• ShepUot (10/5): Perfect stay in Saigon! - Perfect place for your stay in HCMC. Been here multiple times and will keep being my place of choice when in Saigon. Great area close to some top notch local eateries, quite local. Pick one of the larger rooms as it's totally worth it.

• Marie (8/5): Confort pour une nuit mais pas idéal pour un long séjour. - Le bâtiment est situé en plein milieu du quartier 3, surtout de Tân Định qui donne accès à beaucoup de restaurants et de pharmacies. Il est également situé à côté de la cathédrale rose, pratique pour une petite visite. La propriétaire est sympa et réactive. Bâtiment situé face à la route donc c’est très bruyant. Des bouchons d’oreilles sont à disposition mais j’en avais pas utilisé car pas l’habitude d’en mettre. La toilette de la chambre et les commodités de cuisine sont séparées de la chambre (juste une seule chambre est comme ça). J’ai été averti par la propriétaire, j’ai voulu quand même essayer ce type de chambre et j’en conclus que je n’aime pas. Étant donné que la toilette a une aération ouverte, faites attention aux moustiques, un produit est à disposition.

• Javier (5/5): Passable - The hostess is a very nice individual that accommodated my late arrival after her staff was gone for the day. She is a very nice lady. The place is roomy; it's a large room with an attached bathroom and large shower. The lighting to this room is quite nice. And the kitchen with fridge is good. The location is hell. It is busy at all times of the day and you can HEAR IT. I was inaccurately told district 3 was a calmer district and found out the wrong way that it is not. The place can really use a better cleaning as there are cobwebs along the ceiling/walls and corners of the place. The bed has a mattress that is about 3 inches in thickness. It is not all that comfortable. The balcony offers the view of a roughly finished building wall. There are only stairs, no lift or elevator so anyone who has trouble climbing stairs or has heavy luggage will have trouble going up to the room. The mini split ac unit blows the air directly on the bed, which can be either a good or bad thing. And the place could really use some maintenance, as the wall paints are chipped and rather run down. The towels really need to be replaced as they are harsh and hard. And be weary of what you place in the kitchen trash can or counter as ants will get to it rather quickly.
• Sam (5/5): Booking com Misrepresented. - The lady there is wonderful, kind, caring, understanding and very helpful. I would score her higher than a 10, if the scale went higher. The premises were nice and clean. The room wasn't as described on booking.com, so due to that fact neither the toilet or kitchen area were actually in my room,also for me the bed was too hard.. I rated the size of my room on the fact that it wasn't the size I expected, but for 1 person it was okay.

• Ross (8/5): Everything we needed for a fun trip to Saigon, the road was loud at times but we managed to sleep - Great host and location, very helpful people and 20 minute walk to most major locations. Very noisy from the traffic
• Bobbie (10/5): Exceptional - A large room, just as pictured. Great shower, comfortable bed. Very nice and accommodating manager/(owner?). Very well located for me. Will stay again. It only had a bathroom mirror, but talked to the manager who was very receptive to the suggestion of installing it.

• Phuong (8/5): Value for money at good location - Room is clean, bed is comfortable, towels and bedsheets are clean. WiFi is good, not sure why the aggregated rating is low on booking.com. Location is great for an overseas Vietnamese like myself, with bus 03 going direct to city center and bus 93 going to the main bus hub. It is also close enough to the airport, but far enough so that the drivers won't be mad at you. The famous Banh Xeo 46A, Pho Hoa (Vietnamese beef noodle), Cong Cafe is in walking distance, along with many other options. Money exchange at Tan Dinh market is just as competitive as Ben Thanh. Host is quite flexible with timing for payment and checkout. Photos on booking.com are accurate. This is not a classic hotel, but rather a commercialized private real estate. They sell lottery tickets downstairs, who also double as reception where you can pick up & drop off the keys, hence it was a bit hard to find first time. I had the queen room on the first floor, which didn't have a private bathroom: going from the room to the bathroom meant I had to cross the public stairwell. The same bathroom was used by the staff / lottery sellers. Since it is facing the busy Hai Ba Trung street, it can be quite noisy when the city wakes up at 6AM.

• John (10/5): I enjoyed my stay. - The apartment doesn't have the of a 4 start hotel, but the room is much more comfortable and much more affordable. It's a minute away from Le Van Tam Park.

Near Tan Dinh church. The owner is also very nice and easy to talk to. The lady seller is also very helpful 😊 Thank you. bathroom and kitchen separate from the room. facing the road, a bit noisy with the sound of vehicle horns.. but not too disturbing.
• Anh (10/5): Excellent stay, good value! - Spacious rooms, good view of the city. Our rooms were equipped with a full size fridge, utensils, bowls, an electric kettle, dish soap, even some seasoning like soy sauce. The owner also provided shampoo and body wash, a comb, travel toothbrush and toothpaste. That was super convenient and much appreciated. Next time we stay, we won’t have to pack these items which is a plus. The owner, Ms. Uyen was very kind and responsive. She normally responded to our requests within 10-15 mins. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Chill Home. The bathroom is built in a way that shower water can leak outside so for those who take long shower, it could be an issue. It didn’t bother us much because we don’t take long shower. Plus the place has more pros than cons so we feel it’s just a small issue.

• John (9/5): Great bargain! - The entrance is unassuming with a lottery vendor seated out front. There's no elevator/lift, but there aren't many floors. The room was about 45 sqm, with a sofa, kitchenette and nice bathroom. The owner was very nice and very flexible about everything, including check-in time. A previous guest was kind enough to forget to log out of Netflix and programming was available. Honestly, I'm worried that my positive feedback will make it difficult for me to book the place, next time, but the owner was so kind that I hope the property does well.

• Liam (10/5): This homestay was very comfortable to stay at. I would book here again! - The kitchen facilities seemed very nice, although we did not use them. The owner was extremely accommodating and always responsive to any messages sent. She would normally complete our requests within 10 minutes. The only inconvenience was that the toilet and kitchen were separate from the sleeping quarters. But this was not really an issue as the whole area is still very private

We loved it but some may li - The room was large & the Vietnamese woman running the accommodation was pleasant and helpful Equipment to make breakfast would have been good. I would have liked a coffee maker in the room - a French press or Vietnamese coffee maker. The assumption seemed to be that we would drink instant coffee. A toaster would be good too.
• Norhatas (10/5): Excellent - I like the window of the room,l and there is a kitchen with complete facilities to cook. The owner is really kind and very helpful. She is a very kind-hearted and very friendly to her tenants. The location is near to the Thai embassy where I processed my visa. Grab bike is very accessible and cheap within the area. It is near to almost tourist desination in Saigon. It is just 3 minutes walk to the very famous pink house. Everything is good and I truly enjoyed my stay.

• Shivaranjani (10/5): A beautiful memory - It’s a cute small space but comfortable enough for big people also. The room is in separate space from the kitchen and the toilet but it’s still a private space. The location is one of the apt locations to view the bustling ho chi minh city. There will be quite a number of ambulances as there is a hospital nearby( I am bit scared of sirens so it was bit worrying at first but I got used to it). A big appreciation to the owner of the building. She is a very kind and helpful person. I lost my phone in a cab and it was late at night. The owner was kind enough to help me track the cab person and get his location and get the phone back for me. He may not read this but the cab driver was a good soul who patiently waited and returned the phone back to me. I felt that this is a reflection of Vietnamese people’s kindness and culture. Apart from this, the room is cleaned and maintained so well. The owner is very prompt is her replies and she is not at all money minded like some of the airbnb owners. I will definitely stay here when I come back to Ho Chi Minh
