- Trinh (10/5): Được viếng Lăng Bác là điều tuyệt vời nhất với gia đình mình - Gần trung tâm nên di chuyển thuận lợi. Cách hồ Gươm 100m. Nhân viên hỗ trợ nhiệt tình, thân thiện. Không có thang máy
- Rachel (10/5): ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Great place to stay in Hanoi.
Perfect location.
My room was very comfortable and clean.
Wifi and shower worked great.
Staff are very kind and helpful.
I will definitely stay here again if I return to Hanoi.
- Zusanee (10/5): - Lots of nearby attractions and Andy is very accommodating 😊 a budget friendly accommodation. Highly recommended.
- Nguyen (9/5): Totally good - The location is convinient.
Staffs are friendly No elevator, room on a higher floor, may be inconvenient with heavy luggage
- patrice (1/5): Allez ailleurs ! Mettez 10 euros de plus … et vous trouverez largement mieux !! - Rien ! Chercher ailleurs !
Logement situé entre 2 couloirs! Sales, pas accueillant !

- Rebecca (10/5): - Great hotel spot in a very good location to the old quarter of Hanoi. We booked last night after a sleeper bus but wasn’t an issue for us as the room was ready for us on arrival. There is no elevator in the property, however this wasn’t much of an issue as Andy and another staff member helped us up & down the stairs with our luggage. They were both so friendly and would definitely stay again.
- Siraj (4/5): They overcharged me for early check in, while the room was empty and ready - Location, everything where nearby Property dint have elevator, very big stairs for 4 & 5 floor.
I feel blackmailed for asking earlier check in..
I prior message them that i will not stay a night we are just in transit for 15 hours please give us early check in.
When i get there they asked me for extra money for early check in, more than half of the room price,
That time i feel blackmailed because the situation was pay extra or go somewhere else. At last moment where would i found another hotel with kids so i paid extra money
- Dominique (5/5): -
- Keann (6/5): - Close to old quarter, shops and destinations No elevator
- Sarah (10/5): - The location was great, central and close to all main sights. The room was very big and clean plus the beds were comfortable. But most importantly the staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming! They even gave us rain covers during a heavy rain storm before checking out. I’d definitely come back anytime!

- Gai (8/5): Basic tool - The location is excellent within the old quarter and Andy is fantastic. He was so accommodating with us and helped us organize tours, transfers, laundry, and even gave us all the great local food recommendations. Let us leave our bags all day, gave us early check in etc. The rooms are basic, very clean and great value for money. The rooms are quite dated compared to the pictures and lots of light comes through the windows (thick curtains especially on the front rooms would help!). This is a basic accommodation - you get what you pay for and you are paying for a 5-star location & staff, but not a 5-star room.
- Yusuf (8/5): -
- Grace (8/5): Great location, staff and room:)) - Lovely staff who were exceptionally helpful! Very good value for money with location and a nice room. Note that i was on the fourth floor with no elevator, so keep in mind if you are less physically able etc:)) there are also multiple hotels in old quarter with same name which can be confusing!
- Maria (9/5): Superb -
- De (9/5): Superb - The staff was very nice, room was nice and clean, location very good My room was on the 5th floor without elevator
- Nathan (9/5): Superb -
- Olivia (7/5): Good -
- Maxwell (7/5): Worthy Trip! - Great location in the mix of the city but tucked on a quieter street! Woken up by construction at 7am… so idk if that’s worth putting on the hotel.
- Lucie (8/5): Very good - Andy at reception was very welcoming & helpful and speaks very good English My room didn't have a window to the outside
No elevator
- Bethany (6/5): Pleasant -
- Massimiliano (9/5): Superb - Excellent location, value for money and staff. Definitely recommended
- Rianti (7/5): Good - Good location and very helpful staff. They offer to change the room from 5th floor to 3rd floor so we don’t have to climb too much stairs with luggage. There is no elevator but the rest is okay.
- Varghees (10/5): Awesome place. Awesome location. Awesome people - The people looking after the property, especially Andy was very helpful. He helped me book my cruise and my day trip to ninh binh. The stay was very clean and nice. And the location was also very close to prime locations. I would definitely recommend 10/10
- Harry (2/5): - Soon as we arrived we put the electricity card in and 5 minutes later it was sparking and on fire. We then changed rooms and they asked us after an hour to move back into the original room which we refused, we it still smelt like smoke and we didn’t feel safe in it. Then they kept messing us around with changing rooms for the rest of the stay.
- Sae (7/5): Good -
- Emma (3/5): Poor -
- Jaleesa (7/5): Great location. Basic accomodation for a short stay. Great location, in the heart of it, but nice and quiet. Be mindful - Great location! Right in the heart of the old quarter, but nice and quiet. Friendly staff!
- Sujohn (10/5): Exceptional - Very good experience and spacial thanks to Mr. Andy Love from India
- Korey (4/5): - Room was definitely not clean. Bathroom, the walls and the floor were dirty. Top sheet on the bed did not look clean but sheets looked to have been changed. Area is great. Staff were nice enough.
- Sujohn (9/5): Superb - what we really like in the hotel is the behaviour of the staff especially Mr. Andy , he was continuously coordinating with us and navigating for the hotel root , for finding better shops etc. what we don't like is that the room was a little cosy and rest all good
- Tom (9/5): Nice place - Very nice place, great location 5 minutes walk from the lake. Andy and the team are wonderful guests.
- Vanessa (6/5): Okay for 2 nights - The location was great, super close to the old quarter and quiet at night. The room was spacious and gave us great ability to pack our bags for the trip home. The staff was super sweet, helped us carry our bags up and got us a car to the airport. All in all nice. The ac worked well too and the bathroom was nice. There’s only a few rooms and most seemed to be up on the 4th floor. There is no elevator so just stairs, so beware! The bed was also unfortunately super uncomfortable, you could feel just about every spring in the mattress and we were glad it was only for 2 nights.
- Romano (2/5): Good location, everything else bad - Andy was a very sweet and carried our bags to the 4th floor. The location of the place is very good, in the heart of Old Quarter. There were people sleeping at the reception constantly, like if they were camping. The hotel does not have an elevator, the room and hotel in general were not clean.
- Ian (1/5): DON'T STAY HERE. This is basically a scam. - It's in a good location and was an interesting experience. This hotel is actually called "The Larenta". "La Renta" is a much nicer hotel a few blocks away and this listing is intentionally misleading. This was one of the crappiest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in, and there are some great hotels nearby for a similar price.
- Angelica (10/5): Exceptional - The price is a bit expensive because the high visit season, but the location is worth it No elevator and my room is on 4th floor
- Jasmine (9/5): Superb - Great location and staff
- Roberto (8/5): 3 night in the center of the old town. - Very friendly staff. Andy at the reception was excellent in providing tips and information. First night the room was cozy but too little and he arranged to give us a bigger room. Both rooms were clean. It was fine for us to go up at 4th floor by stairs but maybe not indicated to people with legs problem.
- Ketty (8/5): Very good -
- Noll (9/5): Superb - Great location, friendly staff.t
- Damiano (10/5): Exceptional - The place is a typical Vietnamese hotel, but the cherry on top was the kindness of Andy!
- Michail (5/5): Passable - Per 15€/day is a really value for money ,
close to Hoan Kiem lake and old city center .
But you know ..don’t expect HILTON because you don’t pay for HILTON!😁
- Harry (10/5): Exceptional - The location was perfect, right in the middle of the old quarter and the facilities were perfect and well priced. Andy at reception was amazingly helpful, I booked all of my tours through him (Sa Pa, Ha Giang Loop and Halong Bay) which were much cheaper than booking online or through travel agents in the city. 5 stars
- Jan (9/5): Honest service - The staff. Andy is the best, he booked the trips for us with very good prices. Nothing was to much to ask. The best service we had in Vietnam. The rooms are very quite. Spaciuos and clean. No elevator but they carry your lugage, no problem.
- Abc (10/5): Comfortable - Super center location, simple room but quiet and accomondate everything you need in your stay
Andy is so helpfull No elevator but the staff will help you carry your bags
- Becky (2/5): The rooms really felt like a homestay in someone's poorly kept home. It was very uncomfortable. - Posted photos do not match facilities. Dark, dingy, musty and dusty rooms, Shower was not enclosed, so water splashed everywhere. Public spaces , i.e., lobby was cluttered and unappealing. Stairwells were dangerously narrow and steep. Rooms looked dirty with mismatched bed coverings, curtains, and lack of counter spaces.
The only upside was that we did not see evidence of bedbugs and the host on duty was very nice.
- Jasmijn (10/5): Amazing, with great staff - This hotel is so great! They are really helping you with everything and are really sweet. I texted them by whatsapp with some questions, and they reacted immediately and helped me out. They also fixed a taxi from the airport to the hotel for a very good price. (my friends paid 2 times more then I did) Also they helped me with the SIM card. And gave great tips about Vietnam, and Hanoi. The rooms were big and clean. Especially for the price you pay, this hotel is amazing. Thanks for the good time and good help, I had a lovely stay :) nothing
- Sean (9/5): Superb - The facilities were very clean, it’s close to the city center, and the staff is very helpful. They even booked tours for me which was very kind. I’d definitely recommend this place! No elevator
- Ishita (8/5): Good - Andy was soo good and helpful.
- Isilv20 (8/5): Budget Accomodation for a Short Stay in Ho Chi Minh - The apartment is in a very convenient location for Hanoi. The staff were friendly and helpful. Their communication through booking.com was also good. . The room was clean and had all the basics you'd require. We were also able to keep our bags at reception after checkout which was helpful. Please note this property does not have an elevator so you may need to carry your luggage up 2 to 3 floors. Some of the wall sockets were dodgy (electrical arcing).
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Reddy (5/5): Passable - We had a private room to ourselves. And it was very convenient for us cs it was in old quarter. The staffs were very friendly and helped us with many things. The room was okay. There were many things I didn't like such as the cleanliness (they didn't clean our room properly and the surroundings to get to our room were so filthy, we had to climb up so many stairs which were so narrow and my parents found it troublesome to climb and my mom got hurt at the sharp corner), there was no fire escape as well.
- Thiên (9/5): Superb -
- Min Su (8/5): - not bad and a host is very kind
- Bhagyashree (10/5): Exceptional - we checked in late the next day, so the staff let us check out 2 hours later without charging extra. since we had a lot of luggage and were only staying for a few hours, we were upgraded to a family room on a lower floor which was extremely convenient There is no elevator, but our room is on 2nd floor so there was no problem
- Sajid (6/5): Pleasant -
- Vu (10/5): Good - Friendly staff, helped us carry our luggage because the hotel does not have an elevator
Main location, everything is walking distance No elevator, simple decorations
- Bart (9/5): Superb -
- Melody (4/5): Disappointing - It's location is within the city's center. They allowed us to check in early. No elevator which is very inconvenient because we were assigned to the 4th floor. We ended up just leaving our 23kg luggage each in the lobby since we will not be staying overnight anyway.
One male staff smokes heavily, thus the lobby smells that of cigarette smoke. It's suffocating.
Bathroom door cant be closed properly.
We booked a triple room but since we requested early check in, only double room was available so we agreed to get it. We were still charged for the triple room plus 3% coz we paid thru card and not cash.
- Salvador (10/5): Exceptional - The staffs, Andy and Lao, are approachable, friendly and very helpful. We stayed 3 days and 2 nights. Overall, a pleasant stay.
- Colby (9/5): Superb - The hotel was clean and conveniently located, with a helpful reception who gave us great tips on where to eat. We stayed in the highest room with the window, while it had a window, the walk up to the top was quite precarious.
- Richard (4/5): Disappointing -
- Linh (8/5): Very good -
- Mahbub (10/5): Excellent - The Environment is so peaceful.Room also so comfy and Clean.Specially Stuffs are Very very Friendly and gentle. I highly appreciate them. Compared with the price this hotel is the best in this street. Just need to check all the bathroom doors.
- Guillermo (10/5): Exceptional - The reception young man, Andy has a great English and is quick with a tip or any kind of help you need. Completely worth it to stay with them.
- Malay (4/5): Hotel with Good location but bad atmosphere. - Location is good. No lift, steep stairs, very small room, clumsy decor and bad hotel atmosphere, no privacy, unsuitable for family,.Only cash payment , huge extra charges for card.
- John (1/5): Bad -
- Tom (8/5): Very good -
- Monica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ashish (10/5): Very good - Andy was very helpful. The rooms were clean. There was hot water and ac facilities as well. No elevator
- Callum (5/5): Go elsewhere if you can - The location was good and there was a young man I didn’t get his name but he was super friendly and helpful Bed was rock hard, had to climb the worlds steepest steps was upgraded to a window room and the window overlooked some local ladies washing, toilet blocked and didn’t get an offer to have our room cleaned once, on the last day we got given 1 single towel despite there being 2 of us
- Madhan (8/5): Very good - A fantastic hotel, very close to the Hoàn Kiếm Lake (10 mins of walking only). The area around the hotel is full of perfect food options and shopping stuff. The rooms are clean, and very quite which is a great thing for a traveler. I want to thank Andy for their support and professionalism, I really appreciate their effort in making us feel comfortable throughout our stay.
- Maria (7/5): Overall, the location is good and the place is tolerable. - It is accessible and at the center of the Old Quarter. So the bus for Ha long has an easy access to us. I think the mini ref. is not that clean enough. But still ok.
- Iman (9/5): Excellent room with friendly staff - The staff were great. Very friendly. Gave us some great recommendations. And let us leave our bags after check out which was a life saver as we had a late bus. The room was clean and comfortable and the bed was very cozy! There was no window in our room, and being on the same level as the family meant it was very loud in our room. But we booked another night and they moved us to a quieter room with a window!!
- Kirtiga (9/5): Superb - The room was comfortable and clean. the location was 8 mins walk to hoan kiem lake, and near to places as Dong xuan market, etc.
the staff was very helpful. he helped us so much and even accomodated our request for a weighing scale. The stairs were steep. maybe older age people will have some difficulty going up the stairs
- Andrew (8/5): Very good -
- The (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verbena (5/5): Passable - Location and friendly staffs; There are 2 double beds so if a group of people want to have a place to stay overnight and go out during daytime, it can be a good option. Air conditioner and TV work well. Well, no lift (very steep staircase), soft mattress, water was not warm in the bathroom though it was turned on hour before, you could hear the noise from the street loudly, and lastly the electricity was cut down at around 8 am and the house nearby is in construction so the noise started to annoy me.
- Dzeika (7/5): Good value for money- privacy for reasonable price in center of Hanoi - We travelled as a couple and needed after quick change in our programme a room in old quarter in Hanoi. The accomodation has very good location, directly in old Quarter, just a half street away from the lake. The accomodation is located in the backyard,so you do not hear the street noise, which is a big advantage in Hanoi! The room was spacious, clean, facilities basic, but good value for money. The personnel was extremely friendly- we asked something, which they can not answer right away due to language ,but provided answer later on. The facilities (shower) was very basic, but it serves the purpose. There was a light coming thought the glasdoor to the room- this could be improved to fully meet comfort requirements.
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Harry (8/5): Very good - Really friendly, helpful staff. Thank you!
- S (9/5): Superb -
- Justin (9/5): Superb -
