• Salomé (8/5): - C’est la deuxième fois que je séjourne dans cette homestay. Le personnel est vraiment très accueillant, le lit et l’oreiller très confortables et les draps très propres. Il faut compter entre 30 à 40 min à pieds pour rejoindre les principaux centres d’intérêt d’Hanoï. Sans être sale, la salle de bain était cette fois-ci moins propre que la dernière fois et aurait mérité un meilleur nettoyage.

• Anni (9/5): - The host was so lovely and welcoming! The dorm was very spacious, bed was comfortable and the property was overall clean. Located a bit further from the center but it's very easy to get around. Would recommend for a nice and quiet stay! Sometimes a bit hard to reach the staff, depending on what you're looking for it could be a bit isolating, only one toilet in the dorm.
• Daniel (9/5): Lovely place to stay where the staff make it superb. - Although this homestay was very nice, it was elevated to a superb stay by the beautiful Jean, who made our comfort and enjoyment her highest priority. We arrived extremely early in the morning, and Jean realised we were there and immediately came out and prepared a room for us, going way above and beyond to make sure our young children could get some rest, even though we weren't due to check in until the afternoon. The facilities were nice, comfortable, spacious, quiet. It's in a courtyard, and the cafe is very nice. The location is convenient for Fuji-Mart and nice restaurants and it's in a regular part of town, so not catered around tourism. Jean is a talented painter, and her artwork is displayed through the home, which is a really special bonus of staying here. We stayed here because we wanted to visit the Air Defense Museum and it was a perfect location for that, but if you wanted to see the usual attractions in the Old Quarter, it is just a little further away.

• Maarten (10/5): A nice calm place, full of energy - Such kind and engaging people. At some moments being here is like being on a bustling train full of energy being brought to all nice local places and having dinner together. They really want to see you happy and connect people together. Normally I am less engaging than this and it sometimes felt like a wild ride for me, full of energy,, but the people and place have stolen my heart. If you want calm, this is a good place too. If you want engaging and fun, it is also the right place. Some places can make shy people less shy and this is one of the places that could. -

• Peter (10/5): Forget hotels, stay with family. - The property is exactly what we needed at the end of a few weeks going from South to North Vietnam. Having a kitchen made me so happy as I love cooking and being more independent when travelling. The Cafe down stairs is an absolute winner though. Jin is honestly one of the coolest people in Vietnam. Go Hard or Go home sums up this small but MIGHTY WOMAN. Fun, funny, energetic, kind and an amazingly skilled artist. Her attention to making the people staying with NGAO feel part of her family made all the difference to the tail end of our trip. Sharing food, going on walks, markets and morning Pho with Jin are memories I will treasure forever. That we had to leave it.
