Guest Reviews
- Samantha (8/5): Worth every penny! Convenient and local to where we needed to be. Great bars and food places about. Easy check in and ro - Convenient and easy to get in. Room was very hot. Extension lead probably needs replacing and better signage on bathroom door.
- Jemal (5/5): - I booked befor they didnt send .e the code for the door i lost my mony i did it this time by mistake i have to contact them again to send me the code my self

- Harris (3/5): - There was not to like about the property apart from the location to what we needed The room was ok. No kettle or drinking facilities, which the cost of a kettle would have been nice to have 1 in the room. Nothing in the kitchen, not even a workable sink as there was no plumbing and no kettle for drinks in the morning. I didn't appreciate a long-term tenant in room 3, which he wondered around the property and leaving his room door open. Also the kitchen back door was always unlocked with cat wondering around and a unpleasant garden view from our room.
- Bosch (2/5): Felt like staying in a drug home. - Photos looked good, reality was different. Awfull smell, things were broken, facilities were clean. But there was trash in the yard, the kitchen was disgusting, I never spoke to the owner. People were essentially staying there almost pretending to host. All in all, just don't go here. Didn't expect this to be on booking.com.

- odokor (3/5): The facility itself and the cleanliness is top notch - The smell of cigarettes made me sick because am not a smoker. I couldn't even leave my room to go have apee because the smell of cigarettes is everywhere almost like a club.

- Thomas (1/5): Do not book. Felt unsafe, owner smoking throughout leaving a strong smell everywhere, very dirty, stray cat that was “we - Nothing. The owner smoking when he came to the door.
The stray cat that was “weeing everywhere”.
The strong smell of smoke throughout the apartment.
The lack of cleanliness throughout.
Location different to on booking.com and very difficult to find.
Felt unsafe in the property.
Chose to leave London that night instead of staying.
- Musitafa (5/5): Passable - location it wasn't clean and bed not comfortable
- Musah (8/5): Very good -
- Nicola (1/5): didn't get in - didn't get in not being able to get in so had to stay on the streets as was not from that area
- Tsehaye (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lucy (8/5): A nice large room. - The room was lovely, big and spacious with a hanging rail and a huge mirror quiche was great.
We didn't realise we would be in someone's house sharing a bathroom which felt a little awkward.
When we arrived someone was there but I'm not sure if they were a cleaner or owner but they weren't very welcoming.
For a one night stay it was fine and they did have towels for us educated was great! Bathroom mats
There wasn't really a hook on the back of the door just something that looked a bit broken, I tried to hang up my towel but it kept falling.
Bathroom door lock worked but the actually knob was broken and a little fiddly to get it back open again.
- Antonio (5/5): Passable - Spacious, old and basic room, just enough when on a budget. Self-check-in was helpful. The rest of the house is very messy and dirty.
- Nic (8/5): Very good -
- Walker (1/5): Bad -
- Anna (8/5): Very good -
- Habtome (5/5): Passable - The location is very difficult to find and the guy who put phone number doesn't answer The room
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Tsehaye (5/5): Passable -
- Mariaay (6/5): Below average but safer than the streets - The rooms were really simple and pretty. Not too much going on. Had a double sofa and a single sofa chair with a small cupboard and TV and coffee table. It's perfect for a night in The charging sockets were on the other end of the room making it extremely difficult to charge anything. Most of the plug points weren't working. Toilet was very small a little claustrophobic, but was available none the less. The shower was slightly dirty with hair and other things, wished it was clean before we got there .
- Matomela (6/5): Pleasant -
- Marro (10/5): Exceptional -
- Caitlin (1/5): Room was dirty, stank of smoke. Cat food on floor and bedside table. Not safe or comfortable. - The room was dirty. There was cat food on the bedside table and floor. The room stank of smoke so badly. We got told that the last guests had stollen the other key to our room so god knows who had access to our room and stuff… we ended up having to buy an emergency hotel room nearby for ridiculous money because of how awful it was. We did not feel safe or comfortable.

- Mary (6/5): Pleasant -
- Damien (8/5): Very good - The temperature! Nothing
- Anonymous (1/5): traumatising - not much owner tried to invite me into his room, told me i was pretty and asked about my age and asked inappropriate things. If my boyfriend wasn’t with me during the night I think it would’ve been even worse, the owner only asked or talked to me when my boyfriend wasn’t there and he repeatedly walked into my room without knocking.
- Carla (3/5): It was horrible - To be honest nothing. Let’s see since arrive to the destination and knocked on the door, and nobody answer a call for the number and one lady answer the phone and said wrong number
I was keep knocking on the door a lot of times, and nobody answer after 30 minutes waiting. I went to my car, tried to cancel the room. But my reception it was so poor I couldn’t and I’ll wait in my car for more than an hour if somebody arrives . After two hours waiting, I receive a message with the code to go in at the door. Because I was so tired, I went inside I couldn’t find another room and the house smells disgusting. The room is horrible. I tried to stay but I couldn’t I left after one hour it was so badly it looks like someone smokes drugs inside
- John (7/5): It OK! - Was very clean.
Very basic facilities.
Room clean, comfortable bed, TV. The tea/coffee making facilities were in a kitchen a few doors down.
Better if they were in the bedroom and save spilling the drinks on the way back to the room.
- Salvie (7/5): Good -
- Stefania (2/5): Avoid this property, not recommended - The location was OK Dirty, uncomfortable, sketchy.
Not as described.
- Syed (1/5): Bad -
- Catherine (1/5): awful in most ways imaginable - the bed was comfortable when I could finally turn the radiator down and that’s it. I had to chase the owner for check in details the day of. Radiator was up full and the room was an oven when I arrived. No thermostat to turn it down so I struggle to sleep. msged the owner at 3am when I couldn’t sleep about cooling place down n had to msg back a day later to chase. he said there were thermostats in the hall. There weren’t but luckily I bumped into the older gentleman who seemingly lives there who seemed shocked and confused that I was staying there. said that nobody told him.he gave me a thermostat, took a microwave out my cupboard then asked if I had his towels. ( they were in bed for my arrival) second night I barely slept because the man and his wife (I think) who seemingly live there were in the kitchen seemingly cooking, washing and shouting at their cat and each other until 2am. Then I woke up with the cat fighting dogs outside. then at 5am I could hear lots of clamouring of pots and washing in the kitchen again. Then I heard sawing at 8am…
I messaged the owner to ask about hairdryer meant to be in the room and there wasn’t one where he said there would be. The TV didn’t work and finally the owner didn’t reply when I messaged and asked about the Wi-Fi. I left a day early and booked a Travelodge as it all didn’t add up or feel safe. didn’t say on Common 2(my room) that the bathroom was shared either and the owner didn’t answer when I asked. a shambles. AVOID at all costs!
- Lisa (10/5): It was fabulous and u will come back. - The location is perfect to get to where you want, the place is clean and warm and it is worth the money.
There are shops and transport on the high road, and it's a nice area. Cant think of anything. Lol
- Mitchell (4/5): AVOID - The location was good. The bed was comfortable. Poor communication. The wifi was NOT free, and even the paid wifi was sub-par. I requested a refund for the amount I paid for wifi...I heard NOTHING back. A woman claimed she had reserved my room on my final night when she had not.
The walls are not very sound-proof.
This is a poorly run establishment at present.
