Guest Reviews
- Chelsie (1/5): Unorganised and unprofessional - Nothing, the experience was terrible. The fact we did not get remotely what we booked was significantly smaller. The check in was 2 hours late and when we did check in, the cleaner was having a cup of tea and some food and said she would be 10 more minutes cleaning. We left came back 30 minutes later and she was still cleaning. The codes provided were temperamental.
- Antonio (1/5): - Booked this and received confirmation. However, when it came time to check-in, I never received the codes to a door or check-in information as stated in the confirmation. The property owner Idris did not respond to calls or messages so I ended up having to book a different location for my family to stay last minute. We showed up and were left on a street looking around with no response as I called multiple times. Location is also not great! If a room even exists because the address took us to a Columbian baker not an apartment. Scam in my opinion! Had to contact Booking for a full refund.
- Silvia (1/5): Scam, beware of this place. - Real scam: please do not trust this host. I'm pretty sure the good reviews you read are faked ones created by the host. Nobody's ever answered to our messages through booking platform, nobody's ever given us a code to open the door. Only answering machine to the phone. Stay away from this. Shame on booking.com that allows this kind of host being promoted on their website. Real scam: please do not trust this host. - Marsuia Denisia (6/5): - Hi I waiting so long to get key code still night 8 clock check in. From 3pm
- jennifer (1/5): - I am curious about this reservation. I did NOT make any such reservation and found that my American express card had been used WITHOUT my knowledge or authority. The pending transaction was cancelled by amex once I notified them of the fraudulent transaction.
- Azeez (1/5): Scam - Scam Scam
- Emily (1/5): I do not recommend. - Very disappointed, miss sold.
Kitchen had been cleaned and bathroom. Booked for four. Bedding for 2 provided. Called the owner, no answer. Bedding provided covered in hairs. Couldn’t stay as felt the flat was unclean and unsafe - broken window on landing.
- Simon (1/5): Shit didn’t stay where we were meant to and made our stay unbearable. It was like a sauna in room no fan or aircon. No t - Nothing because got scammed and didn’t stay there got moved to crap replacement 🤬🤬🤬 Got scammed
- Burlakova (4/5): Disappointing - location with a lot of shops around, walking distance to Lambeth We booked accommodation for 4 people, but there were no bedclothes for all of us.
- Wojciechowski (5/5): Passable -
- Marketa (8/5): Very good -
- Caroline (7/5): Great time away - Property was easy find and was big for me and my 5 children and people were easy to get hold of when I had problems with the code to get in. Only thing dislike was entrance smelt a bit but apartment was clean, spacious and well equip and wasn’t far from tub station or bus stop
- Silviana (8/5): Good experience - Good location, accommodation was peefect for a big family!
- Morteza (1/5): Bad -
- Dr. (4/5): Good location, kitchen and double bed too. Really bad sofa bed and stinky duvets. - The location is good. The kitchen was good equipped.
It is ok if you are a couple and you sleep in the double bed. The duvets and pillows needs urgently to be wash, they stink.
The sofa bed is a nightmare, that cannot be called bed because it is impossible to sleep there.
It is so uncomfortable! There are two iron bars that you will feel in your body.
Once to make the check out there is no place to leave your suitcase.
- Thomas (6/5): Was alright. Noisy flat above - It had a smart tv in lounge was good The shower drips and leaks through the curtain seal.
No decent bedding for the sofa bed.
The flat above was extremely noisy in the middle of the night.
- Lucy (1/5): And nightmare - never again use this host - We can’t comment has we didn’t have access to the property - due to no communication from host. The property was in a poor location and difficult to find, there had been an attempted murder when we arrived. Hallway was very dirty and outdated compared to pictures. We couldn’t access the property, cleaned allowed us into hallway and tried to contact owner no success.
- Saija (2/5): Poor quality accommodation - Good transport connections nearby. When I booked this accommodation, it had a very good rating and was described as a luxury, stunning apartment. In reality this is a run-down apartment with bad indoor air. The apartment should also be cleaned better.
I tried to cancel my reservation after the apartment started to get some very bad reviews and I was beginning to worry about the safety and health of my family if staying in there. At first, the owner didn't answer my messages. When I finally reached him, he refused to make cancellation with refund and claimed that everything is fine in the apartment. He therefore does not acknowledge the apartment's shortcomings and claims that the critical reviews come from no-show guests. This property owner cannot be trusted at all.
In the end, we went to the apartment, but did not stay there over night. We booked another, decent accommodation. I recommend looking for a better place to stay!
- Georgia (5/5): Passable, basic, would not return. - We stayed in the bottom flat (the top flat is also owned by the same company) for two days with our two children (age 8) Generally, the property is quite basic. It is comfortable but could do with an update / refresh and is overall a bit run down.
The first evening, no problems with the upstairs flat occupant - however they woke up at 4am to check out and we could hear their every move. The floorboards are very creaky and this did disturb sleep.
The second evening, the upstairs flat occupant was a new person ( a teenager) and had a party from 7.30pm which involved several people in and out going up and down the stairs and corridor (adjacent to our front door) playing very loud music and smoking weed. The manager was contacted but took over an hour to turn up. By this time, we had rung the police as the rowdiness became violent and we were concerned for the safety of our children (but also the children upstairs as we could hear what they were arguing about.) The police emptied the upstairs property around 11.30pm
Our children slept sideways on the pull out sofa bed in the living room which was perfect for their size but unsuitable for an adult. The property was clean and additional bedding was provided for the kids. The location is within easy walking distance of Elephant & Castle station which is why I booked it. The properties front door is on the street in a bakery and felt unsafe when trying to gain access as anyone could see the code / enter the corridor with yo before you realise.
Overall, it is cheap and passable so a good budget option but in need of some basic refurb. The first evening, no problems with the upstairs flat occupant - however they woke up at 4am to check out and we could hear their every move. The floorboards are very creaky and this did disturb sleep.

- Natalie (5/5): Passable -
- Mariusz (9/5): Superb -
- Jamie (10/5): Exceptional - Great host, really responsive
- Rhonda (1/5): Terrible!! Not safe!!! Not fit to be rented!! - The cleaning lady was nice EVERYTHING! It wasn’t is a safe location, we were being followed one night. Our fitness night the show leaked out the side flooding the bathroom floor and coming out from under the door into the kitchen. Then the next night after showers water was dripping down the wall into the light fixture. It made the lights turn on in the living room. The wall fixture was too hot to touch and was sparking. When we called the contact number they said they would send someone to come look it the next day… what really! This was a major fire hazard and they wouldn’t send anyone to come check it out. We evacuated and moved to a hotel!!! At midnight! We were exhausted from touring the city all day and then this happened. We need to be compensated for our stay and the days we didn’t stay due to it being unsafe. This place shouldn’t be allowed to be rented out until all the issues are fixed! It ruined our day and part of our vacation time in London!
- Tafur (10/5): Comfortable AND well located - Location, clean AND close to public transport. We stayed at the one bedroom apartment for 4 people, the bed and sofa-bed were comfortable, it's not broken as I read, and you can make it bigger in 3 parts, it just need how to move or complete its parts, clean apartment with all necessary things at kitchen, secure AND close to a MC Donald's and a Tesco 2 minutes by walking, bus stop in 3 minutes by walking, elephant & castle underground station (13 minutes by walking and there is a saintburys in this way), kennington underground station (10 minutes by walking), we were able to reach all monuments by bus in less than 20-25 minutes which means is close to London main points. I definitely recommend this apartment if You are staying a few days in London in a small but very well distributed space, not Fancy but for us perfect. Idris was in contact, asking for our lodging. The amenities were much appreciated (tea bags, shampoo, towels, soap). This is the hottest summer in the UK so the provided fan was fine but may be another one would help. Everything was fine, it's small but very well distributed apartment with all necessary things.
- Anthony (1/5): It was a horrible stay and made me spend more money to book another 2 days at Travel Lodge Waterloo. - They were not providing breakfast. The location was not good at all for the price we were charged. I discussed with the guy who pretended not to be owner who came to changed the sleeper coach and I requested him to meet up the following morning to discuss the whole issue, but he did not take my calls and messages. I sent him another message the following day advising him that we are moving out of his property because it was not safe for us to stay there. I sincerely requested him for at least refund for 1 day, he refused. Because this will deceive a lot of customers in future and for the price that we paid it does not match at all. We moved to a better place at travel Lodge Waterloo which was better, clean and located in a safe place. The location of the property in the first place is shanty and the entrance is in the pavement where people are disturbing you even when trying to enter the pin for the lock. There is a long, narrow & dark corridor when entering until you are tripped by steep staircase that nearly injured my wife. The house looks newly renovated/painted but there are some insect's bites at night and when the occupants of the floor above move in their house there is a totally disturbing noise that makes you sleepless. The windows are right at the roof/balcony that other people you don't know just make moves and can easily break into the house and there were no air-conditioning to cater for the closed windows.
- Jolanta (1/5): Don't bother!!! - Nothing. Accommodation was cancelled on day we arrived in London. Absolutely disgusting!!! Accommodation was cancelled on the day we arrived in London. We planed to stay one night and return day after on train. Vendor didn't provide us( 8 people ) with substitute accommodation accurately he switched his phone completely off. Absolutely disgraceful. So we had nowhere to sleep and return tickets for train for day after. Booking.com was not helpful at all. Definitely don't use it again!
- Jo (1/5): Disappointed not what was advertised. Won’t recommend to stay here. Messaged owner and didn’t reply - Nothing it wasn’t what was advertised No toilet Roll in the bathroom , broken sofa bed, stained mattress for sofa bed disgusting, soaking wet bedding for sofa bed, dirty bath mat on the floor, no TV aerial so couldn’t watch tv. Took my daughter for a birthday treat to London and was very disgusted with the accommodation
- Iain (4/5): Photos are highly misleading. - Location We are a family of 4 (couple with 2 teenagers) and stayed in the one bedroom apartment for 5 nights.
When we booked this accommodation, it was described by the owner as "stunning" and "a luxury apartment". It also had great reviews, but strangely by the time our trip came, it only had a 6.6 rating.
Accommodation in central London is very expensive therefore landlords take advantage of this to overcharge for poor quality accommodation.
Before booking this place, please be aware that the photos have been photoshopped or at least are highly misleading.
The apartment is tiny, there has been a water leak/mold on the bedroom ceiling, the floor is uneven and you can hear people walking above.
When you enter the building the hallway looks rundown, there was a big pot of paint left there the whole week, and the carpet is dirty.
The bathroom is completely run down, water from the shower leaks onto the bathroom floor and the shower does not drain properly.
The bed is okay but the sofa beds are broken: we had to put cushions underneath so that the boys' feet would be at the same level as their heads.
The kitchen was okay, and was reasonably well-equipped. We didn't cook but for breakfast it is sufficient. Wifi works ok.
The apartment had not been cleaned properly (in particular, the toilet bowl). There is no AC but they brought a portable fan, which made it bearable.
If you are 1 person or a couple and are on a tight budget, this could be an option, but for a family, it's definitely too tight.
In summary, "stunning", but not in a good way.
- Pam (1/5): Bad - We had a booking but didn't stay here. We were given access to an apartment that was occupied by someone else including their luggage etc Nothing to like. Being given access to an incleaned apartment that someone else was using and now the owner us refusing a refund. We booked another hotel and stayed there for the night...AVOID THIS PROPERTY COMPLETELY!
- Mainprize (7/5): Good - The apartment was clean and tidy. New mattresses wouldn’t go amiss.
- Miji (9/5): Anyway if you find place where convenient for traveling middle of London , I would recommend here. Also you can cook and - The place located very easy to travel middle of London. Upstairs make noise around 11pm so I couldn’t sleep till late. I am quite sensitive with sounds.
- Victoria (5/5): Good location, but... - Close to where we wanted to be. Good wifi, great TV.
Handy for food - supermarkets and fast food very close by. Described as 4 double beds, actually 3 doubles and a single. Also, the 2 double beds upstairs need mattresses replacing.
Generally in need of a refurb (damaged base of bathroom door, odd sounds from toilet flush and tap, etc.)
Security concerns - bedroom skylight couldn't be closed (no catch or lock), so room was noisy and cold at night. Also, there was no blind on skylight.
No mugs - we had to buy our own. 6 glasses in cupboard, but one was cracked
- Tomas (9/5): Good place to stay for a couple of days - Good location, nearby metro station and Mc right across the street! It was comfortable to sleep and spend some time for group of 4. Easy check in and out. All basic equipment in place. Very good Wifi! Flooring of the apartment is a bit strange. Sometimes it feels like the apartment is curved.
- Силвия (10/5): Exceptional -
