- jeckwong (9/5): - Room was very spacious and had all the amenties advertised. Location-wise wasn't too bad, its about a 5 minute walk between 2 stations (closer to 10minutes if you're a slow walker). Lots of local foods if you walk towards Tamachi/Mita station and very accessible to Haneda Airport via Hamamatsucho. Price was very reasonable also for the size of room you're given. Just being picky, but would be nice to have a washing machine; not a deal breaker in my opinion.

- Olga (10/5): Everything was perfect. It’s our fourth stay at this hotel and we are planning coming next summer - It is perfect for a family with kids Last year when we stayed at the property there was a young gentleman at the reception who was very rude and didn’t want to talk to me neither in Japanese nor in English. He just left in to his back office and told me he has no time to talk to me.
But this year the staff were very nice and friendly and also very helpful.

- Annie (6/5): Not pleasant and definitely not worth the money - This is no where close to any subway stations and it is not convenient to find. Not clean. Beddings were stain and toilet is dirty and smells.
- Wei Che (10/5): -
- Yuen (7/5): Good except had to do the bedding for 3th and 4th persons outselves - Spacious, washing machine with dryer, kitchen, location near the metro / train stations, the staff was very helpful. Extra toiletries offered on the ground floor. We arrived late evenings (10/11pm) and we had to do the beddings for the 3rd and 4th person ourselves (futon / sofa beds), stains on the pillow cases for the extra beddings.
- Lyndal (9/5): Great facilities and good sized room, a bit noisy and far from the train station - The room is really spacious and comfortable, with all the facilities needed for a family.
The separate tatami room is great for kids.
It is excellent having a washing machine and dryer in the room.
The staff were really friendly, but note that the reception is not open 24 hours, so you will need a pin to enter the building and enter your room. This property is a bit of a walk from train stations, up to 15 minutes walk to the closest station.
The trains can be heard throughout the night. This was manageable with ear plugs, but if you're sensitive to noise then it would be an issue.
- Christian (9/5): Superb -
- April (10/5): Exceptional - The front desk staff was nice and helpful when needed. It was nice having two sinks and a full sized mirror outside the bathroom, which made getting ready easy. I liked that the elevator needed a code which made it feel safer. The room was also super pretty!! After the staff leaves at 10pm, maybe there should be a code to get into the building itself for added security.
- Martin (9/5): Pleasant - Great apartment. nice and large. The washer-dryer didn't work and was not drying clothes. It ran for 6 hours, and the clothes were still saturated.
- Elaine (9/5): Spacious and comfortable stay in Tokyo! - Our room was spacious and comfortable. It was great having a washer in the unit and we had enough beds for everyone. The kitchenette was useful. We also liked that the toilet was in a separate room from the sink and shower. While the hotel itself is spacious and roomy, it was a bit far from the closest rail stations.
- Ari (10/5): Exceptional -
- Harrison (8/5): Would recommend for families. - Great sized room for families
- Claire (9/5): Superb - The apartment is a great set up for families or group of friends. They is a washer dryer ,kitchen
Everything you need.
The staff were friendly and very helpful.
Train station close by so can get to all sites and shopping.
Some nice restaurants within walking distance.
There is only one apartment on each level so it feels very private.
A great stay
Thankyou They was nothing
- Elly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nirasha (9/5): Superb -
- Sumona (10/5): Good value for the space and comfort. - The family room is spacious and comfortable, and the staff is friendly. The location is outside the tourist areas but very convenient by train. And we found it nice to have a more quiet area to come back to in the evenings. Everything was great
- Yukun (8/5): Very good -
- Kessels (8/5): Good value for money - Clean and good bathroom Not recommended with friends who snore.
- Sheila (10/5): Loved our short stay - Clean and cute room and a lot of powe outlet for electronics Not enough pillows
- An (7/5): Good - It was relatively near stations, restaurants and convenience stores. It was nice having a whole floor to ourselves. Cleanliness was good. The room looked bigger online, and guidance on where everything in the room was was not shown to us properly
- Arielle (10/5): Fantastic facilities in the room! Comfy bed and clean! - Lots of space in the room. The kitchen area and washer/dryer were so handy! Location was a little distance from the train station so transporting the luggage was a bit of a mission but we knew this when booking the accommodation.
- Olga (10/5): Enjoyed every second of it - Great location, quiet neighborhood, walking distance to subway and JR station, supermarket, drugstores and just 2 minutes to Starbucks! Everything. It’s our third stay at Monday Apart, and second at this location. It is perfect for the families with kids.
- Alvarado (8/5): Like a 1 bedroom unit western style - ensure if you stay you go to Daimon station where there are many restaurant option - Staff were lovely especially the lady who helped us work out the washing machine as instructions were all in Japanese Can hear trains nearby but get used to it
- Alice (8/5): Good experience - clean and comfortable! - Good for families! Well equipped! A little bit far from the stations.
- Veronica (9/5): Comfortable, charming, clean and conveniently located to stations. - The room was welcoming and spacious with gorgeous mural artwork on the walls. We were only staying the night but it had all the conveniences one would need, including cooking facilities and was in a convenient location. There was nothing not to like about the facility. One point to note was that Google Maps still references this venue by its former name "Gatestay Premium Hamamtsucho" so take note so as not to be confused. One other confusion was a cultural one, in that I didn't realise I would not be issued a room key or key card from the check-in machine. Japan typically uses keypads for room access which means you are only issued a pin number, something I did not expect. Once I understood that, I was able to check my receipt and see the room pin code to enter my room.
- Nuri (8/5): Very good - Clean Far from downtown
- May (10/5): Exceptional -
- May (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brenwyn (9/5): Superb - Great apartment in a nice neighbourhood, plenty of room for a family of 4, including 4 suitcses, nice and clean and fairly close to 3 train stations. Roughly 30-minute walk to the Red Tower, which is lovely at night. -
- Qazi (10/5): Love it. Would stay again in a heart beat. - I loved this hotel. It was far bigger than any of the other rooms near by but only a little bit more expensive. The room was spacious, extremely clean and well equipped. Easily could have stayed weeks here with all of the space, kitchen appliances, etc.
Will stay here next time I'm in Tokyo. The AC didnt get very cold. It was good enough for us but if you like sleeping in 18-19 degree rooms, it wouldn't have been cold enough for you.
- Crisaid (10/5): We loved our stay. Very spacious and clean. - Very clean, good location.
- Meredith (7/5): Good -
- Jing (8/5): Very good - It was a lovely spacious apartment and had all the facilities we needed. A 15-17min walk to a few metro stations, plus a 17min walk to see the Tokyo tower. It's right next to train tracks so you can hear them run. Although not too loud, it was still a comfortable stay and would still consider coming back.
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jia (7/5): Good - Washroom smelled like pee upon check in. Train too noisy.
- Victor (8/5): Very good -
- Koren (9/5): Superb - Large room. Staff was very helpful. Great location. Washing machine did not work well.
- Susan (8/5): Very good - Good size of room, clean, staff helpful taking luggage before check in Some noise from nearby trains but didn't keep us awake
- Binh (8/5): Very good -
- Teila (7/5): Good - Easy to find We expected milk and tea bags etc.
We went to near by 7/11 to do a shop
- Rebecca (9/5): We enjoyed our stay, great location and fitted our family perfectly. Loved having washing facilities - Great apartment, our family of 5 fitted comfortably and the washing facilities were very appreciated. Great location, easy access to the train system. We enjoyed our stay, thank you. There was no tea and coffee sachets available in the room.
- Jo (6/5): Good value - We got the room at a heavily discounted price which makes it overall good value for money. We were fortunate to book this when our trip out of Tokyo was cancelled and we had to turn back due to heavy snow.
We checked in late no there was no staff but self check in was easy.
Room was very big compared to most hotels in Tokyo. Perfect for a family.
Staff was helpful. It’s not very clean. Dirt and black spots on the mats, cushions, and walls. Thick dust on bed frame which we had to clean ourselves. Somewhat Accessible to two train stations.
- Nurulhuda (8/5): Very good - Room cleanliness could be better
- Akiko (8/5): Very good -
- Phires (5/5): Passable -
- Eric (8/5): Very good -
- Madeleine (7/5): Good -
- Madeleine (7/5): Good -
- Yunis (9/5): Superb - I like everthing about it but just a little bit far from station but our stay was soooo comfortable
- Morrison (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jasmine (10/5): Great location. Great apartment style room. - The location was great being just a 10-15 minute walk from a couple of stations. There were lots of food options nearby as well as a little grocery market 5 min walk away. The room was spacious and there were enough beds for all 5 of us. We liked the in-room laundry as well. We felt very safe and secure in the building.
- Jason (7/5): Functional room, good for 5 people with spacious bathroom - The apartment was nice and accommodated 5 people well. The bathroom was spacious, whilst the toilet was separate.
The hotel kept our luggage after check out as we were on a later flight. The hotel is very close to a train line. It bothered me at first but you got used to it and tuned out.
The lift is very temperamental. You need to stand in the right spot to get the weight distribution right for the doors to close.
The staff are well intentioned but not overly warm.
- Meredith (8/5): Very good -
- Cory (9/5): Superb -
- Yuri (8/5): Very good -
- Markovich (8/5): Very reasonable accommodation if you don't mind 10 minutes walk to the train station. - Can accommodate family of 5, which was important for us. About 10-12 minutes walk from any of the 3 train stations around the property.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Simon (9/5): Superb -
- Emma (10/5): Spacious and comfortable - Very spacious and comfortable. Appreciated the washing machine and full kitchen facilities. Great neighbourhood. The Shinkansen line behind the hotel had us a little worried but the room was well soundproofed! Had to make up the children’s beds ourselves. Bit of a walk (~10min) to the closest train station.
- Itsumi (8/5): Very good -
- Orasa (8/5): Very good -
- Laurent (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (8/5): very nice room great for close family group - location, and facilities were excellent tapping noise all night from somewhere in the room ruined the nights sleep
- Jane (8/5): Very good -
- Filipinas (8/5): Very good -
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peng (8/5): Good for family stay! - Supplies washing machine!
- Lu (7/5): Good - shower water not strong enough and temp of water are not stable.
- Javeed (6/5): Meh - okay but probably wouldn't stay again - The hotel room was spacious and had separate areas for sleeping. The general conditions of the bathroom, etc., were good. There was a washing machine and a kitchenette. At check in, the staff only spoke Japanese and did not speak English. This would not be what I would expect for the price I am paying and when we arrived exhausted and wet from walking 15min from Hamamatsucho station in the rain, it was frustrating and challenging. The checkout time (10 am) was earlier than other places. The bedding was a bit hard for our liking. One of the comforters had a blood stain. The walk to metro was a bit longer than we expected.
- Chris (8/5): Very good -
- Jing (8/5): Amazing apartment! - The apartment was amazing. It is definitely more spacious than the normal apartments in Tokyo. There was a dining area and a tatami room where we slept in futon, which was a great experience. The apartment is 10-15mins straight walk from several train stations. It takes about 20-25mins of train ride to the tourist locations (Shibuya, Harajuku, Shinjuku, Asakusa) which was very convenient. If you are flying back from Haneda airport, it is 15mins walk to Hamamatsucho station which has a monorail that goes directly to the airport.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb - Nice room with all required facilities including washer dryer in room. Booking.com directions and Google maps link were not correct, so it took us a long time to find the hotel. They need to change reference in Google Maps to 1 chome instead of 11 chome.
- Tomer (8/5): Spacious apartment: good for family and for business - Spacious apartment in Tokyo standards. We were 5 and there was ample space for all: large queen-size bed plus + 2 sofas + 2 futons. Nice kitchen and relatively spacious bathroom with 2 sinks and a separate toilet. A little remote; 10-15 min walk from metro.
No hotel facilities.
- Darcy (8/5): Nice if you are traveling in a party up to five - The location is relatively okay to get round on both the metro and the subway (about .6KM away) and through those stations you have direct access within easy reach of many of the top tourist attractions. The room does have a kitchen and their is a decent supermarket within easy walking distance. Could reasonably sleep a family of 5 in the accommodation if you wanted to. While the staff are nice and wanting to be helpful, most were quite limited in their English so couldn't add much value to any questions you might have. One fairly uncomfortable pillow per bed. Price per night seemed quite high but is somewhat central although will need to walk .5-.7km to nearest metro/train stations. Also, we were fine with it but if you stay 5 nights they only clean the apartment once during that time but they do have a washing machine which was nice and provide all the towels you would need as well as have extra things you might want in reception so not really an issue.
- Heather (5/5): Wouldn't return - The space was larger which is unexpected in Japan, but large was geared towards lots of people in a single room. Could have been cleaner. The check in process was poor.
- Carol (9/5): Wonderful family room - Large room for five of us; very comfortable. More blankets available on room
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Maximilian (9/5): Great place for tourists/people coming for brief work trip. - Stayed here for the first 6 nights that we were in Japan (group of 6 teenagers from Australia on boys trip). Great location, short walk from two stations. 7/11 just down the street which is all you need to survive as a tourist in Japan. For stays under 7 nights the hotel staff do complimentary room cleaning every three days (twice in our stay) which was very nice. Checked in via a computer at the front desk at 11pm (staff leave at around 8pm). For 6 people in one room it was great, two beds, two sofa beds, and two futons. Had free wifi, nice bathroom+shower, hot water was a bit tricky to work out but it works fine. Couldn't recommend enough for any tourists looking for a place that provides easy access to all the major parts of Tokyo. We had no clue how to use the washing machine but that's what comes with not knowing Japanese.
- Maura (8/5): Very good -
