Guest Reviews
- ANN (10/5): Charming country escape with thoughtful touches and a perfect location - We stayed two nights at Woolbrook Cottage and absolutely loved it. Arriving on a chilly Autumn evening to a roaring fire, chocolates and a carafe of port was such a warm welcome. The cottage is beautifully decorated, with super comfortable beds, lovely linen and fluffy towels, and we loved looking at the family farming memorabilia.
Our dogs had the best time exploring the huge fenced backyard, and we all enjoyed long walks around the charming neighbourhood. The location is excellent, an easy walk to the Taralga Hotel and the Argyle Inn for dinner. We also loved exploring nearby Laggan and Crookwell, and a day trip to the spectacular Wombeyan Caves. A relaxing and memorable country escape.
- Christine (10/5): Excellent cottage, extremely comfortable and cozy. - N/A
- Matt (10/5): - Fantastic little house.
- Mark (10/5): Great place! Will stay again! - Old school charm. Cosy and comfortable - well stocked with everything you could need for a great start. Some milk in the fridge would have been nice. And the back door entrance is low! Backed my head a few times. 😞
- KATHARYN (10/5): Beautiful - Great location beautifully styled cottage & garden & the host couldn’t have been nicer…thank you!!

- Kristy (8/5): Great little cosy getaway. - It's very cosy and comfortable, the wood fire place is just beautiful and relaxing. It was very suited for my family for our adventure to the caves. No cooking tongs are available, and the ventilation wasn't the best in the bathroom with the steam even with the door open.
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Jacqui (10/5): Really special. Would highly recommend to people that appreciate history and comfort. - The cottage was beautifully decorated with artistic flair and comforting touches. Lovely linen, gorgeous furniture, coffee, tea, and touching memorabilia. Arrived to a lovely log fire warming the place. We had such a lovely weekend exploring the area and Wombeyan caves.
- Simon (8/5): Nice except for the smell. - The place was nice but the smell was overwhelming as it was likely there be a dead animal (possum smell) in the front rooms. We had to close all doors to sleep and get out of the house asap. I trust its been removed. Bad timing for us.
- Sarah (10/5): Woolbrook is a fantastic country cottage, everything you imagine. Thanks Rosey -
- Amanda (9/5): Superb -

- Julie (10/5): Our family had a lovely time staying at this charming cottage, and we hope to come back again soon. - The cottage is beautifully renovated, while still keeping its original features and charm. The bedrooms are really cosy, and the beds are very comfortable. Beautiful garden to enjoy as well.
- Luke (10/5): Great house, warm fire, close to Main Street and a great backyard for kids and a pup - Great family feel, awesome place to spend a weekend. Had everything we needed for 2 families We had a great time. No negative comments about the home
- Xiao (3/5): Freezing - Old and vintage So cold extremely cold and relatively small rooms
- Natalie (10/5): Perfect country getaway! - Beautiful cottage with super comfy beds.. Hosts lit the fire for us before we arrived so was nice and cosy when we arrived (the weather was freezing!!). Really appreciated this as we were unsure of arrival time, but they kept it on for us! So relaxing in the cottage and kitchen was huge! Wished we could have stayed longer.
There is no wifi and no phone service (unless with Telstra) so perfect opportunity to actually switch off and unwind! Make sure you download the map before you go though!! Nothing! Was the perfect location for a country getaway!
- Jessica (9/5): Superb -
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anna (8/5): Very comfortable House in a great location. - Very comfortable home. Kitchen was fantastic. We all enjoyed a relaxed and comfortable stay. needs a few comfortable chairs that have higher bases. One of our party uses a stick and found the sofas very low. Also the entrance path was overgrown and quite uneven again not great for a person with walking difficulties.
- Single (10/5): Exceptional - Home away from home. Kids could run around and play in the large yard. They got to talk to the sheep at the property behind.
Beautiful woodfire, very cozy on a cold night.

We loved the great kitchen area and enjoyed our meals on the large, shady veranda outside. The garden was a delight.
The cottage contained everything we needed to create our meals and thoroughly enjoy our stay.
- Anthony (8/5): Good cottage that suited us fine. The roof did leak after heavy rain (didn’t leak with lighter rain). The drops I saw we -
