I couldn’t sit down on the toilet straight on , had to sit sideways and I’m only 5 foot 1. The bed was extremely hard! The curtains didn’t even cover the windows. I asked for 2 extra pillows and they said no problem , got there and no sign of pillows , I asked and they didn’t not want to give me them . I came back later and I had 2 small cushions in my room. The pillows I had were very thin. So needed the extra .

• Alice (7/5): - Pozione ottima, al centro di Londra con la metro vicinissima per spostarsi ovunque Stanza un po’ troppo piccola per 4 persone e non troppo pulita, ma se si ha un po’ di spirito di adattamento il rapporto qualità-prezzo è ottimo, considerati i prezzi degli hotel in zona.

• Sara (10/5): Ottimo! - Hotel validissimo. Io e il mio ragazzo siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi! Posizione eccellente, vicinissimo a due fermate della metropolitana (Bayswater e Queensway) e la strada parallela all’albergo è piena di ristoranti, fast food, bar per la colazione, pub, negozi di souvenir, insomma, non mancava niente. È ubicato tra Paddington e Kensington, a due passi dalla bellissima Hyde Park. La stanza era confortevole e spaziosa abbastanza per due persone. Se mai dovessimo ritornare a Londra, sicuramente sceglieremo di nuovo il New Dawn Hotel. Grazie!

• Alejandro (3/5): Great location, really bad hotel in general. - The location of the hotel is great. You have a couple tube stations less than 15 minutes away and good places to eat. The room is very very small. They don’t clean the rooms, the bed seems dirty. Shower and toilet are very very cramped, you use no space to leave your luggage. Our room was basically in the sidewalk and the curtains are fixed so no natural light enters the room. Additional to this the charged us £20 for leaving our luggage are the hotel for a couple of hours (the rate is a little abusive). There’s always cats inside of the hotel, staff is never there.

• Jade (1/5): Great location for the price, terrible everything else. - Location is great and the staff are nice Pretty much the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Tiny, badly renovated and most things were broken. Broken light switch, broken shower door, broken sink faucet. Curtains were mouldy and didn’t reach the bottom of the window, pictures were hanging off the wall and only one pillow per person in the room, which were very very thin. Light fixtures were coming off the wall, and there was mould around the inside of the window. To top it all off, the walls are paper thin so you can hear everything going on outside your room and in other rooms.

The room was small, very small, and cold. At times, it was difficult to determine whether it was colder inside or outside. There was no window, and the space was not well maintained. Noise levels were high in the evenings, likely due to the room’s proximity to the hotel entrance, as it was the first room near the lobby.

• Paula (1/5): HORRIBLE - Nada Mi experiencia en el NEW DAWN HOTEL ha sido, sin duda, la peor que he tenido en mi vida. He viajado mucho y me he hospedado en muchos hoteles, y jamás había tenido ningún problema, ya que soy una persona poco exigente: con que el alojamiento cumpla su función básica para dormir, es más que suficiente para mí. Sin embargo, en este establecimiento nos hemos sentido engañadas y estafadas. El problema surgió con el servicio de consigna para dejar las maletas. Antes de confirmar el pago, preguntamos claramente el precio, y la mujer que nos atendió nos indicó que costaba 3 libras si era antes de las 15:00 y 20 libras si era después de esa hora. Nosotras llegamos antes de las 15:00. De hecho, yo misma volví a preguntarlo una segunda vez para asegurarme, y confirmó exactamente el mismo importe: 3 libras. Sin embargo, dos minutos más tarde, cuando llegó el momento de pagar, nos exigieron una cantidad superior. Al reclamar y explicar que ese no era el precio que nos habían indicado —y que además acababa de ser confirmado por una de sus empleadas—, la situación se volvió aún más desagradable. Cuando llegó otro empleado, en lugar de intentar aclarar el malentendido, nos tacharon de mentirosas. La situación escaló rápidamente: uno de los empleados (hombre con una mancha en la frente) reaccionó de forma completamente inapropiada y muy agresiva, elevando la voz y gritándonos (tenemos pruebas de ello). Además, llegó a cerrar la puerta insinuando que no podíamos salir hasta que pagáramos la cantidad que exigían. Nos sentimos presionadas e intimidadas. Propusimos llamar a la policía para resolver el conflicto, pero nosotras no teníamos acceso a internet en ese momento, y el empleado tampoco quiso realizar la llamada. Por lo que hemos podido comprobar después, no somos las únicas personas a las que les ha ocurrido algo similar. El hotel tiene una valoración aproximada de 2 y está catalogado como “malo”. Nos sentimos decepcionadas y consideramos lo sucedido muy grave. Tomaremos medidas
• Zoltán (7/5): Ajánlom mindenkinek, mert minden szempontból megfelelő! - Nagyon jó elhelyezkedés. Közelben kettő metró megálló, több buszmegálló, nagyon sok étterem, bolt. A szállás nagyon kis kompakt volt. Arra, amire kellett nekünk tökéletes volt, lényegében csak aludni mentünk. Én mindennap nagyon jót aludtam. A személyzet nagyon segítőkész volt mindenben. Csak ajánlani tudom. Pár darab fogas jó lett volna a törülközőknek, hogy kiterítsük, de így is megtudtuk oldani. A zuhanyzó fülkébe is praktikus lenne egy kis polc, amire lehet pakolni.

The staff is honestly really doing a good job, is very welcoming and flexible. Makes you feel very welcome. Yes, it is not a four-star Hotel, but very good value for money.
