• Yoke (7/5): Thank you! Will stay again x - Fantastic location, ample free parking, and clear automated instructions to check in and out. Wonderful looking bedroom, huge indoor space, a lovely outdoor section and has everything you need for a short stay. Great value :) The following can easily be overlooked: There is a slightly unpleasant smell when using the shower. Most likely due to the way the plumbing system is designed. Another thing to beware, there is no door to the toilet itself so if staying with someone else - you'll need to work around it for privacy.

• Philip (5/5): Unclean - The bed and the sheets were clean Just about everything else. Mould and dirt. Powered milk was off. Fridge smelt stale. Air fryer was dirty. Cutlery drawer was dirty and had hair in it. Toiletries were mouldy. Just about everything you touch was very dusty. Dirt and empty drink bottle behind the bed table. No bath hand towels. No tea towels. Courtyard was a mouldy dirty mess. Should have realised when we arrived at the property. Very run down. Even the path out to the room was extremely mouldy.

Very quiet and cosy, close to everything. The bed was super comfy. We just wish our stay could have been longer. We will surely be back 😊

• Kerrie (7/5): Comfortable and affordable in good locality - Nice little area. It has potential but there are a few things that could be improved on. We couldn’t get door to lock at first. The Lockwood lock needs to be serviced. Needed tea towels to wipe dishes. Everything is there just a lot of it, but still very comfortable and very affordable and close to amenities. Liked everything but could be slightly improved on.

• Kylie (6/5): Pleasant - Its in a convenient location & has the basics. Its a large space with plenty of room. There was no light outside the door so when you left in the dark a light didn't come on until you were at the front gate. There was also no top sheet on the bed, only a blanket which was too hot for sleeping. It was also a bit stuffy/stale & to let air in you had to leave door open but there was no screen to stop mosquitoes etc.

Bathroom not clean, previous tenants or someone else disposable razor, hairbands with hair, ear cotton buds… empty toilet paper roll, cobwebs and dust everywhere, daddy long leg spiders in the wardrobe and so on and so on….

Slept on-top of the covers like I normally do and it was spacious and comfortable. Person at the house was polite as well. Only negative thing I noticed (2 b fussy about) really was a little left over rice in the sink from previous persons.

• Michelle (4/5): Not a pleasant experience. - The areas shown in the photographs were fine. The communication with the owner was great. Location was convenient for us. Undercover parking was a plus. Comfortable bed. Bottle caps, bits of plastic, an old sponge and other bits of rubbish littered the path down the side of the property. Smashed orb lights on the exterior of the property. Aircon was set to 26 degrees and overpowering sweet smell permeated the entire interior, had to open all the windows and doors. Cigarette smoke wafted through the open windows/doors. The concrete outside was dirty and furry green. Thick cobwebs in the courtyard on hanging chair next to metre high weeds. Tall weeds from the front of the property right down the side to the entrance of accommodation. There was mould growing on the inside bottom of the water bottle provided in the fridge. The shower smelled bad and was mouldy. There was a discoloured mouldy looking piece of wood provided as a bath mat. None of the drawers to the vanity closed properly and were dirty. The mirror had what appeared to be tooth paste flicked on it presumably from last guests. No door on toilet. The whole front of the property was covered in astroturf/fake grass which was really strange and very unappealing. It just was not a good experience at all and we will be glad to not return.

• Margaret (10/5): Spacious studio - excellent value for money - It is a very spacious studio with plenty of storage space. It was clean. There was a small patio area outside which was very pleasant to sit out on. There was a large fridge freezer and self catering (on a small scale) facilities - microwave and air fryer. It was fantastic value for money. I was a little worried from previous reviews, but we were extremely happy with this accommodation On a personal note, we did not like the open plan bathroom, particularly that the toilet had no door.

• Petra (9/5): Warm, Cosy and Inviting, what more do you need. - The room was really inviting, and smelled amazing, The tv was on with ambient music and the smell of the diffuser was not over powering but certainly did evoke a sense of calm. Given it was a very cold evening when I arrived entering a warm and inviting room was just what was needed to end a busy day. Would love to stay here again. Probably just an oversight but there was no milk in the fridge, all other tea and coffee making facilities were there, just no milk.. not such a problem for me as I don't mind drinking black tea :) No other issues to report.

Owner knew we were coming but we had to ask before he opened up one of the car spaces for us. Walk to the room was a bit of a shock for garden is bad and paving is full of black mold. Place needs a renovation for it is very old and run down. Falling to bits in certain areas. Deceiving when booking online.

Mirrors opposite toilet so everyone in the lounge area could see you in the toilet. 2vanity sinks but only one plumbed up. Possums I’m the roof that kept you awake all night. Very basic nothing was finished off properly.

The room is attached to a home with only a door with fridge in front of it being the separation… you are also required to walk past occupied bedrooms to get to the rented room. Don’t get me wrong was good location comfy bed and decent sleep just awkward location.

• Madeleine (4/5): Has potential - Great location. Clear instructions from host. Comfy bed. Place was very dirty all over, black mold in shower , and green slime / mold on shower door seal. The toilet had a VERY strong odour of urine and debris around the toilet bowl. The floor of the place was dirty, host asked not to wear shoes inside but dirt and debris was getting stuck to feet when walking. It was not communicated that this room is not a separate dwelling, that it is simply the master bedroom of the house that’s separated by a door with a fridge blocking access, in saying this we did not hear occupants of main house but were very cautious. The washing machine was not working, I opened door to do a load and found a drum filled with old water. The main entrance to the room was covered in rubbish and debris. Long and short dark hair was discovered in shower, bathroom sink and on floor. Overall this place has potential, but needs a serious deep clean.
