• Marie-Anne (9/5): Ideal for a family holiday and walking distance to the beach. Was easy to contact host through mess - Location was ideal. Lots of space and great for pets Microwave on top of fridge not ideal at all even for tall people. We used the barbecue but when we went to clean it, it was all terrible under the barbecue plate, it was all rusted

• Clair (8/5): A really great shirt break with good friends and a very relaxing time. Sonja is super easy to deal with and very accomm - Nice property- close to the beach- good for our group size. Great for the dogs, lots of parking for cars, great deck, two bathrooms. Nothing comes to mind.
• Michelle (8/5): We needed a soft place to fall and this little retreat was exactly what we wanted - We liked the location and the convenience. The house is well set out with a bathroom on both floors. There’s a lovely view from the patio to the ocean would definitely stay here again. I have to say that Sonia was prepared to support us and answer questions at all times she was definitely part of the success of our trip. There was a mop bucket with Jody mop, water left on the veranda.

• Heather (7/5): Good - Lovely place for a getaway. It is within walking distance to the beach. Would have liked to have cleaning brushes for the bbq, says it needs to be cleaned, however no utensils to clean it with. Need to put up a note as to where the mops, brooms are. Had to hunt for a mop only to see it was in the shower beside the washer and dryer. The mattress in the room with the double bed was uncomfortable, needs updating.

• Shilo (10/5): The property was in a quiet location that was super close to beach and a short drive back up to main shops and esplanade - The property accommodated 8 people very well with 2 different living spaces, and the extra large deck for relaxing and bbqing was fantastic. The proximity to beach was so helpful with children also. Large property for parking and backyard cricket.

• Adam (8/5): Great location for penguin parade! - Great location! So easy for getting to the penguins or Cowes restaurants Bringing our own towels and linen made a short trip a lot more effort. Even a hand towel for the bathroom would be nice. Hunted around the house for the remote control (it was down the side of the sofa), and while it’s nice for a house to have a few things like tea bags, sugar and oil etc, someone’s half eaten jar of pickled onions wasn’t that appealing

• Karena (10/5): Cowes red rocks beach stay - House was in a fantastic location. Walking distance to two different beaches. House was well stocked and very clean. We spent most of our time on the huge outdoor deck. Short drive to main street Cowes Nothing
• Rob (8/5): Holiday house with a large outdoor entertaining deck - Sonja was great & happy to accommodate our needs with the arrival of 2 families at different times. The house is at the quiet end of Cowes so there was little traffic noise. It is 2 story with one bedroom, kitchen / living area and a combined bathroom (with largish shower & bath) / laundry / toilet all upstairs, plus a large outdoor deck with a barbeque. There is a child safety gate at the top of the stairs to prevent the little ones from going for a tumble. Downstairs has 3 bedrooms, another living area with the main entry & a small bathroom with shower & toilet. There is a split system heat pump both upstairs & downstairs in each living area. There is a large back yard & ample parking. Not a big thing, but unfortunately there was no dishwasher & the kitchen is small, making it a bit difficult if you were to cater for a large family / gathering. Lighting could be better in the kitchen / living area. It is not fully serviced so you have to bring your own bed linen, towels etc. Ceiling fans in the main bedrooms would be nice on those hot nights. Not close to shops etc.

• Amanda (7/5): Good - The facilities were good, & we enjoyed the upstairs balcony area, where we ate all our meals. Very quiet, clean place to stay. The long narrow staircase. My non drinking 30 year old son fell from the top to the bottom of the stairs as he carried my bags from the upstairs bedroom. He suffered from all over body bruising, but luckily no broken bones or concussion.
