- Sofiane (1/5): You’ll find much better value for money elsewhere and in more convenient locations - Our stay got off to a bad start: when we arrived at 2 a.m., our room wasn’t available due to overbooking. The owner explained that this can happen because the property is listed on several platforms. Despite the fact that we had messaged ahead to confirm our late arrival, nothing was ready. He did eventually find us a solution by transferring us to another hotel for the night, but it took nearly an hour, and we were exhausted. It was definitely not the best way to begin our stay in Hanoi. The last-minute replacement hotel was also below expectations. The next day, our room was ready quickly, but it hadn’t been cleaned. I sent photos to the owner. A cleaning lady came to empty the trash, but that was it — even during our absence, no further cleaning was done. Maybe they rushed to prepare the room, but it was obvious it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time: hair on the floor, dust, dirty toilet, unemptied trash... I’ve attached a few photos to show some examples - dust buildup, hair, and unemptied bins. I honestly don’t understand the positive reviews I’ve seen. The location isn’t great either. For example, tour operators won’t pick you up from there because the hotel is not central enough. To be fair, the owner did try to make up for things here and there, but there was too much unprofessionalism for me to recommend this place.

It's probably one of a few places in Honoi where you'll have light in the room because there's a view and you don't look at the wall of another house.
