• Kenny (1/5): It was a total scam. - There was no airconditioning and “private” bathroom, even though it was advertised as such. Airconditioning was in fact central, and the host refused to switch it on. Bathroom was a shared one, not private. This is false advertising. I am considering a report to the ombudsman.

• Rupesh (9/5): Excellent option for a short stay. - Ease of checking in. Availability of facilities even though it was basic. Just the bathroom area in no.1 could be enclosed so that the water doesn’t spill outside.

Was grateful to have use of a washing machine and clothes line and my own desk for computer work. Appreciated the fridge and freezer space and use of the kitchen facilities. • Sarah (6/5): - Overall, the accommodation is pretty clean, and close to bus stops and about 10-15 walk to Dickerson shops! Felt pretty safe in this area since I was solo travelling. Its pretty noisy especially the room I stayed in; which was situated between two bathrooms. Someone was also up at 06:00 hours making their breakfast in the morning and they didn't bother to be quiet about it unfortunately.
• Mitchell (4/5): Lower your expectations - Cost effective accommodation Advertised as room with private bathroom. There are two bathrooms and they are both shared. One of the sinks is not connected to the sewer so you would have to wash your hands in the kitchen. Pretty average.

• Ilze (7/5): Small, cosy warm room with bathroom in corridor + kitchen to use. - The host replied straight away when we wrote about parking and guided us to it. Even misunderstanding about the bathroom was fixed. The heater in the room was a blessing due to cold night (-1C°) The shower in the morning was hot and the pressure of water was good! There was coffee, tea, cutlery, and plates in the kitchen to use. We paid a bit extra for room with private bathroom, but when we arrived, the only bathroom to use was in the corridor.. Host said they never advertised a room with a private bathroom, and hearing about our disappointment was offering an opportunity to cancel the booking. But it was late and we decided to stay. The room was small, but cosy and warm. P.s. you need to take on board, that that's a share-house and you will hear a lot of noise from kitchen and bathroom .. P.p.s. no TV..🤷‍♀️

• Ayush (5/5): Passable - Close to the city centre, no check in time obligation. Room was very small, the bathroom was shared while it was mentioned in the description that it's a private bathroom.

• Talitha (10/5): Best Homestay 👌 - The place is amazing. Great location. Close to Dickson shops and the bus stop. The house was clean, comfy, fresh. The room was big and has everything. The bathroom was clean, the kitchen was clean and inviting. The most important part were the hosts. They are a wonderful couple. They hosted me with open arms. They were very respectful and friendly. I would definitely recommend any budget friendly solo traveler to book that homestay. 🙏💜 I loved everything about the homestay. There was nothing to not like.

• Heather (7/5): quiet area and other guests. close to Dickson, parking easy - location was good for my need this time visiting ACT. accom was very clean the front code system was very hard to read as didnt light up and you had to press buttons to try and get it to work. but i did work it out. this could be improved
• Amanda (1/5): Not at all as advertised, cold, uncomfortable & noisy. And no person on site to trouble shoot or sort out any issue - Nothing Arrived and unable to get in with the code pad. Owner finally let me in. When I asked how I would get in after I came back from dinner was told to ask the other residents & that I wasn’t doing it properly. No heating in room as advertised & the house was very cold on arrival. Was told not to worry about this as winter has only just begun and to close the bedroom door and it would be warm enough. Noise from other toilets as room in between two toilets. Decided not to stay here for the nights I had booked ( even though I could not get my money reimbursed). Was then accused by the owner of taking items out of the room and asked where I had taken them!!

• Chia (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, pleasant walk to Dickson shops and close enough to public transport for me. Hosts were kind and friendly. I only stayed a short period and was out all day, so the bedroom and bathroom were quite adequate for my needs.

• C.f.c (7/5): A good place with basic settings - Good internet connection for streaming. It's generally quiet at night. A bit far from everything; light rail and restaurants, but for the price per night I think it's fair. And it can become noisy from 7 am, but if you wear earplugs you shouldn't notice it much.
• Junmei (8/5): Worth the money but would never take the room next to bathroom - Clean Bit crowded. Everything was fine until I was woken up at 4am because someone flushed the toilet. My room was between two bathrooms so not surprised.
