Guest Reviews
- Anna-Mikayla (7/5): -
- Dot (8/5): Pleasant enough for a short stay. - Spacious, amazing view, quite new-ish/modern Weird method of acquiring the key (esp for a not-young person)
only 1 key was provided - inconvenient if 2 people coming/going separately (though this seems to be common practice I’ve discovered). Towels were way too small & insufficient
- Maxie (10/5): Great stay, great location and very helpful and responsive staff - Location, sunny, nice views
- Leeanne (9/5): - Location was great for our needs
- Jordyn (10/5): - The location was great, and a big spacious apartment, easy check in! Everything was great!
- ReefL (7/5): Once you find out how to access the building, the apartment is nice. - Nice and clean kitchen, bedroom had a very nice view and a comfy bed.
Balcony was cool (see below) Tried to find a way to get into the building, but I had to cross the road and guess the code. Oh, and also, guess which key box it was out of several.
(but needed a clean)
- Zara (9/5): - Pretty viwe, comfortable apartment, and overall relaxing Depends on the person, my partner loves hard beds but me personally I don’t but I still really enjoyed my stay 😊
- Tracey (8/5): Would absolutely use this host again. Super convenient and happy with my stay. - The unit was close to where I needed to be. Host was super patient and lovely to talk to as I couldn't find the email sent to help me find the keys. That was absolutely my fault and he resent it which I appreciated. Unit was clean, city views at night beautiful, bed super comfortable, large fridge, lots of storage, balcony area and super close to the lifts. The body wash smelt masculin, would have appreciated a neutral smell and the towels smelt damp, were thin and small in size. Also unit diffuser was strong maybe something less intrusive. Pillows look like they need changing.
These aren't a big deal but would add to the beautiful space they have to offer.
Yes my smellometre is very sensitive.
- Vesna (4/5): Disappointing -
- Janet (10/5): Good place to stay - Very neat and clean. Spacious home with great city views and close to trams, supermarkets and the city. Very quiet building. Easy to find and helpful instructions. We liked the apartment and everything was satisfactory. A guide to what's on around would be helpful.
- Julie (4/5): It was disappointing. - There was no breakfast and we didn't expect it. The location was good. We have stayed in that building in another unit and it was far superior. The owner needs to some maintenance at the property. Cleaning the grout in the bathroom, the shower floor is splippery; there is dirt around the drain for the tap which has obviously been there a long time. the crockery was sparse and only one teaspoon. There was a collection of various condiments left by other tenants, but we would have liked some black tea. the verandah was dirty with cigarette butts in the corner. The door over the fridge is not legal (not the owner's fault as it was built incorrectly) and it is so big you have to squeeze around it to get into the kitchen. Same applies to the washing machine. The towels were threadbare. The aircon is badly positioned and too small for the unit which has floor to ceiling glass windows which get very hot. The bedroom is small and can only take a double bed; the clock doesn't work and there were no batteries for this and the remotes. the blind in the bedroom has some wear and tear. The foyer is lifeless and the exterior of the building is filthy. All in all it demonstrated that the owner doesn't understand what tourists want but is happy to take their money. Please don't blame the cleaner as he has limited cleaning responsibilities. Sorry but you need to take some action. We don't expect luxury but it was missing basic items. I have worked in tourism and expected a better product. I have photos but wasn't able to upload them.
- Wilma (4/5): Mmmmmm. - Location. It was close to work. No parking. I got a $100 fine. As I don’t understand the parking rules in Australia. The blinds in the apartment was old and did not close. as this was a road facing unit I could not close them therefore is gave every one a show (surprised I was not locked up for that). No room service. Not even 1 day in the week I stayed there. The shampoo and conditioner that was provided was someone else’s old stuff they left behind. The washing machine was hidden behind the bathroom door and even the contact person via booking.com battled to find the location. As I was by myself. I had no need to close the bathroom door. Don’t think I’ll be back.
- Kymberli (10/5): I would definitely book here again. - The apartment was comfortable and had everything I needed for the say. There are many things to do within walking distance and if not the tram stop is very close by. The host was easy to reach, quick to reply and pleasant.
- Manea (10/5): Perfect comms and easy! - Loved the view and how easy everything was The property wasn’t as clean as we expected it to be, the wall art was broken and for some reason placed in the kitchen and the pillows looked as if they were used, they had a lot of hair on them, there was a lot of small things all over the floor and old food under the tv cabinet
- Karen (6/5): Location ideal. - No complimentary coffee/tea/milk. Not enough towels for the stay.
- Judith (10/5): Perfect location, spacious, stylish & clean 1bed apartment with wonderful views. - Perfect location, easy self check-in process, spacious, stylish & spotlessly clean. Views are amazing especially at night. Loved having a balcony and windows that opened!
