The host was super and full of helpful suggestions for our stay. We loved watching the gondolas go by from the living room. There are two separate apts—2br + studio. Beds could be a little softer..

La vaisselle et notamment le nombre de verres n'était pas du tout adapté à la taille du groupe : 3 verres à vin pour 6 et 2 flûtes. C'est un peu juste. Le matelas du lit du studio est un peu mou. il faudrait envisager de le changer

• Mary (7/5): On the whole we had a satisfactory stay, particularly in relation to the location. - 1. The location is superb, just 4 minutes or so from both the San Marco and Giglio vaporetto stops. 2. The hostess Isabella was excellent - she contacted me as soon as we landed at the airport, gave good advice on getting the Alilaguna boat, met us at the vaporetto stop, escorted us to the accommodation and gave good instructions and advice. 3. Having 2 separate studios for 2 couples worked very well - each couple had privacy but were still closely connected. 4. The plumbing and air conditioning both worked well. 1. It was inconvenient that the studios were not fitted out identically - eg, only one had a toaster, or an iron, or a sofa, etc. 2. The mattresses were hard. 3. This is more a feature of the time of year I think, but we opened the windows and were then bitten badly over the next few days by some kind of small flying insect (presumably off the canal). It would perhaps pay to warn people not to open the windows during hot weather.
• Kelly (9/5): A home in Venice - Having 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms were fantastic. The location is unbeatable with only 1 bridge away from St. Mark’s Square. All modes of transportation are nearby. We also loved watching the gondolas go by the apartment. A great way to people watch while staying cool from the Venice sun. Definitely recommend this place. Wish it had better shades or curtains for the bedrooms. A bit sheer for privacy since a hotel and apartments are right across. Also, mirrors outside the bathrooms would be great so multiple people can get ready at the same time.

• Paraskevi (9/5): we had a very pleasant stay - the location was excellent, but , there was no breakfast at all, not even some coffee or a few tea bags....and we had to go around to buy. that was very inconvenient and someone should have informed us about that. another negative point was the cleanliness, the flat seemed very clean , but, when I dropped something under my bed and kneeled to pick it up....what I saw under the bed was ....unbelievable, it had not been cleaned for ages!!!! What we liked a lot was the welcome ,at the water bus station, by Mrs Isabella, who was very friendly, very willing to give us a lot of information, not only about the flat , but, about Venice, also. That counted a lot , especially , when we arrived and wanted to see a few things. She was a lovely lady and made the difference!!!! And above all, the location of the flat was excellent!!!! We appreciated that very very much. Thank you for an enjoyable stay. We would like to come back. cleanliness, particularly, at the not so evident spots

Hostess was friendly and kind and gave recommendations for the area restaurants. The bed linens and pillows were very old and need to be replaced. They did not seem clean and they smelled. The beds themselves could use an upgrade as well.

Ideal for our family of six, much more comfortable than getting 3 separate hotel rooms. Location couldn’t have been better. Only a short walk from the main square. Fabulous views from the windows, able to watch the gondolas row past in the afternoon. A great base for enjoying Venice. Highly recommend. Only slight negative was the noise from the men making deliveries to local hotels. The noise started early in the morning and were quite loud as they were right outside our windows. However, it was not a big deal and it was interesting to watch. Also meant we were up early to enjoy the day which was good.
• Joaquim (8/5): Thrilled to have booked with our host and glad to put in my two cents on improvements to better! - We loved the host for letting us check in early, even before the cleaning crew was complete with their service. Our time walking was minimized drastically due to the location. The place was big enough for all of us and quiet while we slept. Venice decided to tax tourists the day we arrived... not cool, I will remember this. The A/C was not able to be controlled from the remote, which made us use the windows. Don't open windows in March or you will get mosquito bites, ha! Bathroom was functional, but wish the water heater worked longer than 3 minutes. Beds were comfortable enough, but hope could be better. Glad the water was very clean out of the faucet. Probably better than what we get in the United States.
• Claire (7/5): Did the job perfectly, excellent location. - Location was excellent and would recommend on that basis alone. Nice apartment will all amenities. Would be perfect for a long stay. Very noisy as there seems to be a pick up point for the canal next to the accommodation. Started quite early, around 7am with bin men and construction workers. The lobby could have been cleaner, dirty bins and rats visible.

Lovely decor, 2 small apartments for our party of 3. Lots of cooking apparatus. The host meets you at the boat arrival pier and shows you to the property. She was very informative. The cups are really small, there weren’t any plastic bags for waste, everything else good.

• Catherine (5/5): Wonderful location but hit or miss with the apartment. - It was in an excellent location, right near the port where we can take water boat to the front steps. Same with water boats back to the airport. I’m allergic to mildew and it reeked of strong mildew the whole time especially in the apartment that my husband and I were sleeping. I suffer from chronic migraines so little smells/big smells triggers migraines for me.. Also the beds were kind of too hard. I know everyone has their different preferences of the bed they sleep on but for me, I’d wake up with a bad back sore. The kids in the other apartment found a huge piece of hair clotted in the kids’ shower drain that would clog up.. It would rise the water every time they took a shower to the point where they didn’t want to use that shower anymore. We did call the property manager about this and they sent someone the next day but it didn’t help the problem. We’d have pursued this further but we were inky in Venice for 3 days-well 2 days total. So it wasn’t worth pursuing this further.

• Angela (10/5): Wonderful location, spacious and clean apartment supported by a friendly team. - Waking up to sounds of gondolas in the canals. It made for such an authentic experience. A few people have mentioned the noise generated by the delivery boats that drop supplies in the morning, but with 2 young kids we were always up anyway. Nor was it loud or last very long. We had 2 adjoining apartments for our family of 4 which was plenty of space. We were met on arrival by a very accommodating host (Alessia) who shared her thoughts on the best places to eat, things to see and how to travel around. Highly recommend and will stay again. A welcome basket - fruit, biscuits etc would have been a nice touch.
• Annie (1/5): DO NOT STAY HERE! - Location was it… Staff was extremely rude, changed the room we booked, said we needed to add extra fees for our child even though it said only 18yr and up would be considered adults. Then the AC didn’t work and it was around 85 degrees in the room and I’m pregnant and they said it wasn’t an emergency for us to have AC even thought we paid for it and it can cause pregnancy complications.. Booking tried calling them 17 times and they either ignored their calls or acted like they would come fix it and never did.. It was a nightmare, I had to spend hours on a international call to booking and to an AC tech in the states to help get their AC unit working. 100% do not recommend staying here, also booking has reported this property also since they refused to help during the emergency and added on fees that weren’t included and refused to refund the stay or even credit it. Hair everywhere… bugs in the bed (see photo) I would add the hair everywhere photos but I can only add so many.. Just don’t stay here it’s not worth it Also no lift and the “1st” floor is up at least 10 steps…

The apartment is nicely decorated, clean, and spacious. Looks the same as in the pictures. The view from the window was amazing with gondolas passing under the windows all day! My children (15, 13, and 2 yrs old) loved watching the activity along the canal just outside the windows. Finally, the location was perfect! A stone's throw from great shopping and attractions. My family and I strongly recommend this property and its owners.

• Richard (10/5): Great place, great location… pack very light! - We loved the style and accommodations of the apartment. Beautiful! The kitchen was nice, and loved the tub. The bedrooms were a good size for our atay, and we loved the decor and colors. The views of the canals were awesome! We had to wait around half an hour or more in hard rain for the keys, calling multiple times. No apology. The hosts should provide information on water taxis to get guests and luggage to their place. For first time travelers to Venice, this would have saved us a grueling 45 minute walk with many steps in the rain with our luggage.

• Poveromo-mueck (8/5): Location, location, location! - The location of this property is amazing. You open the window on either wall and you're looking out on 2 canals, can watch the gondoliers go by singing, it's central to amazing shopping, and so close to St. Mark's Square. The scenery is so beautiful and this property really allows you to take advantage of that. Also, Isabella and her colleague couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. They communicated with us before to let us know the best way to get to the apartment, met us at the water bus stop, showed us the way to the apartment, gave us all sorts of helpful info and even mapped out a grocery store and restaurant. There was a bit of a strange smell to (I think) the couch. Also, I thought we were getting one apartment but really it was 2 apartments. Not a big deal since we got to have 2 full bedrooms and 2 nice sized bathrooms, but it's difficult to tell from the pictures that there are a few different apartments shown.

It was clean and had all the facilities needed for 6 people including three bedrooms and a bathroom. The host was very contactable and even provided help on how to get there and offered recommendations on places to eat. The apartment had great views with a popular canal way right outside the window. Each morning was spent in awe watching the gondolas float by. I would definitely like to book this apartment again when back in Venice.

Even better, the large windows overlook a busy side canal. it was quiet, but we were able to watch gondolas and deliveries during the middle of the day. and the location was exceptional. very close to everything but away from the crowds. We couldn’t be more pleased with our stay.

• Luc (7/5): Disappointing - the size of each apartment was correct, it was clean and nicely decorated The De Luxe apartment that I rented is actually not 1 apartment of 90m2 , as advertised, but in fact 2 small communicating studios. The pictures are misleading, on purpose or not. The end result is that neither studio is big enough to enjoy a very nice dining.living room to socialize with whoever you are traveling with. These two studios are at ground level and have all their windows (bedroom included) on probably the cross section of the two busiest canals of Venice. It starts at 7am with delivery boats and goes on all day with a constant flow of gondolas, literally 3 meters from your bed . Windows are not sound proof enough for the guests to forget about the noise. by the same token no privacy, you ll need to have curtains shut all the time. The coffee machine is not an expresso machine , but a Moka coffee machine.
