Guest Reviews
- Hydz (9/5): - Privacy
- Hydz (8/5): Very good - I like that it's a good price and good location
- Matthias (5/5): Passable - The location is phenomenal! You’ve got the MTR, busses and trams right outside. It’s a short walk to the ferry. And across is a sports complex to hang out and use the free wifi in the evening. The room itself was clean. The communication with the manager was great. There wasn’t a night I could actually sleep through. I think it really depends on the other people living there at the time you’re staying here. The room has zero soundproof and you’ll awake every time someone gets home, is in the kitchen or takes a shower. It was quite frustrating since some people came home around midnight, others around 3am, and the first person took a shower at 6:30 already. And by 9 the cleaning lady was like a whirlwind through the tiny apartment. Would I book it again? If I have no money, maybe for a night or two.
- Yuki (1/5): Bad - Location The people who were sharing the flat together partied a lot even though there was a rule and they smoked. I complained about it and asked to be moved but they didn't do anything about it
- Shannon (5/5): Tiny space but affordable for area - Extremely small room- more like a closet. I live in Asia so I expected a small space, but this was tiny! No windows and a/c is in the hallway outside the room. With little fan on all night it was comfortable, though. Not sure how hot it would be in summer. Shared bathroom in the hall could be difficult to catch free at times, as I think it is shared with seven different rooms. Location was great, though. Cheap for area. Just don’t have high expectations. Pics are definitely not of a single room!
- Aiko (10/5): Exceptional -
- Khariton (1/5): Terrible hygeine and facilities - Nothing, terrible place. Room was not as in pictures & not up to hygienic standards. I left the premises 10 minutes after arriving. Owners refused to refund so dont expect any common sense.
- Room smelled really bad; mix of food, sweat and moisture.
- Every wall had nasty stains, mold, buggers and other unknown substances. Besides being plane disgusting, I genuinely do not think the air there is healthy because of the mold and bodily fluids.
- The bed was broken and unsafe. Being a bunk bed, it was so shaky that getting up there was near impossible. When at the top, every movement I made make the bed screech and shake. I would not be able to sleep there out of fear the bed would break.
- Yassine (7/5): Good -
- Ingrid (5/5): Tiny room in a great location but cleanliness can be improved - Excellent location close to public transport and many restaurants in the Wanchai area. I stayed for 10 nights and didn't even get fresh bed linen when I arrived. The sheets smelt like it hadn't been washed for months and you could see flakey skin left behind by previous guests. Very disgusting. I did request new linen on the 2nd day but it never came.
- Bola (7/5): Good - The host was very responsive and helpful, everything else was perfect Room size
- Christian (9/5): Superb - Location very good, clean and quiet.
- Quan (8/5): Very good -
- Abby (5/5): Not safe for solo traveller - The landlord / customer service is very friendly. The location is quite nice and convenient too. Power cut on the first night of my stay. No one responded to my message and I had to sleep in a suffocating environment. The power was recovered next day noon.
Security concern: there was a stranger who doesn’t live in the unit appeared in the house, he was found knocking random room door and wandering in the public area of the house. Initially I thought he locked himself out of the room, but then I realized he was not even staying in that unit. No one knows how he got in to the unit and the security guard ended up calling police for help. Not recommend this unit to solo female travellers at all.
The room has only an exhaustive fan and the A/C was outside the room. Not recommend to stay in this unit during summer.
Facilities issue: the bed frame is too small to fit the mattress, so the bed is not flat and you can’t lie flat while sleeping. (Imagine doing sit up pose while sleeping) And you have to be agile enough to climb up to the bunk bed bcoz there is space between the mattress and the ceiling is so small. Be cautious to not bump your head.
The rough edge of bunk bed ladder left me a big scratch scar :(
Cleanliness issue: there was a cockroach body found on the wall of my room. It’s so disgusting. The public area was only cleaned when there is someone check out, which means if the housemates are not picking up their hairs after shower, you will experience water jam. The basin was stuck also.
- Tom (7/5): Good - The location in the middle of Wan Chai is excellent. The host gives good and fast information. The bed was hard to get into since it is very high and the Air Conditioning is located right next to the head, so it's quite loud. Also the comfort is lacking a bit. The room is literally only 4sqm. But if you are searching for a place to stay for a night or 2 it's enough.
- Anastasia (10/5): Very nice placw if you need to be in Center and near metro. For Alone person good. - I like location 1min from Metro.
Security camera, clearness, quite. Professional. Arrangements keys supporting by what's app. No have window.
- Mikhail (2/5): An overpriced dog's booth - Good location. It's not a room; it's a dog's booth: narrow, short bunk where you need tp climb using wobbly ladder; absolutely no spare space at all. Quite stale air; there is a fan, but it doesn't really help, and too noizy.
- Martin (3/5): Poorly ventilated, small and no windows - - Close to Wan Chai MTR
- Good price
- The contact on WhatsApp was trying to be helpful and kind Where to begin…
- The room is extremely small
- No windows in the room or in the hallway makes it quite depressing and most importantly very poorly ventilated
- There’s a pretty bad smell in the hallway which I’m not sure is because the lack of windows or the aircon needs cleaning or perhaps because the flat is not ventilated and the tenants don’t know how to close doors after taking showers and keep the fan on
- There are other 5 units in this tiny flat. It gets extremely packed
- The WiFi was okay but latency wasn’t that good. Not great if you’re having meetings and want to work remotely
- The room didn’t have aircon. All there was is a tiny fan that blows that smelly air from the hallway into your room. Not great
- The bunk bed stairs need to be fixed. Right now it’s a climbing hazard as the stairs are more of a swing rather than stairs
- The bathroom & sinks were permanently clogged…
- I found the check in process way too complex. So many chips, keys, gates… just give me 1 set of keys with everything I need so that I don’t have to go through a treasure hunt of collecting keys as if I’m in an escape game…
- Xia (1/5): Catastrophic moldy room - dramatic condition of your room. There's:
vast amount of hazardous mold and falling off as powder from wall
AC not functioning
bathroom sink not draining even clear water
- Dário (1/5): Worst experience ever - Nothing, it’s like a cube box super claustrophobic No space for my bags, tiny tiny tiny, room was not clean at checkin. Very early checkout.
- Oksana (7/5): Good value for your many. May stay again - pretty central location, well connected with public transport and close to various restaurants and stores. metro and tram station within 3 min walk. Lovely grand folks on the first floor The bathroom was clogged a couple of times, but they fixed it within 3 days or so
- Veronica (1/5): Terrible, the worst hotel in my life - Terrible, the worst hotel in my life Terrible, the worst hotel in my life
- Amro (2/5): Very poor -
- Kazuya (8/5): Good Stay - ・Check-in procedure. Well organized instructions. It was easy to get to the room.
・Owner of the accommodation. The person provided all required information via WhatsApp. It was very helpful.
・Location. Many restaurants, grocery stores, money exchangers around the accommodation. ・Room Key. I stayed in Room No. B. The key works sometimes and doesn't work sometimes. It was not comfortable moment. Let me advice you to get the key or door repaired (like changing the key and door parts, applying a grease etc..). It was not a huge problem for me. But some your future guests might take it very seriously. Better to take an action for your future guests and to avoid bad reviews.
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ranal (5/5): Passable - Good location, helpful staff. Rooms look much better on the pictures. Some walls seemed to have mould.
- Maurice (9/5): A PERFECT LITTLE GEM IN THE HEART OF THE CITY! - Perfect location, the metro is less than 100 metres away, with lots of different bus stops and the tram is just over 100 metres too. All clean and tidy, with a small kitchenette to do some basic cooking and even keep your food in the fridge and shelves. The room was completely quiet, clean, bright and airy but there are no windows though. All in all, a perfect little place to stay in heart of the city. I'll be back! 🙂 The bathroom needs to be cleaned a little more often.
