• Leena (9/5): Olemme oikein tyytyväisiä! - Juuri sopiva meille kooltaan ja sijainti loistava. Petra tuli meitä vastaan saapuessamme joten ei tarvinnut etsiä paikkaa. Saatiin myös jättää laukut ja vaihtaa vaatteet ennen kuin huone oli vapaa. Oven lukko oli hiukan hankala, mutta opimme sen metkut kuitenkin. Patalappuja etsimme turhaan, ne olisi hyvä olla kun majoituksessa on uuni. Ensimmäisenä iltana alapuolella olevassa ravintolassa oli hyvin äänekäs seurue, joka häiritsi nukkumista. Äänet kuitenkin hiljeni kun ravintola meni kiinni.
• Gerry (10/5): Location, Location, Location - The location is unbelievable and you couldn't ask for better. The famous steps of shame from Game of Thrones is literally right outside your doorstep. The apartment is stunning. The living area is huge, there's two bedrooms, both with ensuites. The main bedroom has a big comfy double bed and the second bedroom has a single bed and a low kids bed. Both these beds weren't the most comfortable to be honest. The kitchen was perfect, with a proper oven and hob, a full sized fridge freezer, a washing machine and dishwasher. There's loads of plates, glasses and cups etc. I found it a huge inconvenience that there was no frying pan, trying to cook everything in the few pots wasn't easy. The WiFi was great. Being in a historic conversation building the windows were original to the property. The wooden shutters were great. With the windows being old they closed no problem but didn't seal to block out the noise, so it could be quite noisy outside at night given the location. So it was understandable and it wasn't bad where it kept you awake. But all in all it was a fantastic apartment in a stunningly perfect location. We were met at Pile Gate by the host who walked us straight there and showed us around the apartment. She gave us lots of tips on what to do and where to go etc. This was a fantastic touch. I would definitely stay here again The only thing that I can say, not as a dislike or a negative but more as feedback are, The beds in the smaller room weren't the most comfy and the kids bed was small if an adult needed to use it. This room also didn't have air con and it was very warm and stuffy at night and it was April, so I would say it would be very uncomfortable during the summer. There was no frying pan or spatula, so cooking was hampered without these. It could be a bit noisy during the day and at night, however not to the point where it kept you awake. It was completely understandable given a huge tourist attraction spot was right outside your window. But I would highly recommend this apartment. It's absolutely beautiful inside and you can always brag that you stayed in Kings Landing. Advice for those visiting Dubrovnik for the first time, bring lots and lots of money and then bring lots more because you will need it. People say that Dublin is expensive, but I think it's not in comparison to Dubrovnik. . I found it to be much too expensive and felt it was taking advantage of tourists. Everywhere it was all restaurants, ice cream shops and souvenir shops. For example, a pizza €20-€30, a burger €16-€25, a bowl of pasta €18-€28, a side order €8-€14, a steak €38-€60, fish like salmon €28. A pint of beer €8-€10, a coke €7, a red bull €9. At an ice cream shop/stall a very small single scoop of ice cream cost between €3.50-€4.50. A coffee €5-€8 and a croissant €5 We did travel outside the city centre by bus and found a supermarket which was so cheap in comparison. For example, a can of red bull €1.15, Coke 500ml €1.15, a croissant 24cent, can of beer cost between 60cent to €1.10 and food included produce and meat etc was actually cheaper than in the UK. So I could see no reason or justification for such high prices in the centre of town, other than to take advantage of tourists. So bring lots of money
• Snjezana (10/5): Top Lage - Alles war top, sauber, Betten bequem, freundlich empfangen worden, Lage mitten im Zentrum, aber nicht laut. Jederzeit wieder.
• Olga (10/5): - Budzisz się w samym centrum historii. Rano można zejść prosto na targ po świeże owoce, a wieczorem masz najlepsze restauracje na wyciągnięcie ręki. Bliskość atrakcji: kilka kroków od Katedry, Pałacu Rektorów i słynnych schodów jezuickich.To jedna z najbardziej malowniczych części Starego Miasta. Sam apartament jest bardzo przestronny, dwie łazienki, dobrze wyposażony. Wszystko zgadza się z opisem. A poza tym mimo późnego przyjazdu(po 23:00), wyszła po nas właścicielka pod Bramę Ploce. brak

Host was very helpful & assisted with meeting at Pile Gate & helping with luggage. No aircon in second bedroom, made clear in advertising though. Detergent drawer was broken on washing machine. Aircon was struggling in both bedroom & living room. Suspect filters needed a good clean!

• Tomas (9/5): Great location! - The host was very kind, he was waiting for us close to the apartment so that we dont get lost. The location was incredible, next to the Jesuit Staircases (steps of shame - GOT). The apartment was very comfortable, with a lot of space and sun light. I repeat, THE LOCATION WAS UNBEATABLE We didnt feel that the apartment was clean enough, the floor was dirty and we couldnt find any broom in the place. We went with our 1 year old baby who is still crawling. Also we find some bathtowels were old and with stains. When we arrived, the host told us that the shower in one of the bathrooms was not working. We were lucky we didnt have to use it since the apartment have two bathrooms and we were just me, my wife and babyboy.

• marcela (10/5): Los mejores recuerdos en la Dolce Vita , Old Town de Dubrovnik - Ubicación inmejorable ! departamento muy comodo . se aprovecha al máximo conocer la ciudad antigua alojando ahí .El departamento cuenta con lavadora de ropa , y lavavajilla . Te dejan sobres de detergente para el lavavajilla , de cortesía . No estaría mal dejar un par de detergente de ropa de cortesía para la de ropa también . Nos encanto pasar tres noches ahi ! , buena comunicación con la administración , pudimos dejar nuestras maletas 1 hora y media antes del check in, la entrega del depto fue una hora más tarde de lo publicado , pero no fue problema ya que aprovechamos a comer algo por ahi . En la cocina faltaba un sartén , para hacer huevos revueltos ,solo hay un par de ollas . Seria bueno dejar un par de bolsas de basura para reponer . El aire acondicionado esta al limite . Hay en el sector de áreas comunes ( living y comedor ) y pieza principal , la segunda pieza no le llega aire fresco . Se agradeceria un par de almohadas más en la cama principal .

There is some noise from the crowd late into the night but nothing too bothersome. Most facilities were new and excellent. Microwave. Stove. Fridge. Shower in the main room was a bit dated and cumbersome to manage.

• Richard (7/5): Great town, good Airbnb room. - Location. Dubrovnik is a wonderful old town. But it was noisy at night. Nothing to clean dishes, no sponge, paper towels. It was a holiday when we were there so we couldn’t buy any cleaning products. Kitchen amenities were basic with no extras.

We had issues with the aircon unit in the small bedroom rattling loudly but they tried to fix while we were there which we were grateful for. The washing machine/dryer was great. Overall it was okay for our few days but the beds are very firm, the shower did not drain/seal, but these are easy fixes and I’m sure it will be repaired quickly by the hosts.

We can recommend this apartment to anyone who appreciates fine living. - The location is excellent, located right inside the famous market square in the Old Town within a stone's throw from the Cathedral and Jesuit Stairs. The apartment is situated on the first floor with only a handful of steps to climb with lots of shops and restaurants below. Josip was very helpful with lots of recommendations of where to eat and where to visit. All the facilities in the apartment are excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment. None, everything is great.
