Guest Reviews
- Audrey (3/5): Would not stay here again :( - I liked how big the room was and having a balcony. The host was kind in letting me pay 306K for one night instead of the 313K I owed because he wasn't there when I checked out to give me change for the rest of my big bills. So he did let me pay a bit less for the night which was appreciated. The communication with the hosts was poor, sometimes they would take a really long time to respond (i.e. I asked the morning of my departure if I could have a late checkout, I had texted them multiple times that morning about this and my payment and they kept only responding to my payment questions and not the late checkout... they finally responded to my checkout request only 7 minutes before I was supposed to check out..... also they forgot to tell their cleaner that I had a late checkout and he walked into my room while I was in there). The room did not feel super clean, especially the bathroom. I did not enjoy my shower and there was a lot of hair on the bathroom floor unfortunately. Also, the whole key system was kind of confusing because the lock for the main door to the property was inside the door, so you had to put your hand in this small cutout of the door to unlock the gate and it was not easy. If they put the lock on the outside instead of the inside this could be resolved. Also, the rooms don't have any numbers on them, so I had no clue which room was my own and had to wait for them to respond on WhatsApp to enter my room. Additionally after all of my inconveniences with this stay and the host, upon me leaving they sent me a very generic message asking me to tell them any of my concerns instead of leaving a poor review, which I did not feel was fair, as I would've liked to know these things before booking here. I have screenshots to prove all of my claims and would have added them to this review if I was able to, but I see that I can't add photos.
- Jamie (10/5): Exceptional - It was warm and cozy, in a great location in Tay Ho. Owner was very responsive and helpful. This is Hanoi, so there was a lot of construction that started early and ended late. But it was bareable.
- Thúy (10/5): Nice and neat. - Clean and modern. Close with the walking street, restaurants and my favorite West lake. The owner is helpful and responsive.
