- Agron (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hrvoje (9/5): A clean and tidy apartment in a well-connected location, with easy access to public transport. - The apartment was exceptionally clean and tidy, exactly as shown in the pictures—no unpleasant surprises. Although it was a bit smaller, the space was well-utilized and very comfortable. What impressed us the most was the location—the bus stop was literally right outside the entrance, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient. I didn’t like that the only option for entry was through a code—if our phone had died, it would have been a major issue. Additionally, we didn’t realize that the apartment was literally below ground level, which was a bit of a surprise. There was a slight unpleasant smell, but I assume that’s common in many accommodations of this type in London.
- Ladyj93 (5/5): Passable - The location is very good. Only few minutes from the underground and a bus stop right outside the house. A quiet place and beautiful house. I messaged the place a few times before the arrival. Me and my friend arrived to London at 8am. A week before the trip I asked if early check in would be possible. They asked me to message them again a day before trip. I also requested arrival time change through Booking.com. on the day before arrival I only received instructions how to get to inside but they never replied to my messages if we can check in earlier. I tried on a day before the trip, and on that day. Before flight, after landing. No response. After arrival it turned out that something they called a 'terrace" is a green carpet inside a 1.5m x 1.5m maybe, area with neighbours' window with concrete walls around. I'd call it a hole in a building... the room was quite clean, toilet and shower itself too, but the floor in a bathroom was dirty and the bathroom smelled so bad that we didn't know what's better, opening the door or closing the door. Either way, it smell really really bad, like something died in the toilet. They left some tea for us (and paper cups) but that tea was probably the cheapest tea ever, or very old one since that had no taste. We spend only few days there and learned by no response from the owner we decided just to stay there and later give the review pointing those things out. We're never coming back to that place.
- Audrey (2/5): Terrible service - The location is really good but the apartment itself & service were less than ideal.
There was a horrible sewage smell in the apartment for the entire stay even though I complained about it on the first day. It took them 2 days to answer my many messages. By message, they suggested that the issue might be the shower which I told them was not the case. When they finally came to do something about it, on the last day, all they did was pour some product in the shower drain which didn’t help.
Basically terrible service & not pleasant to stay in a place with that kind of smell
Also note that the apt is technically underground. Hadn’t understood this from the description/pictures
- Carol (10/5): Exceptional - With weather conditions it was great to open the French door in our room
- Sándor (8/5): Very good -
- Filip (9/5): Superb - Cozy accommodation
Bus station right in front of it
- Ceri (10/5): Great 👍🏼 - Excellent communication The garden could have been nicer
- Ishwari (7/5): Good - Kettle could have been washed properly, bathroom smelled of chemical, AC did not work
- Emily (9/5): Very cute, started to feel like home! - It was in a cute spot in West Hampstead, London. Very conveniently close to the tube so we could walk 6 minutes daily to get to where we needed to be. Oana is a lovely host and responded quickly with any questions I had. We found a cute coffee place just down the road (Wired Co.) & it was close to some markets + more restaurants. Safe location forsure, I didn't feel like I was looking over my shoulder. It is advertised as small but it is smaall. It was just me and another friend of mine and we are both pretty petite and we felt as if the 3 days we stayed there were perfect. Any longer it may have started to feel too claustrophobic. Other than that, it really wasn't a bad stay at all! I would stay again:)
- Kerry (8/5): Really clean comfortable and great location - Maybe a few trays to eat off would be good. some extra disposable cutlery and plates and a few more loo rolls please. But otherwise no complaints. We will be back
- Angela (7/5): Definitely not an apartment, but works out as a cheaper option to a hotel room. - Lovely quiet location with great local amenities and close to train stations giving to quick and easy access into the city centre. This is advertised as an apartment, this is a little misleading as it is really a bedroom with a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster, not really an apartment. You were provided with paper cups and small paper plates along with wooden cutlery sets but not enough for 2 people staying over multiple nights. Our room was in the basement where the washing machine was located, therefore you heard people going up and down the stairs late into the evening.
- Steeve (10/5): I'll be back - Very compact but also very well equipped. Top location, 5 minutes walk from West Hamsptead station. The apartment is in floor -1 and offers a mini terrasse. Air conditionning, excellent WIFI, very calm despite to proximity of the street.
- Elizabeth (7/5): Good - Clean, spacious room. Perfect for city stay. Good transportation links.
- Ahoué (9/5): Superb -
- Sebastian (8/5): Very good - Great room with a good location and easy access to public transport. Wi-Fi was not reliable and was not able to work.
- Ian (5/5): The property could be good but is overshadowed by a number of poor features - Location is great The #129 bus goes directly into Piccadilly Circus The bathroom had a pungent odour which indicated the sanitary drains were leaking gases Continuous running of the bathroom fan helped a little but not much
The booking.com property description is misleading: The"kitchen" is a tea making space with no sink and enough disposable cups/knives/spoons/forks for only about one day. The "terrace" is in the bottom of a below ground lightwell with sky view (apartment is lower ground)
There is no external opening window to provide ventilation just a door which is secure only if shut
- Dragana (10/5): Great experience! - The location was great, near the subway and the shops. The studio was supplied with all the necessary appliances.
It was tiny, but clean. The bus stop was just in front of the building. The neighbourhood was quiet . Everything was just fine.
- Maisie (10/5): Exceptional - The location was brilliant and so close to the tube station and lots of little shops. The urban nest was clean and tidy, and such good value for money.
- Thomas (9/5): Perfect London feeling - Very cosy Appartement.. well outfitted and very clean. Coffee tea etc. are provided. PERFECT help when requested.
