Grace (7/5): Location was fair, busy roundabout , and heard people arguing at the gas station opposite us, place was brand new but no - Everything was brand new . Fireplace controller didn’t work. Fridge water dispenser had to keep filling up which was annoying when you have 5 mouths to drink. Everything was brand new but done cheaply . Plus we told Rowena we would be arriving at 3pm (time of check in) and she made us feel we were rushing her because she was cleaning after a late check out .. and asked if we could drive slowly .. after being on Jamberoo for the whole day with 3 kids,, that was a little disappointing.. but when we eventually arrived the place was pretty clean, but was told by the cleaner to empty the dishwasher before leaving , which I thought it was a bit of a joke… when we paying so much for the place,

Keith (10/5): Very comfortable new place with a great host. - Very clean, tastefully styled, very comfortable beds. Off street parking available - this is important as the street is a little busy due to the service station (see below). Very good host. There is a service station opposite which operates 24/7. For two to four people staying it won’t be a problem as two of three bedrooms are at the rear of the house and very quiet. If the front bedroom needs to be used, the occupants would need to be sound sleepers. There is no smell from the service station.

Rowena couldn't have done more to make us welcome or to make our stay more enjoyable Nothing - no negatives at all

High end designer and top quality finishes and fittings. Both stunning and functional. Rowena was an amazing host. Every detail was thought of. Welcoming and full of useful local information and the welcome bottle of wine a lovely touch. The location was so central. An easy walk to nice restaurants and cafes. We loved our stay. Having to leave!!
David (10/5): Lovely contemporary villa but located about 1.5km from main town area - We had 4 adults and 3 children staying and there was plenty of room for all of us. Liked that the villa was stocked with everything you need. It was clean and contemporary. Comfy beds. Always good to have parking available either on drive or directly outside. Grocery Shop, fish and chip shop and cafe within walking distance.Good communication with owner Was about 1.5 km to the main part of the town and wanted to walk but too far with 3 young children. Not sure if the British are a bit more prudish than Aussies but it was strange and not liked that there was no door on en suite. There is petrol station right opposite but this didn’t cause any problem in fact you can buy groceries from there.

Loved the host, she was a fire cracker & so very helpful and very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this for your stay in Kiama, you will not be disappointed!
Roseina (10/5): Best priced getaway villa with an extra touch. - A perfect set up with a 24 hour service station/supermarket across the road, with led 🔥fire place that's relaxing. The host was great and friendly and their emailed nearby attractions was so helpful. The opulence in this villa is a 10 star and to mention the kitchen that opens up to the outdoors was seamless.The double double bunk beds are a game changer for my boys and their friends. We will be back for sure to enjoy it all again. Everything was so perfect that there's nothing to fault. If you want a relaxing luxurious place to stay then Salty Palms luxury beach houses is the No.1 pick. Do not miss out in experiencing these beach houses for yourself.

Chanelle (10/5): Loved our time in Kiama. - Beautiful clean fresh home with everything you could possibly need. Was not within walking distance to all of Kiama’s main attractions. Was directly opposite a service station. Also the back yard was not fenced in so was not safe for children to be out there alone.
FriscoZA (1/5): Unable to check in as owner left phone in their car... - Nothing- no one was there to check us in. We had to make this booking a bit last minute due to our other accommodation being double booked on booking. The check-in was up to 9pm. We booked the property at 7:45pm. We tried calling ahead, with no answer. We got there just after 8, tried calling with no answer up to 9pm (check in close time) with no answer. After this we called booking who would not cancel the reservation until they give the owner 45 mins to respond after they contact them. We tried explaining to booking that it is 9:20 in the evening, we cant wait 45 mins because the only hotel close by closes their reception in 10 mins. But only got a "sorry its our policy" response. We took the risk of booking into a hotel anyway and lucky for it as we did not get a responce within the 45mins and the booking was canceled. Later the owner got back telling us they left their phone in their car...

Jim (10/5): Convenient,Clean,Spacious, beautifully built, great amenities and well thought out. - Love the location. It was a stones throw from coffee, fish and chips(at old school prices!),convenience store and a short walk to the beach. We booked 2 villas side by side and loved the layout and how spacious it was, it easily accommodated both our families and was such an easy place to entertain from. We also loved how close it was to our grandmother who was a short walk down the road making it a very special visit for our family. Unfortunately we had a cyclone on the way and had to get home to Queensland otherwise we would have extended our stay at the villas. We definitely would have been comfortable for an extended stay and Rowena has put a lot of thought into the amenities, such as a laundry(washer/dryer), large fridge/freezer and a great kitchen. This is a hard one because it was perfect for what we wanted, and we are already planning our next family trip down. The only thing we didn't like wasn't anything to do with the villas and is a first world problem, but one of the lights from the service station opposite shines directly into the front bedrooms. But like I said before, not a fault of the villas and will book again in a heartbeat.

Host was lovely and super helpful. Thank you! May benefit from floor to ceiling black out curtains in master bedroom or blinds for top section of window, but not a big issue.
