Aaron (6/5): Nice place. Just don't stay here if you need hot water in the shower - The host was kind and responsive. The décor was thoughtful and unpretentious. The location in Pina is convenient, an easy Uber to the Pina beachfront and to Recife Antigo. The apartment was clean. There was no hot water! There is no water heater, and no electric shower. The listing on booking.com didn't mention this detail. To be fair, the listing didn't claim that there was hot water; it simply omitted that there wasn't. I had incorrectly assumed that there would be hot water, so perhaps it's my fault; I had never stayed at a booking.com property that didn't have it. I'm unable to assess the price and cost-benefit, because I stayed during Carnaval, an expensive time.
