• Aussie-Traveller (10/5): Nothing More to Add! - WHAT'S THERE NOT TO LIKE ABOUT THIS PLACE! In keeping with all prior Reviews, this place is absolutely stunning! It accommodated our family group of 8, comfortably, without at anytime, feeling that we were squeezed for space. The stunning Kithcen/Butler Pantry area with it's meriad of cupboards and appliances, the covered Entertainment Area outside, the massive TVs (with steaming services) in all main areas, is hard to beat! Our only regret is that close family friends, who were also attending the same function in the area, had to stay at the (so called) "Resort" just a few steps across the road. Had we have been more diligent in our inital review of this place, they too could have stayed here; it is that big! We loved everything that Badger House had to offer. The only challenge we faced was a gas fireplace that required a "Masters Degree in Engineering" to operate at times. Luckily we had one of those in our Entourage and we mastered it in the end!

• Ian and Helen (2/5): Experience ruined by registration process. - The house and its facilities were as described by other high ranking reviews. However the experience was ruined by the registration process. The registration process was diabolical. After we had paid in full and just a couple of days prior to arrival we were required to complete a Luxaway specific registration process of a level of complexity that we have not experienced with any one of dozens of Booking.com bookings all over Australia and overseas. This included the requirement for a selfie!! This was particularly challenging as we were on a road trip with erratic internet connectivity. Additionally a $500 damage security deposit was required. This is the first time this has been required with any of our numerous Booking.com bookings.
• Clare (9/5): Ideal in every way for a mini break! - Great facility for four female friends. We enjoyed the separate bathrooms. Heating was excellent especially on the cold and windy day when we arrived. Despite watching the video, we were unable to operate the oven. We wondered if the previous guests forgot to notify the owners. No other issues.

• Sarah (9/5): Fabulous stay and would stay again, - Extremely spacious, and comfortable. Lovely furniture and decoration. Great outdoor space too. Need a car - this is not a dislike but something to bear in mind. Was a lack of hot water for showers one morning. Was ok second day.
• Fiona (10/5): Fantastic property and would definately stay again. - Lovely property, very clean and it was wonderful to have a bottle of champagne, milk and water available on arrival. . A fantastic kitchen with everything you needed. The link to the digital guide book was not valid and there was no way to leave a message regarding the front door. The front door does not lock without you having to use the key when inside. It looks like it should self lock and you could hear the mechanism clicking all of the time so something is not quite right with that. I also didn't like the fact that you could not lock the door from the garage inside the house. There was no key that we could find that would allow you to lock that door.
• Moana. (9/5): Lovely place for group trip - Gorgeous home and the perfect spot for our girls trip with 8 of us enjoying our getaway. Had everything we needed for a relaxing comfortable trip. Loved the fireplace for the cold evenings and the extra bathrooms were great. The only minor downside was the shower pressure and temperature in the extra bathrooms were inconsistent sometimes even with just one person was using it. The primary room with ensuite had no issues.
• Kelvin (10/5): Perfect for a family or group of friends. - The host had provided absolutely everything we could possibly have needed (including a lovely bottle of champers in the fridge to welcome us. The house was immaculately clean and afforded our family of 6 adults and one 3yo heaps of room to spread out. The luxury of each of us having a bathroom was a huge bonus. Lots of great touches, including games and a fabulous outdoor area. The house was within walking distance of the Healesville Sanctuary, which meant we didn't immediately have to get back in the car.
• Liscinda (9/5): Superb - The house is beautiful! It was hired for a wedding where the groomsmen got ready and then the bridal part returned to after the wedding. The home is incredible and has a very luxurious feel. We were very happy and hope to have an event again where we can hire the same property.

• Liam (10/5): Fantastic spot the stay and share the wonderful environs of healsville with family and friends - Lovely, clean and modern house that is suitable for groups of family and friends. This place has a super well stocked kitchen and pantry, ample areas to sit, play games or find your own space. The outside BBq and seatings areas are equally well done. Not much really. Lock box is a bit samall and stiff for the keys. We couldnt get one of the outside bbqs to work, but the Weber worked fine.
• Margaret (10/5): This house has a dramatic sense of occasion for a special occasion! - The property was large enough for all our children and their partners. The 4 bathrooms made for ease of getting ready for our daughter’s wedding….we weren’t under each other’s feet. Every facility was provided in a superbly stocked kitchen and butlers pantry! We didn’t have enough time there to enjoy it….we hope to return for a leisurely get together and chilled family long weekend! Nothing to fault other than booking.coms communication……communication with Luxaway was responsive and helpful!
• Kwasi (9/5): Close to perfection… - Entertainers paradise for sure. Spacious rooms for all my groomsmen to stay. All the mod cons needed were taken care off e.g. 3 different garment steamers😃. WiFi and mobile reception pretty much non-existent. Property seems to have been difficult for rideshare services to locate.

The house is very impressive and great for entertaining guests. Everything you would need is in this house, making it feel like a home away from home. • Fgdixon (10/5): Exceptional - This is the a very high quality and thoughtfully appointed vacation home. Gorgeous for entertaining. Spotlessly clean. Cameron our Luxaway contact was so helpful and engaged in making our stay seamless. As parents of the bride over the weekend, we wanted a low stress, high quality stay and this house was ideal. There was no aspect of our stay that could be improved. Rarely is the reality of accommodation better than the expectations, but this was our experience.

• Caitlin (10/5): Highly Recommend - will be returning! - Highly recommend Badger House! Close to Healesville but not in the main township. We had a group of 8 plus a baby and there was plenty of room/space for us all. Also lots of extra things were provided including extra bedding, linen, pillows, plenty of kitchen utensils, plates and cutlery, books, board games etc. Was a really enjoyable stay and will definitely be returning.

• Shamsul (10/5): Beautiful place to stay with multiple families or friends! - This is a beautiful place to stay. The interior is very modern, but also comfortable. It has large communal spaces for groups to relax indoors and outdoors. Plenty of entertainment and areas for kids to play in. Not only that, the property had everything you would need for your stay, all utensils, amenities etc are there and available for use. The Hosts are always communicating any updates and are available to ensure our stay was pleasant and without any problems. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you for the lovely time! There was honestly nothing that we didn't like about this place. It was close to everything we wanted to do and the house was so comfortable that it was hard for us to even leave the place.

• Suzanne (10/5): Amazing house in the Yarra Valley perfect for wedding prepping and recoveries - I am so grateful to have been able to stay at this beautiful house before it is officially open. My original booking at another house in Healesville was cancelled at the very last minute. I was gutted. We needed a big house for the bridal party to prep for a wedding and there didn’t seem to be much available. In a panic I contacted the agents for Badger House, and begged them to allow us to stay even if the house wasn’t quite finished. And they said YES! Phew! It turned out to be the most amazing weekend. The house is so gorgeous. The extra bathrooms are nearly finished but there was already 2 contemporary bathrooms for us to use. The place is huge and the alfresco, incredible. We even held a recovery BBQ for our nearest and dearest the next day. It all worked so well. We made good use of the gas fire, fire pit, laughed our way through a friendly dart comp, appreciated the big tables, wine fridges, fully stocked kitchen and comfy beds. Oh and the endless ice supply for our G&Ts and Bloody Marys! Our friends and family were blown away. The photographer and makeup artist gave it the tick of approval too. The kids loved the alpacas and sheep next door and the lawn area, and we squeezed in a visit to the Healesville Sanctuary which is just down the same road, followed by a tasting paddle, tasty platter and ice cream at the very cool Blueberry farm winery nearby. We are definitely coming back. We’ve got a long list of places to visit next time - Four pillars gin Distillery , No 7, Innocent Bystander, Levantine Hill, Hubert Estate, the restaurant at Stones (Meletos) and Zonzos. We’ll need a month to work our way through just the wineries. Cannot recommend Badger House, the Luxaway team and the Yarra Valley more highly. Thank you for salvaging our wedding weekend and turning it into a massive success. I only wished I’d booked for longer! We can’t wait to come back and explore this incredible region. There’s heaps to do. Must pack the hiking shoes and bikes next time.
