• Michela (10/5): Felt like home - The hotel has been refurbished with taste and has a nice homey feeling. Attention to detail and charming atmosphere make it a special place. The bed was hard but very comfortable. Unfortunately, the property is located next to a garage, and some rooms have windows on that side, which makes the view not super attractive, best rooms are on the other side.

• Megan (10/5): - A beautiful hotel. K5 is definitely worth the money if you’re looking for a special stay. The room was far bigger than expected and staff had chosen a great selection of records for us. We enjoyed the complimentary mini bar and enjoyed the bar, taco restaurant and coffee shop attached.
• Bridie (6/5): Spacious, well designed rooms but not worth the cost - Enormous, comfortable rooms with gorgeous design. The staff were very friendly. The level of cleanliness was second to none. The location is close to Tokyo Station, but a reasonable walk to the central Ginza shopping district. The BIGGEST thing to flag about this hotel is that you are unable to control the temperature in your room. This was a huge issue for us, as we travelled in February and the concrete floors of the room meant we were constantly freezing. There were also renovations happening in the cafe and restaurants which was not communicated prior to our stay, and the opening hours were variable. For these reasons, we felt this hotel was not good value for money and would not recommend to others.

• Lewis (5/5): Nice bed is the only positive feedback- everything else was below average - The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice. The hotel was cold and uncomfortable- the room was over designed but not thought through very well… The hallway (F2) was cold and smelt of fried fish. There was no atmosphere in the hotel that made one want to be there so it ended up just being a bed to sleep in over a hotel one wanted to spend time at.. The room had two uncomfortable sofas a leather chair and only two small to medium towels in order to dry oneself.. No dressing robe or pillows on the sofa.. there was nothing warm or welcoming about the room or the hotel.. The room has a fun record player instead of a speaker but only x6 records to play with a very niche selection.. I came away feeling like it was budget hotel for luxury money. The view out the window was of the carpark that happened to be approximately 5meters away. This also made the room noisy. We left without making a complaint. Instead we asked for a transfer to the airport - the quoted price was 30’000 yen for a 25 min journey… instead we took a luxury mini van with uber for less than 10’000 yen. Given the above we chose not to eat or drink there… I was happy to leave!
• Yunjen (9/5): 房間我真的很喜歡，不過我們入住的時候暖氣疑似壞了，因為是水泥地整間很冷，時間比較晚所以也沒辦法維修，飯店服務人員也很積極處理，雖然修不好，但有幫我們找一台Dyson暖氣也多給我們一條棉被，算是暫時有解決這問題！雖然比起一半飯店，有一些小地方 - 房間真的很美又有特色，空間也很大，有工作需求在房間辦公也完全不奇怪，服務人員很友善，樓下咖啡廳也很舒適。 房間正對停車塔，距離有點近，會完全不想開窗。

I like the location- close enough to the center without being in the center. Like a lot of boutique hotels these days- lighting could be better. Not a fan of concrete floors but otherwise really liked the place.

Персонал внимательный и всегда готовый помочь. Идти от ЖД станции оказалось дольше чем мы планировали. Практически отсутствует общая инфраструктура.

• Nathan (9/5): Beautiful boutique hotel in central Tokyo - The property is small and thoughtfully designed, which I loved. I stayed in a K5 room and it was spacious with lovely little touches throughout, e.g., turntable with a small selection of records, herbal tea for the evening, etc. The bar downstairs is small but well done and the bartender has a decent selection of Japanese gin, and he made a mean Negroni. As for the location, my opinion is that the Tokyo subway is excellent and there are stations everywhere so no matter what location you choose to stay in Tokyo you can be wherever you want in 20-30 minutes (also, I absolutely did not want to stay in Shibuya or Shinjuku, so the location was great for me). Nearest subway stop is maybe 3-4 min walk away. There isn’t anything I didn’t like. The only improvement that could be made is to the small cafe downstairs; while I didn’t try it, that was because the menu was limited. They focus on waffles and a slightly odd assortment of other items, instead of just offering a simple Japanese or Continental breakfast.

The materials chosen for the floors, the joinery detailing in the bedroom, the lighting design, are all beautifully and carefully chosen. A very nice detail is the record player in the bedroom and the music was on as we entered our bedroom!

Extra-high ceiling creates a unique space yet the fixtures are well incorporated. Excellent. The bathroom floor has a slight step to separate the bath and shower areas. With the tiles being slippery when wet, the extra step might be a bit of a risk to trip over.

• Laura (10/5): Exceptional - This hotel is even more beautiful in person than the photos. The room sizes were huge and kept exceptionally clean. The bed was so comfortable and it was so relieving to rest in after some long days of sightseeing and travelling. It’s located a stone throw’s away from multiple metro lines and 12 mins walk from Tokyo Station. It’s also within walking distance to Ginza, Akihabara, Imperial Palace, and a multitude of cafes, restaurants and department stores. The staff were lovely and very helpful and we even enjoyed a complimentary tea ceremony just before we departed. This was our favourite hotel in Japan by far!

• Vivian (8/5): Beautiful Design, but Not Without Flaws - The hotel has a very unique and striking design, with rooms that look exactly as pictured. The Scandinavian minimalist aesthetic is luxurious yet understated, making the space visually stunning and enjoyable to look at. That said, there were several drawbacks. The rough concrete floors felt a bit unfinished, and while the bed in the middle of the room with curtains was an interesting design choice, it didn’t make the most of the space and felt awkward. There was no TV, and the steps to access the room could be a hassle. The hotel also felt quite empty and lacked any real atmosphere. The location isn’t ideal—across from TSE but not close to much else. Additionally, I asked if I could store a friend’s suitcase for a few hours, and the front desk wasn’t accommodating, as there seems to be no storage room at this hotel. Overall, while it’s very design-focused and has some luxury elements, it falls short in other areas. For the price, I expected more, especially considering the location and lack of certain amenities.

• Marieme (10/5): beautiful stay in Tokyo! - Such a beautiful hotel with spacious rooms and wonderful staff! The location was beautiful and quiet, and close to Tokyo and Nihombashi stations. Every detail in the room was beautiful, and I loved my stay! There is a tiny step downward into the shower area in the bathroom that could benefit from some tape or a little sign to watch your step. Otherwise, no comment!

• Domagoj (9/5): Design stay close to everything! - The design is lovely, with attention to detail. Really nice area, very convenient for travelling in and out of the city. Facilities on site such as cafe and restaurant quite handy in need.
• Anli (4/5): Quite expensive for a hotel with no free breakfast. You pay for the aesthetics and not much else. - Design is nice Heating system was broken, room was uncomfortably hot and temperature was not adjustable. Sink was difficult to use without water splashing over the floor.
• Osan (10/5): Exceptional staff and space, pure tranquillity in the city. - The location was perfect. Very central but quiet. The room was exceptional. Very clean and Zen. Perfect place to relax and retire at the end of a busy day in the city. Literally nothing.
• Mark (9/5): A beautiful, modern gourmet haven in a quiet corner of a business district - Meals we experienced were all fantastic and first class. Mini bar provisions were delicious and high quality. At check-in they explained the hotel facilities with a welcome drink and sweet treats in the snug downstairs bar. They even had the record player playing some jazz when we first entered our room. The decor is really special and we loved the plants and art books. We couldn’t find cupboards or drawers to adequately unpack into so had to live with our suitcases. Temperature of our room was hard to control. It started too cold and remained too hot throughout our three days. Ventilation in bathroom seemed non existent. Charging iPhones etc was difficult. We could only use one power point by the bed with no extra adapters provided and power strength seemed low in the many built in usb sockets.
