• Karen (9/5): Very cute stay, good location. - This little unit was in a good location, a short walk into the main part of town. It was a great size for 2 with a fireplace which kept the whole place warm. The cottage was very cute, nicely decorated and the host provided excellent directions for finding and accessing the accommodation.

• Barrie (5/5): Passable - There was no signage to indicate where the property was. this is especially important as it's hidden around the back of 250. I eventually knocked on the door of 250 to see if they had the owner's contact details as I had no info from Booking.com re the lock box code. The wireless is not the same as was indicated on the sheet (too many "Z's from memory,& so the password was not correct. You need to tidy up the garden too.

• Emmanuel (4/5): Its ok but not for us. - Maybe the location and friendly neighbourhood with lovely dogs and old homes. Very friendly and welcoming host. Didn't have much privacy as the house attached could see into our room. House next door we could hear all their conversations. We have a new pricey car so parking under a very old garage was scary. The garden could do some work to make it nice and relaxing. Also if a number 250A be put in the front of the property would help people find it as our friends who came to collect us could not locate the accommodation.

• Kmc9 (1/5): Bad - Nothing It was a rip off..booked accommodations thru booking.com and monies taken out of my account days before arrival. However there was no one available on specified date to let me into accommodation. Nor were any of my phone calls or emails answered by the owners to find out what was happening. Would not recommend this place to anyone, even my worst enemy! Trying to get refund has been impossible and highly frustrating...still trying weeks later. So be very wary of booking this accommodation thru booking.com.
• Matthew (1/5): We would not stay at this property - it is not up to standard. - We were not given the code to enter the property. Numerous calls were made before we got the code. The property was hard to find - there is no street number or visible access. There is no privacy as it looks directly into the adjoining property. Property is overgrown. The Carport is old and dilapidated. The property was dank, musty and dingy. The access paths were very bad. Due to allergies and the access issues (my wife has mobility issues) we left the property immediately. We paid $225.00 for the night and did not get any money back. For that price and a 4 star rating on Booking.com we expected a lot more. We were very disappointed in this property.

• David (8/5): Loved it! Would stay again. - The owners have done a great job restoring a historic building to bring it to modern living standards but still retain its character. The wood fire heater was good on cold nights. Location is close to the Bathurst centre. Just a word of caution that it is an older property and there are slightly uneven floors and some steps to negotiate.

• Matthew (10/5): Exceptional - Everything, the charm of the property, the location was great with no traffic noise. Fireplace was a bonus and the price was spot on. Why would u stay at a hotel for this price.
• Peter (10/5): Great place loved the wood fire would definitely stay again - Location was great. The place was amazing, it was well kept and easy to use all facilities. That booking.com didn't provide me with any check in details so I had to disturb the host to get the lock box combination to get the keys.
