Guest Reviews
- Ashley (6/5): Good location and responsive owners, but cold bnb and less than thorough cleaning. - I like the location, how responsive the owner was, and how detailed property instructions were. The owners also cleared the snow in front of our bnb entrance quite soon after the snow. There was old food in the fridge and a liquid mess at the bottom of the fridge when we arrived.
The room heater in one of the rooms had a broken switch which meant that the heater barely ran the first night until they fixed it the next day.
I also wish I would have known before booking that the owners prefer that you only have the heaters on when you are there, which meant we had to come back to a cold bnb and give the heaters an hour or so before the place became comfortable. We respected their rules, but I wouldn’t want to stay again if I can’t have a warm space for the entire time I’m in the bnb.

- Linda (7/5): - View and location were amazing. Worked out well for our needs. Sofa was uncomfortable to sit on and could hear lots of noise from people upstairs. Door lock to enter is not user friendly. Difficult to lock and unlock.

- Hanna (7/5): Clean property but located far from city center near highway. Value doesn't match what's offered. - The house was clean offering ample light , a pleasant view of the trees, and situated in a tranquil neighborhood. The hosts were also polite and quiet. Sounds like the bed sheets ware newly acquired, yet their quality was rather subpar, which regrettably for an uncomfortable night's sleep. .
Another matter was the laundry service. it was located upstairs in the host's home and available only during specific hours. furthermore, this time constraint was not mentioned in their profile. This was not an ideal situation, as a guests who spent each day on extensive hikes, returning with dirty clothes it was quite stressful to ensure we were back in time.
- Sandra (7/5): Nice Place to stay a few days - We enjoyed the amount of room we had staying here. The walk in shower was very nice. It was quiet in a neighborhood. The patio was pleasant to sit out on. The couch was very worn out. It was uncomfortable to sit on it & to get up from as the cushions were worn out.

- Mun (6/5): Improvement needed - Place quite new. Host did fulfill request in the end The lighting and amenities should have been checked before our checkin. When we arrived we found that the light bulbs in the lounge have fused. The bedroom was not sufficiently lit. Table lamp switch was faulty.
Although there were 4 of us only 2 big bath towels were given. The 2 small ones were replaced after our request.
When we wanted to use the washing machine and dryer we were told its too late and were asked to use the next morning. As we were leaving early the next day it was not possible. In the end we were allowed to use it but can only collect the dried clothes the next morning.
There was only 1 pair of slippers available.
The pillows were too flat. We were not told that there r extra pillows.
- Ornellad. (8/5): - Pulizia attrezzature per la cucina e il bagno, Materasso
- Judith (8/5): - Basement appartement in een rustige buurt. Fijne plek als uitvalsbasis naar Banff national park

- Danica (8/5): Content in Calgary - The location on the edge of Calgary was convenient to get to. I enjoyed an evening walk around the neighborhood. The bathroom door didn't close properly.

- Carrie (6/5): It was fine but reviews are a bit over the top and not very accurate. - Own place and quiet. Beds were comfortable. Patio was nice and with little view. We needed more blankets and pillows as it was chilly and the heaters were not the best. We did ask the owner that we met out in driveway if we could have another blanket and he said he get one down there, but that never happened. It took a long time to heat up the rooms and no dials to set temperature even though it stated there were. No heater in family room. No wash cloths.
Concrete steps down to place were not well my and some uneven areas.
- Merrill (7/5): Good - Location
- Apat (9/5): good - the area was decent, safe and back yard was amazing It is a nice place of a get way. The rooms are comfortable as well as the shower room. If the breakfast can be provided that would be awesome or at least fruits or snack. Also to have a paper towel in the kitchen area or washroom. I would like to see the heat or air conditioner controller as it seems the thermostat is in the upper level
- Gears (9/5): Superb -
- Pamela (10/5): Exceptional - The location and the facilities.
- Kristal (8/5): Very good -
- Marlese (8/5): Not really a mountain view from the walk out basement rental and forget about cooking. - The place was quiet and the location was good.
There was a co-op and gas station nearby. There was no real kitchen, just a microwave, toaster oven and a plug in induction cooking plate. No frying pan, just two pots. No paring knife to even peel an apple. The toaster was not clean, neither was the toaster oven. We chose not to use them.
Not really set up for a family.
We were three adults so we ate out anyway. It would have been nice to make breakfast, but it was manageable without being able to do so.
You could see the mountain tops from the far corner of the patio, standing at the very edge of the deck, just over the house tops, not as in the descriptions. All those photos were definitely taken from the owner's upstairs windows and balcony.
The living room lights did not work at all except for one light over the sink. The sink hardly drained.
The ceramic heaters smelled so bad that we could not use them for heating up the space.
I rented this because of the mountain view, so it was disappointing.
These were our last two nights, so, had I known this, a hotel would have been just as good and less expensive.
- Marilyn (8/5): Very good - Beautiful space in walkout basement with covered deck in northeast Calgary neighborhood which was close to shopping, bus & train lines. Ann has a basket of train schedules & maps of the city plus must see areas in the mountains which are about an hour away. The 2 bed with open living/dining was very comfortable. The walk-in shower was awesome!!! It was clean & had everything we needed. Parking was available in the drive To access the unit you must walk down a flight of concrete steps to the back deck. There is a handrail & it is lighted. We just had to be careful carrying our things down & up.
- Sharon (9/5): Overall a great stay with accommodating hosts, plan to return. - Perfect location in a quiet residential area. Loved the two bedroom layout and amazing treed views from the large windows. Kitchen well stocked with the basic appliances for food preparation and storage. Generous supply of ground coffee. Designated parking in driveway. Slightly awkward access to lower level private entrance, handrail very low and not secure. Sofa seat cushions are worn and do not provide adequate support.
- Lana (10/5): Highly recommend - Private, spacious, comfortable and stylish. The owners have thought of everything to make you comfortable.
