- Ida (10/5): We had a wonderful stay. - Beautiful location! We wanted to spend a few days in a quiet location to write and take a few walks and see a couple of sights. The cabin was perfect for us! We had everything we needed, it was clean, it was comfortable and charming.
- Michelle (10/5): Old style home for an authentic Newfoundland stay. - Beautiful home and view of the ocean, omgosh. Our master suite was incredible. The bunkie was cute too. Through no fault of Gerties place, it was a very hot day. Fans were provided which helped a lot. The hosts have done everything here to make this a lovely destination. We would come back again.

- Yc (9/5): Old salt bix house with great view - Good view, big house, nicely decorated. Very well equiped kitchen. Direction and checkin procedure was clear. Only 2 queen bed available for 5 pax booking. But it was ok as some of us slept on coach.

The listing said it was on the cove . Expected it to be more like a lake view, but it is a tremendous ocean view. The sunset was one of the best I’ve seen.
