- Laura (5/5): We didn't have a bad stay, but we wouldn't stay here again. - The property has a fabulous rooftop area with small pool. The view is fantastic on a clear day. It's worth going up to relax even if you don't plan to swim. Most of the apartments face an interior courtyard, so it's a bit quieter than if they faced the main street. We always felt safe and appreciated having to pass through a staffed reception area to get in and out. There are several nice cafes and restaurants within walking distance. You're in the heart of the city, so there's always some level of noise. Also, many people seemed to have dogs and you could often hear them barking. Our apartment looked nice at first glance but needed some maintenance (mold in the crevices of the showers, shower doors that didn't slide well, water damaged floor and doors). The big issue is that one of the bedroom A/C units leaked badly; maintenance came out twice and still didn't fully fix it, so we weren't able to use it. Communication was super confusing; I never knew whether to message through Booking.com, through the DACK app, or directly with our host via WhatsApp. In the end we accidentally left a stuffed animal behind and, while someone confirmed that they found it, we haven't been able to rescue it despite trying. None of the people behind any of the platforms seems to be connected or communicating with each other (or responding to me anymore). A friend went by on our behalf and reception had no idea where the stuffed animal is. The lack of coordinated customer service has been very frustrating.
