• Laura (7/5): - Location was excellent- right along the Main Street and beachfront. The access into the apartment is tricky- the sliding doors are difficult to lock/unlock. The kitchen was great but the fridge was way off with the temperature. Everything froze that we put in it. Needs to be defrosted. Wasn’t overly clean and needs some upgrades but for the location it was great.

• Brown (8/5): Comfortable, close and easy access. - Great spot, surprisingly not too noisy at night being in the centre. Comfortable studio unit. Air-con is great. We were in the Byron Single Fin comp at Wategoes all weekend, We live in Murwillumbah so this was a perfect place to stay, we will be back. The lock boxes may need an upgrade, very tricky to open, I ended up helping a young couple with theirs. The parking garage door was always open, the key did not work. A couple of young crew came into the garage area, late Sat night, so it would be great to get this fixed.

• Wan Qi (10/5): Great Location and Host- will stay here again! - Quick and prompt response by host, Leigh since the day I booked a few months ago. Location is fantastic, less than 100m from the beach with restaurants and shops below the apartment. Very central location. Leigh is an accommodating host. He even had the air con on and when we arrived, the apartment was cool, which was much needed after a hot day out and about. The studio apartment is also beautifully furnished. The narrow lane to the apartment is blocked on one side from 5pm. It is a little stressful for a not so great driver like me trying to navigate to my destination and the location of the apartment building is tucked between 2 cafes which made it hard to find . Also, the body corporate of the building should providing a remote control for entrance instead of the key as the driver will need to get down the car to plug the key into the key hole before it automatically opens.

• Lilly (10/5): Warm, blissful, magical 🤍 - It was gorgeous - the setup, the location, the owner - everything was perfect! Nothing :)
• Tracy (4/5): Over priced, dated and dirty. - Several key boxes on the wall and no indication of which was which. Also located next to the bins from the restaurant next door.
• PETER (7/5): Enjoyed experiencing Byron Bay after 15 years. - We liked the location. Bed was comfortable, adequate kitchen utensils and space to put our luggage. We didn’t like that there was not a top sheet on the bed - this is quite unhygienic. Just having a doona is like sharing the sheets with previous guests unless an indication is given that the doona cover is clean. Also we didn’t like the size of the fridge - too small even for the basics like milk, water & a few veges & fruit.

• ANA Maria (7/5): Well located cosy room - I liked the location. However, it was a bit tricky to find the parking (even though it was well explain). The restaurants around the entry confused me. In addition, the keys box and the parking key point should be better indicated with signage. I am also glad that the room was located in the back and not in the front facing the restaurants. The room doors did not slide properly and where a bit old. The crockery was not clean (the mugs I used, so I needed to wash them prior using them).
• Yanni (7/5): Comfortable and quiet stay, pity about the hot water. - Although the property was hard to find, it was very clean and quiet. I loved the space of the room and that you could cook a meal. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower was great but hot water ran out. Was great for first person but not for the second. The ‘rollerdoor’ wasn’t working too.

• Jemima (8/5): Great price and location. - The host was quick to reply to any questions we had and the apartment was clean and cosy. It was the perfect location. Walking distance from everything. Has an underground carpark that accommodated a large 4WD, so was perfect for us.
• Jenna (1/5): Unacceptable - Nothing, everything was grimy and dirty, i had black feet from walking on the floor for 30mins, the shower was mouldy and dirty. The bedding was damp and smelt really bad. There were 2 cockroaches in the kitchen, the fridge was dirty. Location was good.

• Sharon (8/5): Lovely studio in a great location. - Nicely furnished studio with a very comfortable bed and all the amenities needed. The location was fantastic with some excellent eating places and a bottle shop right next door. I ate at Organic Falafel and it was wonderful! The entrance is via an underground garage between two cafes and I suggest parking on the side street and walking down to find it (which is what I did because the entrance to the lane was blocked off at 3pm and there were people sitting at tables outside the cafes on the street). Once you know where it is you can easily drive down from the other end and enter the carpark entrance. Make sure you read the instructions for getting the keys and opening the garage. It's not hard at all, but you do need to read that email :) My room was double booked and the other bookee came knocking on my door at 6pm because she couldn't get in touch with the owner. I had to call the owner and get it sorted because the other guest couldn't figure out how to call from an overseas phone. I could have forgiven all this if I had been offered some compensation for having to do the owner's job for him and for the intrusion on my holiday. The carpark is also pretty tight. My car is just a Citroen minivan and I would be wary if you've got anything bigger than a compact.

• Amanda (8/5): lovely light spacious convenient apartment - The host was wonderful ,easy to contact and let me drop my bag off early before check in. The apartment felt warm safe and the bed was very comfotable. Great position near beach and shops. Beach hotel was really noisy so you can hear that but it closes before 12. outdoor paved area and entrance stairs a little shabby .
