- JCat (9/5): - The cottage was very well presented and comfortable. The location is very convenient for cafes and shops. Wasn't a big issue for us however there is no internet, which may be a deciding factor for others.
- Kate (9/5): Superb - We had a wonderful stay in the cottage while visiting family locally. Lots of lovely extra little touches that really made a difference. The house has been furnished v thoughtfully with guests in mind from the extra blankets to the complimentary bathroom amenities and the comfiest couch :)
A short walk to everything in Mt Barker - lots of good spots for coffee and food, and the IGA has everything you need.
- Chris (7/5): Fantastic few nights escape - Great location for town access, and to go out and see the region. House is nicely presented. Good lounge, dining and kitchen facilities. Large bath was great after Stirling Range climbs Both queen beds are quite uncomfortable. Lingering smell on carpet areas from indoor pets, although not overbearing.
- Georgina (10/5): Great location, friendly responsive hosts, plus bonus taking dogs with a large secure back garden -
- Sally (8/5): Great value for money. Beautiful character home. - Great character. Cosy, comfortable, warm. Close to most places.
- Caroline (9/5): Superb - Lovely character property in town decorated to feel like a home not a hotel.
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anthony (9/5): Great little cottage set in a quiet yet safe and clean town. - I was contacted by the host and informed on how and where to access the lock box. Very helpful instructions. The Host communicated with us from the get go and this was very helpful. The cottage is close to cafes and the Bakery in Mt Barker is to die for. The coffee maker was kaput but there was a great cafe just down the road. It would have been nice to have access to the wifi or provided with instructions.
- Elizabeth (9/5): Charming old cottage right in town - Mt Barker was a perfect spot to stay while we explored both the Porongurup and Stirling Ranges. It was lovely to return home after a busy day to this charming old cottage and cook dinner with the excellent kitchen facilities, then relax on the incredibly comfy couch. The bathroom was huge and the shower was amazing! Loved our stay here :)
- Loniohlson (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect quaint little cottage. Walking distance to shops. Huge back yard for furbabies.
- Stewart (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lynda (7/5): Great location laid back vibe - Old,quaint and comfy good yard will bring dog next time.
- Chris (10/5): Cosy Cottage in Mt Barker was a great house stay in a central location for our 5 nights - This was a great house to stay in. Centrally located adjacent to the town centre, spacious inside and everything needed including nice bottle of wine on arrival. Folk were very friendly from the shops in Mt Barker to the walking trails. Only 20 mins to some great walks in Porongurup National park and less than an hour to Bluff Knoll and many other walks in the Stirling Ranges, providing great days out. Plenty of wineries to visit or cafe's on the way home from a hike, or just sit on the front porch chairs, relax, and enjoy the view from outside the front of cosy cottage. Nothing not to enjoy. We were blessed with great weather for the week too. And no problems found that we needed to contact the hosts for, though they had made it clear to contact them if needed for anything.
- Phillips (9/5): Superb - A beautiful cozy home away from home. It exceeded our expectations. Will definitely recommend to family & friends
- Catherine (7/5): A cosy stay, indeed. - Great communication from owners, character cottage. We appreciated their flexibility on a request my partner had.
- Toms (5/5): Passable -
- Sean (8/5): Very good -
