• María Magalí (1/5): A truly terrible experience - Absolutely nothing We stayed in this apartment in London, supposedly a luxury flat for six people, and it was a total disappointment. First of all, the cleanliness was awful: carpets absolutely filthy, sheets wrinkled and dirty, even with traces from previous guests. In a closet, we found used clothes, towels crumpled up, and the trash bin dirty. There was missing bed linen: the flat was for six people, two had to sleep on the sofa bed in the living room, but there was no bed linen provided for them. On top of that, the bathroom sink was clogged, we couldn’t use it. When we contacted the owner, he said he would send a plumber, but no one ever showed up. One of our companions had to go to a hotel because of the conditions. We ended up with three people sharing one double bed. The worst part was the owner’s attitude: when we explained the situation, he became extremely aggressive. We know that by posting this review, his response will be just as hostile, because we’ve seen how he responds to other negative reviews, accusing guests of trying to scam him. It’s pathetic. We strongly advise against staying here. A truly terrible experience.

• Garley (9/5): Great location, comfortable apartment - Great view across the water. We liked using the cable car which is nearby. An annual 10 ride pass pays for itself in only 3 rides. Beds were comfy and property was a great base. Slight kerfuffle getting the keys as the previous occupants were late leaving so the cleaner hadn't finished. The host was immediately available to sort it out and the cleaner let us in and finished off cleaning while we waited.
• Norris (6/5): - We liked the location and the ability to park your car in a safe and secure location. The property had a good range of facilities. We just didn't think it was value for money. We had to collect the keys from a nearby shop which added to our journey unnecessarily. Not sure why this wasn't picked up by the person getting the property ready for the next client. The location is very close to the O2 if using transport, but costly if using the air bus to reduce the time to get to O2 etc. We also had to contact the host to sort out the fridge that wasn't working. We had to wait a day for the fridge to be replaced by someone who let themselves in and left it in the front room with the request to wait hours before switching it on. This was not great as I had medication that needed a fridge to keep it at a particular temperature. We appreciated the host enventually sorting this but we didn't feel this made our stay as positive as it could've been. We also had to request a 'how to' video to know how to use the sofa bed. Again, don't understand why this wasn't automatically sent and why you had to request the video. Seemed very unnecessary. The property had most things we needed but really don't think it's worth the cost personally. We didn't have anything complimentary to account for the disruption because of the fridge which also didn't make us feel the customer service was genuine.

Host did not respond to our concerns regarding missing amenities during the stay. Messages were sent to the host via Booking.com's messaging platform. 2. The host did not address our concerns regarding the missing amenities, and asked us to give a 10/10 rating without evening acknowledging our concerns at the end of the stay. 3. Expected better from a Booking.com listing

They were so nice and when we had need of getting hold of them it was fast and they were very understanding and accommodating.

The location and view were luxury, but the condition of the apartment was very poor, and not luxurious! See photos: Windows dirty, shower hose broken, mould in bathroom, bathroom fan not working, toilet seat not fitting, floor trim poor, cupboard shelves fixed with masking tape & some collapsed! Drawers that did work very dirty! Towels wafer thin (not at all luxurious) in fact see photo of a hole in one!! Please Can we get compensation for these faults please?
• Amy (10/5): Exceptional - The location was ideal for both excel and the O2. It was an easy tube ride to Canary Wharf to pick up the uber clipper boat for a day in the city. The apartment comfortably housed a family of 4. The key pick up location was easy to find There are a few odd jobs in the apartment that need doing, but overall very satisfied with it.

• Julie (7/5): Good - Great location for where we needed to be around the O2, easy to find, quiet and safe, apartment is spacious, comfy beds, everything in it we needed and generally clean, especially the bedrooms... however the cleanliness in the kitchen needs some serious work. We didn't need to use it other than to make drinks/ snacks but it definitely needs attention. Also, the shower head doesn't work properly, so this also needs attention. Thank you.

• Julien (10/5): excellant - If you are visiting the Excel or O2 or simply wanting to stay over after taking the train to London , the place is quiet lovely to walk around and great restaurants nearby but I do advise booking if you want a specific place or style of food. nothing really , fits the requirements
• Darran (10/5): F1 Exhibition - Excellent location for train station access to travel into central London. We were at Excel for the F1 exhibition, so it was perfectly located for a 10-minute walk over the bridge. As it's an apartment, it was more relaxing than being stuck in a hotel room. View from lounge windows was ideal view of the Sunborn yacht hotel the water and the Excel building. There was only 1 issue sofa wasn't very comfy

• Helen (8/5): Perfect location, Clean and very helpful host. - The property was easy to find and close to the cable cars which the kids loved, Also it was lovely looking out onto the river as I drank my morning cuppa. Unfortunately there were no free toiletries as described and we didnt take any. However it wasnt a problem as there is a Tesco nearby. The only thing that you should know is the garage to park the car is quite small and tight to get my big car in and park in. Space reserved for the car was very tight.

• Fatima (5/5): Difficult check in, Key is far away from appartment. - Very difficult check in instructions. We had to collect the keys from a supermarket that is 20 minute away, and come back. This is 40 min wasted. Also at check out, the cleaning lady opened the door on us at 11:01 am and refused to leave.

Ok location for excel but footbridge to excel is only accessible via lots of steps as lift was out of order so due to mobility issues I had to use public transport.

If you are hesitant about the proximity to city airport, don't be, no interference with you stay whatsoever. Clean, tidy and everything you need. Leaving.

• Carol (7/5): Pleasant overall , well equipped - The location was great The garage was very difficult to get into the spaces are very narrow luckily there were no other cars In there otherwise I’d never have got into the space If you have a very small car you’d be fine!!! Also once in car to leave you have to send someone out to open garage door as you can’t open it from inside!! Also the mould in the bathroom isn’t very nice!! Dust on skirting boards too !!!

• Mfall85 (7/5): Check in and cleanliness need to be improved - View, comfy beds, all home equipment ,close to the DLR station West Silvertown. Responsive owner. We booked our flight and this apt 5 months earlier . Most reviews very good so we were quite sure nothing gonna suprise us. Unfortunately our check in was a one big failure. Someone stole the key box so we couldn't get in to the flat. The owner was very responsive but away from London so he had to find someone to get spare key for us. We and 3 kids had to wait outside for 2 hours in windy, rainy weather When finally someone appeared and we got in to the flat it turned out that the TV doesn't work. The men tried to change the batteries in the RC but nothing changed. He wanted to come the other day to change all the TV but as a tourists we were leaving the flat early mornings and coming back late. Xbox remotes weren't charged, flat sheet for sofa bed was missing. And if you are allergic to dust check all the mirror,pictures frames and top of wardrobe as I found a thick layer of dust there. Pieces of broken glass and dust bunny was under the sofa bed. Thanks God the hoover was there. I really don't like to give bad reviews. Why the flat wasn't completely checked and ready before our visit?
• Shannon (7/5): Lovely apartment with beautiful views, clean, nearest DLR or tube is to Custom House, but worth noting you do have to wa - Beautiful view, very clean, very safe, bottled water in the fridge, helpful responsive host. Tv remote didn’t work (we tried to change the batteries) didn’t bother us too much as the kids had their iPads for the evening anyway but perhaps would of been handy for the kids early wake ups. Not enough cutlery or dinner plates for 6 people.

• Raphaela (6/5): For a short stay and if you're not too fussy about cleanliness, it's a great place to stay. the area is exceptio - the host is incredibly friendly and responds very quickly to questions and always answers. The area around the apartment is beautiful and the view is great! The check-in itself is very easy, but it is quite a walk from the place where you pick up the keys to the apartment. For me, with luggage and pregnant, it was very tiring and involved a lot of stairs. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the apartment is not as expected. Cables for charging the Playstation controller were missing, which is why they couldn't be used.
