John (10/5): We will remember all of it fondly. - Villa54 is located in a nice section of Johannesburg on a quiet secure road. It’s a short Uber ride to shops and restaurants. The host, Simon, pays attention to detail. Our room was finely appointed with elegant furniture. Bathroom was large and impressive. Even our visiting friends were impressed. We toured the other rooms and all were equally furnished. The rooms and home are bright, comfortable and stylish. The gardens outside were amazing. If you like plants you will be dazzled by how beautiful they are. You will see many mature indigenous varieties, some rare, all perfectly maintained. In the corner of the garden is a pool to relax in. You will see and hear various kinds of birds enjoying the garden too. Breakfast is extra and you don’t want to miss it. Elegant setting, personal attention, excellent food. If you’re looking for recommendations to dine, ask Simon your host. We took every single recommendation because they were easy to get to and excellent dining experiences.
