Guest Reviews
- Sophie (1/5): No sleep due to outside lights. Need them put on some kind of timer. - Good location The lights from the veranda are so bright they shine under and through the gaps in the block out blinds. I stayed with my daughter who woke up at 2am thinking we had slept in as that is how bright the light was shining in our room. I even left to room at 1am to try and find a switch outside, No where could these outside lights be turned off. Had very little sleep. Plus you can hear every move of the people in the upstairs apartment. Every step they take you hear.
- Ann (1/5): Bad Stay - Nothing Was so noisy people stomping around on floor above to 2am no sleep next night all we could hear all night was faulty water probably toilet filling and emptying all night no sleep taps hard to turn off faulty door lock hard to get in room such a disappointment and we travel alot never going back no-one in office to talk too shame
- Jan (5/5): Disappointing birthday night in Forster - Clean room, shower was good, pool was nice Bright outside lights shone all night, too light to sleep well. No soap, shampoo, tea bags. Tap in bathroom dripped, impossible to turn off. Group of noisy drunk teenagers shouting outside room on and off from 2 until 4am
- Leteisha (5/5): Mostly a good stay, just a few things that could have made it a lot better. - Very spacious room, bed was ok, was clean. Was a good location. Didn’t like that could hear every move made from upstairs room.
Local kids that weren’t staying at the motel came and used the pool continuously jumping and bomb for more than an hour ruining anyone else opportunity to enjoy the pool.
- Nickiah (10/5): -
- Charbel (5/5): - the front window didn't have a blind on it just curtain and it was smaller then the window so at night the outside light come into our room we couldn't sleep from that. and for the bed it look broken
- Shayne (10/5): -
- Caroline (7/5): Wonderful stay - Wonderful Would be nice to open windows and perhaps have an electric frypan in the kitchenette
- Jason (10/5): - Great little hotel in a great location. Very comfortable & a generous size.
- Ashley (3/5): Poor - Uncomfortable bed, dated bathroom, dirty windows,
- Pauline (9/5): Superb - The bed was great however the pillows were to soft

- Sally (7/5): Good -
- Xanthia (8/5): Very good - Big room, clean, easy check in.
- Anita (5/5): Good location for town. Noise levels from other units impacted our stay. - Updated decor in kitchen, dining and sleeping area. Floor was slippery and greasy. Not sure if that was the product used to clean it. Noise from upper level impacted our enjoyment of staying here. Ceiling light fitting shakes when people walk in room above us/
- Fabio (4/5): Terrible - Very noisy and old. Bed was terrible and the noise from plumbing stuff and upstairs neighbours was terrible.
- Brett (7/5): Feedback for the managers; the rooms need door handles. - Spacious room in a great location. There is only a "nightlatch" on the door {so no door handle}. I locked myself out at 730am and had to wait till 9 when the staff arrived.
- Wayne (7/5): Step back in time - Noise from room upstairs from floor boards & squeaking plumbing when upstairs shower turned on. Mouldy/dirty shower grout.
- Jennifer (8/5): Great location - The Room was spacious and it had the basics of what you need when going away for a short weekend. I didn't like the mould all over all the curtains in the unit. I couldn't get the windows open to air the unit out.
Also was disgusted by the stains all over the mattress protector when I stripped the bed on the morning we were leaving. It was all over both sides up and down the cover quite noticeable. With what you pay a night they should be changed.
- Adrienne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marion (9/5): Nice accommodation close to lake and beach and food outlets. - Nice big rooms clean am well renovated It was a bit noisy at times with people walking upstairs and passed my room to car park but not excessive.
- Nicholas (9/5): Superb - Room was a good size, bed was comfortable, shower was good, great location and staff were very helpful and accommodating.pool was clean and good temperature The only thing the motel needed was a BBQ facility
- Catherine (7/5): Wonderful price for simple accommodation - So reasonably priced, good location, nice simple accommodation Cleaning could have been better. Sticky cutlery in drawer probably left by last guest but not checked. Corner of bedroom floor full of spiderwebs and dirt. Skirt not wiped.
- Tsilva190 (7/5): Great location at a good price - The rooms were quite spacious, the location was excellent, the price was great. Sleep quality was good No sound insulation from other rooms specially from upstairs, could hear kids upstairs running on the boards.
The hot water was not reliable.
- Mark (10/5): Amazing, will definitely be back - Spacious, clean, quiet. Great location
- Frederick (9/5): Superb - No breakfast, brought our own.
Shower recess was a little slippery - at least it was very clean.
TV needed to be fixed by staff - very well and cheerfully done.
- Sandi (9/5): Good - Just the window in the bathroom. If your inside the bathroom at night people can see what your doing inside at night. Need to turnoff light.
- Elanora (4/5): Mmm, not again - Very roomy Floor in kitchen felt like it was rotting underneath. Told staff in office. She said would advise maintenance, picked up pen and paper but wrote nothing down. Also said that I was not happy re garbage truck arriving at 6am. She advised that no control re this. Given it was a private contractor for the business they do have some say in time. Flyscreens had holes which let in mosquitoes.
- Martin (9/5): Superb -

- Joanne (10/5): Comfortable and enjoyable. - This motel is a golden oldie. Though the fittings throughout are quite dated, the room was very spacious, super clean and comfy, nicely styled and provided a perfect weekend stay. It is only a short walk to shops and restaurants and not far to the main beach. Nothing.
- Don (7/5): Good -
- Reid (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brahma (9/5): Superb -
- Fiona (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shafie (8/5): overall amazing - I like how close it was to everything and that it was clean and well maintained the tv was facing a different direction to the bed and made it a bit uncomfortable to watch

- Jan (7/5): Mark & Jan stayed 24th to 27th December 2022 - Great location easy walk to shops, lake & beach. The room was large with with kitchenette & dining area. Bed was reasonably comfortable The noise from the room above us was very loud as it has timber flooring & you could hear people walking around & floor boards creaking. There are timber stairs outside to access the top floor, right next to the bed head & it was very noisy when guests were coming home late at night we were woken up several times each night. Kitchen sink was blocked & there was no sink plug so unable to wash up till fixed so I approached the cleaner & he fixed the sink problem right away but still no sink plug that fits the sink. The light over the mirror next to robe has no globe in it which was reported to cleaner.
- Fitzpatrick (5/5): good location easy to walk to places - central location thought it would have been a serviced room each day. upstairs neighbours very noisy. wooden floors not noise friendly.
- Kirsten (6/5): Large & fresh but ridiculously noisey - Lovely large room with new appliances & cutlery.
walking distance to beautiful locations & town. Lots of good potential here… 2 drawbacks; firstly the shower would suddenly go extremely hot or cold with no warning - it’s actually dangerous.
Secondly and most frustrating was the insane noise… if there is someone staying in a room above you, you’ll hear every creaking footstep on the wooden floorboards, every word they say, the music they play, when they use the bathroom… & when the outside stairs are used it sounds like an avalanche. Prepare to be woken up many times, including before 7am when skip bins are emptied 😵 Management if you read this, please put some carpet / rugs or some noise buffering material on the upstairs units floors for a start.
