• Victor (9/5): A nice functional appartment - Superb location. I came to attend a conference in Arsenale. In the apartment, everything is nice and functional. It is a really nice, quiet place. The host Daniela, is very nice and helpful. 1. One of the night lights over the bed wasn't working. 2. In the bathroom, it would be very desirable to have a light near the mirror. It is inconvenient to shave without it.

• Elmira (2/5): Our stay was ruined when we found a scorpion inside, despite the apartment being clean and central - The kitchen and bathroom were very clean. The self check-in process was smooth and easy. The location is excellent, with a ferry station (Vaporetto) right at the corner of the street. It is located in a quiet alley while at the same time being very close to the main attractions. I strongly advise against staying at this property. Despite the positive points mentioned above, our experience was not as we expected. On our first night, we saw a scorpion on the wall inside the apartment. For any traveler, finding a venomous creature in their sleeping area is a serious safety concern. We felt completely unsafe and were forced to pack all our belongings and leave the apartment at 1:30 AM to find an emergency hotel at a much higher cost. When we contacted the host, Daniela, her response was dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of taking responsibility for the lack of maintenance, she claimed it was "just a small insect" and "not dangerous," refusing to provide any refund at first. Consequently, we had to contact Booking.com support multiple times. After several calls and escalating the case, we finally received a refund from her. The host still insists that seeing a scorpion (and we only saw the one that was visible—who knows how many more are hidden?) is not a problem. Her total lack of concern for guest safety is alarming. My sneakers were close to where the scorpion was; I can't imagine what would have happened if it had crawled into them!

Daniela is an exceptional host and truly a lovely person, always kind, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. The apartment is impeccably clean, very well equipped, and perfectly located in a fantastic area of Venice, making it easy to explore and enjoy the city. • Leonard (10/5): It only needs one word: brilliant! - We loved the quiet street; the entrance straight FROM the street; the fact that it was perfect for our stay and there was an opening window at the other end from the front door, through which we could emerge - and there was a garden through a wire fence - so green and peaceful - and a private area with a little table & two chairs! The bedroom was a good size, with a very comfortable bed and built in wardrobe. There was a comfy sofa opposite the TV, (with Netflix in English though we didn't have time to watch!), a dining table and very modern kitchen in the central body of the apartment and a good size bathroom with shower, loo, bidet and washing machine. We were in Venice during a very hot spell and so the fact that there was air-conditioning, was a huge and wonderful relief! Our host arrived to welcome us and was charming and his wife was available by text for any queries. We were a 10 min walk from San Marco Square and two minutes from the Arsenale ferry stop. We couldn't recommend this apartment and its owners more. If there are two of you ...... BOOK IT! We were a bit hopeless with the lighting in the bedroom and needed extra instructions..... (due to age, I think I should admit!)

• Margaret (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful and recently appointed apartment. The bedroom is larger than it appears in the photo, the mattress is very comfortable, and the street is quiet. The location is convenient to the Arsenale vaporetto / Alilaguna stop (no steps!), which makes it easy. Good restaurants nearby yet it is away from the busy streets. Daniele and Alberto, our hosts, live nearby and were helpful when we needed assistance with the washer and the air conditioner minisplit. They were super nice, young, smart, ans fluent in English. Loved it all!

• Patricia (10/5): Lovely apartment close to water taxi and restaurants. - Lovely 1 bed apartment, ideal for a couple. It has a sleeper couch in the kitchen/dining room as well. Very conveniently situated 3min walk from water taxi rank as well as lovely restaurants on the riverbank. Nothing not to like, everything you need apart from no dressing table in the bedroom, but I just used the dining table in the little lounge/kitchenette.

• Aleksei (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful cozy apartment in the heart of Venice. Modern renovation, nice design. Well-equipped kitchen. Quiet. Patio in the garden, under pomegranate trees. Contactless check-in. Responsive and hospitable staff. Easy to get to, the water cab pier is 200m away. Osteria 50m away, we liked it. Access to the patio through the window. We had to use a chair to climb through the window. But it wasn't too difficult for us.

• Riana (9/5): Viva la Venice! - Great location right near San Marco square, basilica and ferry stop. The place itself is compact having a good kitchen, bathroom, washing machine. Daniela was very kind and tried her best to help with anything - thank you lovely! Great restaurants and shops nearby. Just loved the atmosphere of Venice - beautiful. Easily walkable around the gorgeous city from this location. There was a well-stocked first-aid kit which came in handy. Hot tip: Book the basilica much in advance so you can actually go inside and see the wonderful details. Because of mosquitoes, we couldn't really open any windows for natural air. There was no iron but it has already been mentioned to the host and they have indicated they will address for future guests, lucky you! A small sign and handbook would help with the unique function of the light switches and other details.

They were very helpful in providing me food locations away from the crowds too. All the amenities were great too. The guy upstairs liked listening to his tv fairly loud but that didn't really affect me as him turning on the tv was my alarm clock 😂.

• Anna (10/5): Excellent - It is close to vaporetto stop Arsenale. Once you get off. It's an easy walk with baggage. The owners were helpful and attentive. The place was clean and modern and secure. It includes washing machine and things you may need if cooking in. The bed was comfortable, and shower pressure was good. Easy walk to San Marco and the Giardini della Biennale. Coffee shop.near by and can have a coffee there or near the water. Supermarket there is one near the Gardens. There is also some restaurants there. I would.come here is back in venice again. Suggestions only. A broom. Some water for when arriving.

• Tahnee (9/5): Great stay close to everything - Cute modern apartment! Small but well laid out with separate bedroom, bathroom and combined living/kitchen area, perfect size for two people. There was even a small terrace to hang clothes out on a line in the sun after using the washing machine! Good AC in living area, but it took a little while to cool down the bedroom (there is a fan that’s provided which we used on really hot nights to help circulate the air). We needed an iron and the host happily helped with that which was great. Safe and quiet location close to 4.2 ferry Which goes to and from the train station and everything else was 10/15 mins walking distance. Only issue was the mosquitos were pretty bad when they snuck in but unavoidable in Venice. Just get bug spray. Extra towels would also be appreciated for stays any longer that a couple of days
• Anonymous (10/5): A fantastic base while visiting Venice. Very comfortable and away from the tourist crowds yet close enough to walk or ca - We had the best three night stay at this property. It was so handy to so many sites and a minute from water bus. Daniela provided information on great places to eat and visit. Places the locals eat which was such a bonus. All within walking distance. Property was very clean and well appointed. Cannot recommend highly enough.

• Sawyer (10/5): Wonderful home close to major attractions, but just far enough to be quiet and dodge the crowds. - Our host, Daniela, was amazing. Friendly, responsive, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile. Staying at her place was a highlight of our trip, and the most we felt cared for our entire vacation in Italy. Location was top notch, the place itself was clean/well-furnished, and our stay was comfortable. It would have been nice to have a broom and/or mop. Walking around barefoot and with suitcases quickly makes a tile/stone floor dirty, and it would have been nice to be able to give it a quick sweep/clean daily. Overall, a very small piece of feedback, everything else was great.

Everything is arranged with a great sense of aesthetics, being useful at the same time. The host, Danielle, is very kind, a prompt response to all our requests.
