private bathroom with shower just next to the room. Fresh towels and linen were provided, also fresh water was in the fridge with coffee and tea available in the room. Lovely breakfast was served in the kitchen every morning. Nice outside space to enjoy on sunny days. Margaret and Maurice were amazing hosts, they welcomed us into their house and made sure we didn't miss anything. They were very friendly and accommodating with all our requests. Next time I'll visit London I'll stay again in this accommodation. Thank you so much Everything was amazing

Nice garden! The feeling was fine even though it could have been bad as we were living in another family’s home. Can really recommend this place!

A real English home, located very close to the Underground line that takes you straight to all of London’s main attractions. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, and the neighborhood is quiet, authentic, and truly British. The room was very comfortable, with a private bathroom — everything you need for a cozy stay. Margaret and Maurice are always there to help, guide, and give great advice. Nearby, you’ll find beautiful parks, lovely pubs with great food, and plenty of shops. Supermarkets, restaurants and a very good chippie just a few minutes walk away. A quiet area, and was glad of the fridge.

Quiet, safe and pleasant neighbourhood. 5 min walk to a Tube station and from there, all the London highlights were easy to reach. Everything was taken care of, Margaret indeed manages to create a home-away-from home feeling. Will come back!

I booked this place only for the Premier League match but thanks to her (and her local information for tourists), I got a big unexpected trip in London with my dad. The location was good too. On the District line, accessible, not too difficult to reach because the tube station has a lift. The best thing was the ambiance. Really calm and safe in the residential area. The house was a little old but it doesn't matter cause it was clean enough and cozy. The breakfast was fantastic. I loved her sweets with a cup of tea. As a guest, for me, the best service. Highly recommended. Nothing.

• Olga (10/5): Exceptional - An excellent location! The tube is just a five-minute walk away, with plenty of good restaurants, supermarkets, and cafes nearby. It’s a safe, clean, and very green area, very close to the city centre without any need to change lines on the tube, and there’s great access to the train station. The room and bathroom are very cosy. You have everything here: kettle, cups, tea, coffee, biscuits, plates, etc. In the bathroom, there are plenty of towels, shampoo, gel, and many other useful things. There are even slippers! It’s much better than a hotel, where you often need to ask for many things. The house is very quiet, with considerate neighbours. The mattress is very comfortable, and there are two different pillows, so you can sleep very well. Breakfast is wonderfully diverse: eggs, cornflakes, porridge, tea/coffee, toast, jams, butter, and fruits. It was perfect! Many thanks to Margaret. She is a truly wonderful, positive, open-minded, and friendly person. Thank you so much for the recommendations and the interesting mornings!

I'm not used to homestays, so the lack of locks on the doors did have me feeling a bit jittery at first. But I needn't have worried at all.

We know the area very well but she has excellent recommendations both locally and if going in to London. The house is spotless and the accommodation extremely comfortable and private. The bathroom for your personal use is just next to your room. Breakfast was delicious with a wide range of fruits, juices, cereals, yogurts, toast and eggs. Thoroughly recommend staying at Margaret's. I have no suggestions for improvements as it is an excellent place to stay
