While it is not the newest hotel and indeed the furnishings a bit outdated, we found it to be very comfortable and clean still. The location is excellent and serves as a great base to explore all the main points of interest by foot.

• Sergei (10/5): Хороший недорогой отель, который выручит в трудную минуту - С отменой и переносом рейса из Дубая и полным непониманием того, когда мы улетим из Хошимина, мы столкнулись с проблемой бронирования отеля. Нам нужно было бронирование без карты, без предоплаты с отменой брони в день заезда, Что оказалось непросто найти:). Asian Ruby Hotel полностью соответствовал нашим требование. К тому же отель оказался в центре, что было нам необходимо, т.к. у нас была забронирована экскурсия по Сайгону из отеля в центре. В номере было все необходимое, все наши просьбы сразу выполняли, неплохой завтрак, хорошо работал МАХ, в общем мы не только порадовались, что нашли отель, но он нам и понравился. После заезда в отель ,, т.к. мы не ставили приложений, нам вызвали такси на ресепшен, мы сами посмотрели пагоду Нефритового императора, вечером обошли микрорайон, но не переходя дорогу, для меня в Азии это тяжелое испытание :), но там были магазинчики, небольшой супермаркет, торговали фруктами, все что хотелось купили. На следующий день после экскурсии поняли, что нам удается вылететь в Дубай и дальше, опять-таки не подвело и такси, вызванное с ресепшен. В тех условиях, в которых мы находились, нам все понравилось. Движение транспорта на улице нам конечно не понравилось, но это характерно для Вьетнама вообще.

• ChrisSch (4/5): Schlimmste Zimmer auf der Reise - Die Lage im District 1 war sehr gut. Abholung von Touren, direkt aus dem Hotel möglich. Die "Deluxe" Zimmer waren sehr schmutzig und von Deluxe sehr weit entfernt. Die Rückwand des Bettes (Stoffbezug) war sehr schmutzig. Das Leintuch schmutzig. Der Minibar Kühlschrank war von aussen sehr sehr schmutzig (wirklich unterirdisch) Schränke ect. sehr abgerockt. Zimmer mit Guckloch trifft es eher, als Zimmer mit Fenster. Für diesen Preis eine absolute Frechheit. Das Frühstück war sehr eintönig.

• Heidi (1/5): Terrible service at that location - We booked the Asia Ruby hotel for our trip to Vietnam. I was very shocked when I arrived to check in. The room we booked was a Deluxe Double Room with bath, but when we got to the room, all the furniture was very old and the layout was nothing like what was shown online and on Google. I was moved to the 7th floor, and they said this was the largest VIP room they had at this location and their branch. We were really disappointed because everything in the bathroom was very dirty and water was leaking from the shower. They came to check but couldn't fix it. We couldn't leave because we had paid with a credit card, and they didn't want to refund us. We really need to be more careful about these kinds of customer deception. Meanwhile, the room rates were too high. The hotel apartment was worse compared to nearby hotels. The food was just terrible. I'm very sad that my vacation turned out to be like this. How disappointed

When I walked into the room, the curtains fell off, the bathtub was old and stained, and the bed and pillows were uncomfortable and smelled bad. The hotel really needs renovations to justify the price they charge. What made me dislike this place the most is that the pictures they show look very nice, but the reality is far below our expectations.

• Cecile (1/5): Je regrette d’y être allé. Surtout le prix que j’ai payé pour avoir un studio et j’ai eu une chambre catastrophique. C’e - RIEN À FUIR ! Heureusement je n’ai séjourné qu’une nuit ! Je n’ai rien aimé. Le lit n’est pas confortable, la salle de bain sent mauvais. De la rouille . La baignoire est dans un sale état. PAS D’EAU CHAUDE ( tiède ❄️) j’ai du me laver à l’eau froide alors que j’avais déjà refroidit la pièce. Le sofa est taché et sent mauvais. J’avais réservé un studio mais une fois le paiement effectué en espèce , elle m’annonce qu’il n’est plus disponible! Donc soi disant elle me fait aller dans la chambre VIP ! C’était l’horreur il n’y avait rien de VIP. C’est vieillot et sale. Heureusement que j’avais booker uniquement une nuit pour prendre mon vol le lendemain. J’ai déjà dormi dans BIEN mieux à HCMC pour moins cher. Franchement il vaut pas le prix. Le service n’est pas confort. C’est mon avis chacun fait ce qu’il veut. Les photos ne reflète pas la réalité attention. Le petit dej est plus salé que sucré. Salle petite. Pas de place.

It's near some super cool little food spots, though a bit chaotic out on the road. Saying that where isn't in HCMC! Could have been a better breakfast. Maybe some more variety of fruit, or some nicer coffee. Some noise was coming off the street so maybe not great for light sleepers.

• Liselott (5/5): Läget är bra men vårt rum var riktigt tråkigt - Bra läge mitt i distrikt ett och lobbyn/frukostområdet gav ett familjärt intryck när vi kom. Vi hade ett familjerum, två queensizesängar men rummet gav ett riktigt trist intryck mot hur det såg ut på bilderna. Funkar för en natt men skulle inte stanna längre om det inte finns roligare rum.

The bathroom was not functional properly, the hot water was not coming, the lights were going off. The intercom phone was not working; it was a very terrible experience. But the staff was pretty responsive. But they don't respect privacy; once they come, they just barge into the room etc.

The bathroom was very old. I dont think it's good value compared to other hotels for the same price. The room was so small there was not enough room to open our suitcases. I do not recommend.

• Vikas (8/5): - The location is super good, everything is near by. The receptionist helped us in exchanging currency from US dollars to VND at hotel itself. Breakfast was good, beds were comfy but I think room was little small. Bathroom was clean and big but could have been a little bit more better. They were also ready to give us SIM cards but we declined. Staff was courteous, helped us in booking bus for our onwards journey. They didn't asked for prepayment, when we checked out only then we did the payment. We had gone out to explore the city so our luggage was kept at hotel even after checkout time. I think only space as of now. I felt room was bit small. Otherwise there are no negative things about property. But again it is not a deal breaker.

• Nelson Honner (9/5): - Close to everything staff polite and friendly and a good breakfast aswell as a massage at the hotel if you need one, I got a full body and a foot massage when I was tired and sore 👍. The staff also helped with booking me a tour when I needed. Rooms not that huge and no balcony but still it was good enough for what I needed.

• Darrell (9/5): We were happy with our stay at Asian Ruby. - Location was very good. Close to services including supermarket. Large fridge with freezer was a great asset. We would have liked more western style breakfast options . Labelling of condiments would be helpful. Somewhere to put our suitcases off the floor.

• Amasa (7/5): Convenient stay within the city - The rooms were clean. Location is very convenient. Just a walk away to convenience stores, coffee shops, restaurants. Served buffet for breakfast which was a generous spread. Overall, the property was good. One room had water leaking from the AC. The double rooms were quite small.
• Karolina (5/5): Zdecydowanie nie jest 3-gwiazdowy. Maksymalnie 2 gwiazdki. - Dobra lokalizacja. Względnie blisko centrum, 1 dzielnica więc w razie wycieczek możliwy odbiór prosto z hotelu. Dobre restauracje dookoła. Plus za możliwość pozostawienia bagażu na czas podróży np. na wyspę. Względnie czysto, brak robactwa. Śniadania typowo azjatyckiego - makaron, ryż, jajko na twardo, brak urozmaicenia. Byliśmy w hotelu 2 razy - najpierw 3 noce, potem wypad na wyspę i później 1 noc. W pierwszym pokoju był grzyb, w drugim przeciekające okno i sufit przez co podczas deszczu mieliśmy mini powódź w łazience. Klimatyzacja działa średnio, na pewno nie była dawno serwisowana i czyszczona. Hotelowi zdecydowanie przydałby się remont.
