• Daniela (10/5): Highly recommendable, great views, will book again if we come back to Australia. - Great view from bed and balcony. Balcony was in the shade for the second half of the day which made it perfect for sitting outside. A lot of space. Great (digital) interaction/ communication with the staff, before arrival, during stay and after departure!
• Jeanette (9/5): Eine der schönsten Privaten Unterkünfte die wir kennen. - Alles mega toll. Bilder stimmen mit der Realität überein. Alles was man braucht war da. Selbst Kaffeebohnen waren in der Kaffeemaschine. Auch Waschmittel und Eiswürfel. Einfach toll. Sogar scharfe Messer in der Küche... Danke Es gab etwas zu wenig Gläser und die die da waren passten nicht zusammen und waren sehr grau angelaufen oder blind. Das fanden wir schade gerade in so einer schönen Umgebung. Der Kühlschrank war etwas warm und ließ sich nicht kälter einstellen. Die Vermieter haben sehr nett auf unseren hinweis reagiert. Und ich schätze Sie so ein das Sie sich schnell darum kümmern werden.

• Michael Weaver (3/5): TOO MANY COCKROACHES AND VERY DATED APARTMENT - The view The huge amount of cockroaches, very unclean, very dated especially the artwork and appliances. The plastic cutlery something out of a picnic basket. Very 80’s feel all round.

• Bailey (10/5): - So quite, and peaceful. This couldn't be any better. I've had the best holiday of my life and being there in the winter is the best time to be there. As it rarely rains and not as humid like the summer. Also you may think the winter weather is cold. Think again it is so warm and beautiful temperature to go to the beach. The only thing I would take away from it would be the shower. Had to keep the the water facing the wall so it didn't leak under the glass door.
• Piximum (9/5): Spacious, quiet and comfy holiday accommodation, with no kids. - The view. The quietness, sometimes we could hear the waves lapping in the bay below. Adults only ensured no noisy children splashing in the pool. It was very spacious. Clean and tidy. I loved the big mirror. We didn't need to use the air-conditioning. We did use the efficient ceiling fans in both rooms to reduce the humidity. There were plenty of cooking implements in the kitchen for self catering. Management was easily contacted. I noticed a cracked glass which was replaced the next day. And when the kettle leaked, it was replaced within the day. The beds were comfortable. Block out curtains if we had wanted to sleep in. Easy off-street car parking. There was information about local food outlets with courtesy buses. I recommend the nearby walking track to Coral Beach. We also had a day trip to Palm Resort on Long Island, which left from nearby Shute Harbour. I hadn't realised how far we would be (about 15 minutes) from Airlie and all the cafes, restaurants and departure point for many activities. But, we had hired a car. So it turned out to be the perfect base for exploring the area.
• Lena (10/5): Exceptional - The whole place was perfect! if there was one thing I'd say just needed a new shower head but that's being really picky. Am amazing place to stay, relax and enjoy. we even had a mobile masseuse come out! we've decided we need to do this every six months and will Derrinallum stay here again, in a heartbeat! 💓 10 out of 10!

• Paul (10/5): Perfect, peaceful, picturesque, getaway location for that special occasion. - Spacious comfortable fully self contained accommodation away from the busy areas of Airlie Beach/Shute Harbour jetty, yet close enough to enjoy, explore those areas and facilities on offer by vehicle or bus. The sererity and peaceful rainforest environment definitely appreciated with immaculate gardens and pool area to enjoy. Easy check in instructions received prior to arrival, off street parking was not an issue, close to premises. Perfect choice for that special occasion to be celebrated, our 40th wedding anniversary, with our room #4 having uninterrupted views of the stunning turquoise waters of the beautiful Whitsundays. The weather, cloudy with intermittent showers .. but it is the monsoon season, premises not affected.

• Shaun (7/5): Loved our stay..beautiful views. Lacked in basic inclusions..8/10 - Really nice views, smart tv, we loved that we had the pool to ourselves for the whole week. Very spacious and good air con. We mostly loved our stay! Leaking shower head with a squeezing noise. Too many instruction labels that made us feel as though the host thought we were ignorant. Mouldy oven mitts, no pepper, no coffee refresher when we stayed 7 nights. Carpet not vacuumed. Moving forward if a couple is staying 7 nights maybe put a litre or two in the fridge instead of a one night stay milk.

• Carla (8/5): Very good - Perfect location for those who don't want to be in the middle of Airlie. if you don’t have car maybe is a little bit complicated. The apartment is beautiful, the views are stunning, the pool is amazing too. We arrived and the key wasn’t in the box, so we had to wait for one of the workers to bring it. Wasn’t a big drama but could be sort out before.

The apartment could have been stocked better. lacked enough supplies. rubbish can liners, towels, facecloths, just the bare minimum for everything. The furnishings were shabby. couldn’t work the microwave.
