Guest Reviews
- Alice (10/5): Exceptional -
- Femke (4/5): Unfriendly host - The host was very unfriendly, and even aggressive. She was especially aggressive about the tourist taxes, something was wrong with our bank transfer payment (which we had done immediately after she asked). After only three days had passed, without any warning, she send a message in all caps in Italian, threatening us with legal action. If she's that worried about it and doesn't trust anyone, she should include it in the price here.
It was clean in general, but the bathroom had mold on the ceiling and wall. There was no toilet paper, and the shower had very little hot water. The house itself was ok, but very small. There were no comfortable chairs or sofa, so only the bed was an option to sit in. In the bedroom, a non-functioning security camera was hanging from the wall, it was not connected anymore, but it gave us the creeps.
It would be handy to have some instructions (for instance, on the fridge) about how to put the garbage out, as that was also something the host was passive-aggressive about.
- Ionuț (7/5): Good -
- Dale (7/5): Ok location and flat, but tourist tax payment was such a hassle - Location and complete amenities of the flat - it has a nice kitchen, laundry and AC Water was cold on the last two days of our stay - we couldn’t shower since it was too cold.. lots of mosquitoes too when we entered the flat on the first day. They eventually went away though… also, host asked us to take out the trash but we have no idea how. It’s our first time in Italy - she can’t just assume we know where to throw it. Also, I had to ask a friend for a favor just to pay the tourist tax VIA BANK TRANSFER. The host doesn’t accept cash. Again, it’s our first time in Italy, we are from ASIA - we can’t just do wire transfer for 36 euros, the cost of the bank fees are way more than the tourist tax, there should be an option especially for international tourists to pay the tourist tax VIA CASH.
